The music is amazing, the actual fight against Wave Man himself is a really good balance of difficulty and pattern recognition, and the jet ski portion of the level is SO COOL I love it so much.
Title is pretty much exactly it. I'm in a mood to do some work and listen to a bunch of random guys go over the Mega Man series in depth from start to finish. Looking for longer podcasts than your typical review videos like J's Reviews or Johnny VS [insert]. I'm a huge fan of the guys at Kinda Funny In Review and would LOVE something similar, so any recommendations would be nice, as all I can find so far are the one off podcast episodes talking about the 'big' titles in the series (X, MM2, etc)
Sorry for the bad performance this game is really playable in 60fps but the cause of recording make it like low fps
Only one left to make the X1 Mavericks collection complete.

Happy printing ✌️
Like I mentioned I feel like mega man franchised could be a golden opportunity to capcon go high to success , mega man has potential to be like sonic or Mario , sega treats sonic so well with animations , even anime’s , mega man COULD become a great anime YES IK IT HAD BEFORE but that anime’s were not really canon nor just like the games they were all diferent from source material and it’s really sad once you watch the ova they produced the day of sigma just concluded that they can they just don’t want to do a mega man x anime the lore of X games are great imagine how great would be animated
(Game: Make A Good Mega Man Level 3)
I wanted to bring up what I think would be a fun discussion. If ever series in the franchise was to get a new game, what would you like to see changed or implemented? And these are what I thought of.
Original megaman: make the robot master abilities lean also to platforming. It always was kind of odd to me they never really helped with platforming. And I don't mean make it so that now you need a set back but maybe because you have this ability it makes it easier to go down an alternate path which will either save you time or give you useful items..nothing needed but still. Also I'm fine with the double gear system coming back. My head cannon is the gear system is what gets refined enough that allows for robots to handle higher power and processing which leads towards the x series level robots.
X: the mavericks weapons are affected by the armors x wears and for zero are either new weapons or new abilities. Which I know to an extent this is already trying but I want to see it more because to me x feels more combat focused
Zero: allow for execution style finishers on normal mobs and then fatal blow attacks on the bosses. Shows more of zero's lethality. Or give zero boss weapons. I always found it weird he never really got stuff for beating bosses.
Zx: combining of the force metals. We already have the titular zx model. Why not make it so you can combine other metals.
Legends: I never played so I don't know. But just more items to help explore is always fun. Lean into 3d platformer kind of thing.
Battle network: I feel 3 and 6 were great on the directions they took. Honestly maybe just higher difficulty mode. I don't really know. Would love suggestions.
StarForce: I feel like 3 was great and it's been a bit since I played it so I can't really recommend much for it. I feel like it's combat was already well refined. Maybe kind of the same idea as battle network series with higher difficulty settings.
I'm not sure but I don't like the implications. Not one bit.
If you want to play the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection WITHOUT pre-filtered cutscenes and in its original pixelated style, I created a mod that does that.

Here are some screenshots:
I don’t have a picture or a video of it but in megaman ZX you can slash a enemy and if you “twitch” fast enough you can get 2 hits on a enemy with a single move on a single frame. You can’t do it to bosses because invincibility frames but I was wondering if anyone knows about this? Or do speedrunners or anyone do it?
Title speaks for itself. Those were by far the two fan games i was most hyped for and i can’t find anything from either creator from over a year ago, but no confirmed cancellation either🥺
For like 2 weeks or so I remembered this photo (I think it was from Twitter) of a blockbuster (? Rental manual for Megaman 1, I think it was only one image but it had a story about Wily killing Dr.Light, and that the Energy Pickups are "belt buckles", I remember that the image appeared in like a video about Dr.Light maybe (?
So I'm asking if somebody has this image or a scan, or if this is like fake and I just made believe myself that it ever existed.
