Hulu is lowkey annoying.

This is the only streaming app that doesn’t allow me to rewind. When I rewind it blinks, reloads, and then goes back to the original scene I rewinded from. It’s so annoying and it’s not my tv or my cable because it happened at my old home with a different cable. Except my old cable was much slower, anyways I have to rewind it like three times until Hulu gets the hint.

Is anyone else experiencing this and knows why? Or does my Hulu just hate me.

Home Location keeps changing

My home location keeps changing and now I no longer have any home updates left . I have no idea why this is happening, I assume it’s due to using 5G home internet . Does anyone have any idea of what I can do to prevent this from happening or how I can get it resolved? Using 5G home internet is significantly less per month than using spectrum. Any and all insight is greatly appreciated!

Why do you suck on PS5??

My internet connectivity is fine, the Playstation is only 10 feet from the router, so that's not the issue at all. The issue is the app keeps shitting the bed on me mid-show/movie, saying "they're having a hard time playing this right now" then I have to close down the app completely. Then wait and use a different streaming service all together until Hulu decides it wants to finally work. It works just fine on my Roku or Roku tv, I'm screwed if I want to use the PS5 in the living room for more than a single episode of anything. Awesome

Can’t Find Bundle I Want

So I currently have Legacy Hulu + Live TV, Disney+ and ESPN+. I pay $91/mo.

I want to get rid of the Live TV portion of that and just have the basic Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+ bundle for $17/mo.

When I go to my account to select a different plan, the only bundles that they show are with Live TV. And then just stand-alone Hulu…no Disney or ESPN.

Yet these bundles are shown on the landing page of Hulu. I know they exist!

How do I get this done??

Why can't I screenshot Hulu episodes?

I was watching Bob's Burgers (episode Flat-Top O' The Morning To Ya) and tried to get a screenshot of the episode when this line of dialogue came up (since I wanted to share it to a Green Day group,) yet everytime I took a screenshot, the actual episode was blacked out and all you can see is the subtitles, such as here

Anyone know why this is?

Removed Hulu Movie

I cant remember the name, but I think it was titan, not 100% sure. But I know the main character was a blonde girl, they sky was always grey in this movie, and she was talking to a titan/made friends with it, not sure if her house was near a beach but I know there’s a scene with her in the beach, and that’s all I can remember. Anyone else remember based on these few details?

Are you still watching.

Anyone else sick and tired of paying for someone else to control our habits.

This annoying "Are you still watching" may have a good reason for the 'company' to control bandwidth, but we pay for the service... the control to turn off or on any annoying notifications should rest in the hands of the consumer. Some people use these streams for children, disabled people, pets, background noise, while sleeping and more... Any other such devices (pc's etc...) with that much intrusion can be told to stop (sometimes permanently - e.g. by checking the 'Don't ask again' box).

How can we demand our right to stop being told how to use our own things...?

Hulu, Disney+, Netflix, Max, ALL streaming services need to allow us the ability to make up our own mind how we choose to use what we spend our hard earned money on! Some may like the auto shut down features and continue to use them, but it should be up to us NOT the streaming service on how we conduct our own lives in our own homes.

Note: Besides, as capitalists, wouldn't companies want to keep sending commercials (even subliminal ones) throughout the night, or in the background of more consumers rather then being put on pause?

Just my opinion.

Ads are taking over the screen

Why are there now ads that shrink the screen size of the show and surround it with an ad that requires me to interact by choosing an answer to a question? They never seem to go away on there own, even when regular ads start playing. I don't want to have to answer a question to see the show I'm watching at the full screen size.

ESPN+ on different devices shows different content

A few years ago we bought the espn+ package to watch NHL games. At the time we lived in NYC and had a Verizon streamtv device. Then we moved to CA and got a new smart TV but still have the streamtv. Both have Hulu. But I was noticing that the smart tv almost never had nhl games. So I checked and sure enough , the nhl games that are broadcasted on the streamtv device are not on our newer smart tv.

What’s gives ? Did we accidentally break a rule ?

Black screen and AD in the upper right

When I’m watching sports I notice this the most…the screen turns black and there is a gold box in the upper right corner that says Ad…this happens in the middle of the action. It just happened while a pass was in the air in a college football game. It lasts a few seconds then returns to the same point in the game. I don’t think I’m missing any action, but the interruption is very annoying. What is happening, why, and can I do anything to stop it?

Does anyone know what's happening to The Fable? It seems stalled at Episode 25, and that's not the end, nor a season end. (I believe.) Any ideas??

Why did FanDuel drop from sports package.

Just wondering if anyone knew why FanDuel was dropped from the sports package? I literally dropped spectrum cable and just signed up for the discount the first month then added FanDuel to watch the St. Louis Blues games. Now what? Anyone have any suggestions?

Cost

Unfortunately I had to cancel our subscription due to the constant price increases. Everything already is so expensive and we’re struggling. Hopefully in the future they can lower their prices but I don’t see that happening any time soon.

Thursday night football game is missing portions of the game when returning from commercial break

Tonight , 10/31 when watching the Jets and Eagles, a challenged play or something similar would bring us to a commercial break. When the break ended, the game was noticeably further along, by several minutes with scores being made, or a different team with possession than when we left for the break. I am recording the game, but refreshing/rewinding or what have you is without any effect. Anyone else?

Random refunds?

I just noticed that Hulu sent me two separate refunds, both for $30, on the 17th and 25th of this month (October). I haven’t got a clue what that $60 is about. Anyone else have this happen? If it’s a mistake on their part, I’d like to get it sorted out. I’m asking here before I waste a bunch of time trying to get ahold of someone at Hulu support to give me answers lol.
