/r/photoshopbattles
Photoshop contests on reddit. A place to battle using image manipulation software, play photoshop tennis, create new images from old photos, or even win reddit gold.
A subreddit for people to create new images with image manipulation software.
Feel free to submit non-manipulated images, or post photoshopped versions in the comment sections.
Official weekly battles are held where winners get three months of reddit gold, pick the photo for the next battle, and get special flair.
Please set your comment options preferences to display 500 comments by default.
I. Titles
All titles must begin with PsBattle:
This is case sensitive and must include a space after the colon.
Titles must objectively describe the subject of the image.
2.1. No jokes, editorialising, or giving background info. The quality of the image is more important than how catchy the title is.
2.2. Requests, such as "Please photoshop me or my friend", are not permitted. Please review our suggestions below for an appropriate subreddit.
2.3. Questions, such as "Where else could he be?" are not permitted.
2.4. No personal anecdotes or mention of your connection to the image.
2.5. No clichés such as "this has potential", "make this epic", "This cat/dog/baby", or "My friend/daughter/son...".
II. Image content
Submissions must be a direct link to a single image. Albums and paneled/tiled images will be removed.
Images must be reasonable quality.
2.1. Images must be at least 600x600 pixels (360,000 pixels total).
2.2. No technically low-quality images.
2.3. Images must be relatively well framed, and free from noise, blur, and distortion.
No disallowed image content.
3.1. No photos of tv screens / computer monitors / physical pictures / billboards / magazines, etc.
3.2. Images centered around text or signs may be removed.
3.3. No phone / computer screenshots.
Images that have already been photoshopped may be removed, including images with watermarks, logos, or added text.
Images that have active threads, or have been photoshopped here, or elsewhere, may be removed.
If the mods believe that someone would object to having their image photoshopped or shared (no snapchats), it may be removed.
Sexually suggestive and overly gory submissions may be removed.
Deleting submissions with work in the comment section is not tolerated, and will result in a permanent submission ban.
Link to submission rules page.
Junk comments distract from this subreddit a lot more than in other subreddits that are not based on original content.
Comments that are cliché, karma chains, not an original photoshop, memes, reaction gifs, upvote gifs, or off topic are subject to removal by the moderators without notification.
NSFW tags must be used generously.
Top-level comments must contain an original photoshop.
Voting
Please upvote based on quality of work. Lazy shops shouldn't win just because they made you laugh.
Please do not downvote submissions just because they do not have obvious potential.
Please report inappropriate content to the mods.

(more information on flair here)
###The Rules
You can post as many as you want.
You can vote for as many different entries as you want, but please do not downvote. Downvotes will not be counted when deciding winners.
These will be handed out by a bot, but due to our comment hiding system, sometimes it misses people. If you entered but didn't get one, just send the mods a message, and we'll fix you up.
Winners can enter Weeklies for which they have submitted the stock image, but they will not be eligible to win.
Please be sure to tag NSFW entries appropriately.
If you see anything inappropriate that's not tagged, either report the comment or send a message to the moderators.
###The Schedule
All entries will be hidden for the first 48 hours.
Voting will open on Tuesday, after which all entries will be visible.
Contest mode will be enabled for another 24 hours. This will sort comments randomly, obscure vote counts, and automatically minimize child comments.
From there on out, each comment's vote total will be visible, and entries can be sorted by karma (just like any other Reddit thread).
Next week's battle will be posted early Saturday morning.
Best of luck, everyone; have fun!
