What reptile pet would fit this description?

Hey looking to get a reptile pet, not sure what to get. I kind of know what criteria i want , but not exactly sure what fits the description. Any ideas?

  • diurnal / active during the day
  • insectivore
  • dont mind not being able to handle it
  • fun to watch jumping around
  • arboreal
  • that would fit right in a 24 x 18 x 24 or 24 x 18 x 36 tank
  • can have 2 or 3 lizards living together
  • dont mind its temperament / handability
  • can be in bioactive / or fake plant enclosure
  • does not grow too large (more than 12 inches)
  • not too shy (i want to be able to watch it without being scared)
  • not high maintenance / delicate
  • under $200

Does this exist? 🤣🤣

pick your poison err i mean pick your venom kind of question: which would you prefer or at least barely prefer? having limbs bitten off by a crocodilian or surviving a horribly venomous snake bite?

Vote the green tree python

He is done with OCC and stabilized his pattern. Although I swear he is getting more black scales.

What can I use this for?

I have aquired a 120 gallon fish tank for a good price but because of where I'm putting it I can't get water in it otherwise it would fall through the floor. It also came with about 100 pounds of different sized pebbles for a substrate. What reptiles could I fit in it and what could I use the pebbles for. I've had reptiles in the past and am leaning towards beardie or a ball python but I have no clue what to use the pebbles for. If there's a interesting reptile I could fit in the tank that would be fine with pebbles I'd love to hear about it.

Adding live herbs to uromastyx enclosure

We have started to grow some of our own food for my sons uromastyx. We are interested in experimenting with growing them inside his enclosure to add some visual interest and some entertainment for him.

I would like to start by keeping the herbs in small pots so that we can refresh and rotate them so he is having variety.

I know houseplants, but not lizard care.

What type of potting medium would be best? Something like Leca instead of soil? Are we better to go a hydroponic route so we’re not introducing anything foreign to his environment? Also, are there any types of fertilizer that would be safe?

What to keep in a 30x30x45cm exo terra?

Someone was keeping two egg eating snakes in this tank which I adopted. Moved the snakes into separate, more appropriate enclosures and now I have an empty tank.

What is a reptile small enough for this that isn’t too difficult to care for? I’m a big fan of snakes because they are low maintenance. But I can’t think of a snake that fits in this enclosure. Any recommendations are welcome but I would prefer reptiles over amphibians or anything else.

Is this tank big enough??

I have a tank that is 30in (76.2cm) length, 13in (33cm) width, and 19in (46.3cm) tall. My brother says it’s a 40 or 45 gallon tank.

Would this be big enough for a gargoyle gecko, day gecko, leopard gecko, or crested gecko? Me and my partner would really like to get one of these if we can, but want to make sure this tank is big enough!

If it’s not the right size for one of these geckos, what could it work for?

Guys I’m in need of leopard gecko advice

I was given 2 leopard geckos one male and one female and their morphs are jungle stripes for the Female and I think super hypo tangerine carrot tail for the male how is this tank I'm entirely fine to advise and slander just don't report me I'm completely new and they were thrown on me can you guys rate How the tank looks from 1-10 and any advice? I should add before I do anything else. And should I worry about breeding they don't fright the male lost a toe due to a stuck shed but please help with anything. The geckos are in the top left and right corners of the tank and I'm currently working on getting a UVB bulb They blew out today or it would be on. Btw their names are Buddy and Amazon Buddy already had its name and neither did my family can't change their names (He’s the boy). Amazon had no name so I named her that because of her morphs when I think of a jungle I think of the Amazon rainforest (She’s the girl)

My Burmese python advice

I have a male Burmese python just over a year old. I'm worried he isn't large enough yet. He's around 5 feet. I feed him biweekly medium rats atm. He is not skinny what so ever and seems at a healthy weight. Is this normal or do I need to feed him more often?

Leave it to Dubia roaches to eat each other when you're intentionally trying to breed, then breed in the sacrifice bucket 🥲

bio active - where to even start?

hi everyone! long time lurker, first time poster in this sub reddit. for some context, my husband and i own a leopard gecko; which to us has been the gateway drug into reptile keeping. we’re now looking into getting a crested gecko, and with all of our research, we’ve decided it would be best to do a bioactive set up. the problem is, we have no clue where to start. does anyone have any step by step guides on how to build one for a crested gecko? we’d also love to do one for our leopard gecko, so if someone could suggest how to do this too, we’d love to know!! thank you so much for reading and we can’t wait to hear your suggestions! picture of our super snow tremper girl (beep) for gecko tax ((:
