We all know that. It's a marketing term. Netflix uses the term “original” to delineate between movies and series that are exclusive to its platform, and those that are aggregated from other studios after first being made available elsewhere.

i watched breaking bad from start to finish and i think i got like 5 ads the whole series. hbo max or peacock have like 5 ads every episode. 7 bucks for this seems like a steal
If I’m going through trying to find a specific time of the episode to start watching from, there shouldn’t be ads popping up. I can stream anything I want for free but pay for the convenience and this isn’t convenient. Now you’re gonna ask for more money for no ads? Yeah that isn’t convenient either. Do more of a rant than anything but ya, streaming platforms are starting to suck like this now.
Just finished the show and it was great. Last episode took a little turn I wasn’t expecting. Two Barney(Neil Patrick Harris) in my eyes was the glue of the show. Time to find another show in between my anime shows. Any suggestions. I’ve watched Seinfeld, Friends, Big Bang Theory, The Office and a few others. Just curious if there’s other long running sitcoms I can check out on Netflix.
Can we just discuss this documentary on Netflix rn? I really wanna know the opinions of others who have watched this. Am I the only one who really doesn't feel bad for this lady? Also how does her cousin have so much time to make a family of fake profiles and text 24/7????? It genuinely made me mad how annoying everyone in this show was.
I purchased a month's membership of Netflix just so I could watch the Mike Tyson fight. Well, I think everybody knows how that went, it was a horrendous signal that was coming from Netflix. I've never witnessed such failure. I think I was able to see maybe half of the fight. The other half was constantly buffering and it wouldn't connect. I have a pretty fast internet connection and it was all working that evening on my end.
I did not watch anything else, only that fight.
I tried to contact Netflix to get them to reimburse or refund me for this one month, but customer service was unwilling to help me, not the first guy I talked with or the second - the floor manager.
I found it left a really bad taste in my mind for streaming services. That if having a streaming service and taking people's money without providing said services is okay, then something is really screwed up in the world. That's netflix. Fleaflix. Whatever you want to call them, they suck and they're not afraid to defraud you and take your money and not provide a working stream. I hope this can serve as a warning to some people out there. But hey, you make your own choice. I'm just providing you with my experience.
Any idea how to get around the mobile issue? 😕 Netflix ain't working on mobile for many Android users, it's been MONTHS now. Anyone figured a way to the problem?
For those who don't know, Netflix plays a show on mobile for a few seconds before glitching terribly and only the audio goes on.
I can't find any news or info about the series continuation. Is the latest season comming this Christmas or is it canceled? We watched it every year since it came out and would feel weird not having it at this point, ot's like a Christmas tradition to watch the latest season. Would be nice if it continued, especially since it didn't have a proper ending yet. Any info abot this would be appreciated!
For the first time in my life, I’ve been getting into true crime this year - tv series + documentaries - and just watched The Murder of JonBenet Ramsey. I’m absolutely speechless 😵💫.
Out of all the documentaries I’ve seen, this one really stood out—it kept me on the edge of my seat more than most. I thought it was one of the better ones for sure.
For those who are true crime fans,
What are the best documentaries you’ve watched? AND/OR tv series that are based on a true story. Any streaming service is fine!!
I know there are a few series that have been on for years (ex. People investigates, playboy murders, etc) any series stand out as being better than others?
Here’s what I’ve already seen this year:
— Menendez Brothers — Jail Break: Love on the Run — American Murder: Laci Peterson — Face to Face with Scott Peterson — Perfect Wife Disappearance — murdaugh murders
Looking forward to your recommendations!
I've seen on ebay season 1-3 but can't find any details about netflix releasing them. Did netflix only release season 1 or all 3? I love this show and would be willing to fully buy the show if possible but if only season 1 is available then it's kinda pointless in buying just one season
Amy Schumer was amazing! just found out this movie came out a long time ago, and I’m genuinely surprised. genres and themes like these are usually never explored like they did. it was perfect, message received, performances on point, everything was just great!
I've been screen sharing for a year while my partner is out of country. Now I just get a black screen even with all "acceleration and everything else turned off. Does anyone have any solutions? I'm considering unsubbing because of how inconvenient netflix is making their nonsense. I already get banned everytime I leave the country now I can't even screen share with my partner.
I’ve just finished the second series of Arcane, and it’s an amazing set of episodes and an involving, thrilling conclusion to what was set up with the first series.
If you watched series 1 and found it in any form interesting, then do yourself a favor and load up series 2. It’s really, really impressive.
Hace unos años viví una relación con una persona que estaba mal mentalmente y con los años me han dicho que es una buena historia para contarse como en película
I started Eric and I’m enjoying it. However, when trying to find the name of an actor, I ran across something that mentioned visual child sexual assault (CSA).
It sounds like a child is SA’d and then murdered. It sounds like it’s shown multiple times — maybe as a recording?
I’m a survivor of CSA and I would like to avoid those scenes. Usually, I just skip those scenes, but now I know that it’s repeated, and I’m less confident that I will be quick enough. It’s my understanding that there are no CW for those episodes.
I’m not having any luck finding the episodes that have those scenes. Can anyone let me know what episodes have them, or what scenes I can expect to occur beforehand?
Watching a movie on Netflix, which we pay for has as many Ads now as watching a movie on regular OTA TV. How did we get here? The movie wasn't even that good, Billy Bob Thorton did a great job, The Rock didn't do any bad acting and we like The Rock, just seemed like it wasn't the best casting choice.
Some features/abilities that I believe should have been incorporated by now:
What else?
Am I the only who thinks Mikey and Miko are banging backstage? I feel like they're being so flirtatious, and he guessed the charcuter-tree way too easily 😂 it looked so realistic.
From Breaking Bad to Dexter there are many circumstances where a show that is mostly in one language also has extended conversations spoken in another language and the subtitles either just say [Speaking Spanish] or actually have the subtitles in Spanish.
As an English/French bilingual (but practically English monolingual) this is real frustrating.
Somebody has to notify somebody that the way these subtitles are handled makes absolutely no sense.
Everytime I go to the lastest to see what's new and coming to netflix, the app freezes and won't respond to my remote control. Is anyone else having this problem?
no matter how much time has passed since i've finished any show, as soon as i see a well made edit..... all the feels come back.
some edits are so good that i've started shows because of them. they deserve so much credit 🙌🏻
