It's been 20 years since Viewtiful Joe 2 released, and the story still has no conclusion. I've beaten all four games in the franchise, and I can say that neither Red Hot Rumble nor Double Trouble are Viewtiful Joe 3. Neither of them fit Captain Blue's prophesied third major planet-endangering threat and neither one of them begins where the second game ends (it's a cliffhanger of the absolute WORST type, for those who don't know), despite Double Trouble introducing a very important couple of characters.

Viewtiful Joe sold over 600k copies on Gamecube alone, and almost a million when you combine that with the PS2 version's sales. Both of the first games won their fair share of awards and nominations for awards, aa well. Hideki Kamiya himself still wants to bring a proper end to the story with a Viewtiful Joe 3 and still has an entire plot for the game thoroughly laid out and detailed, even though he's now with Platinum Games and not Capcom.

I've essentially given up fope for a Viewtiful Joe 3 simply because of how long it's been and Capcom saying they're not interested, but what do you guys think? They still put out content that shows they are very aware of the brand, so do you guys think there's any chance the franchise could return in any real capacity? Do you want it to? I still see a pretty good amount of people on YouTube and other websites talk about wanting Capcom to resurrect the franchise, so I figured I'd ask here. Personally, I would be satisfied if we even just got an HD Collection of the three console games, or even just VJ 1&2. I'd just want the games to pkay like and look like the Gamecube versions of the games instead of the Playstation versions while having the exclusive content of the Playstation versions (aka the Devil May Cry characters and extra casual difficulty for those who may need it)!

Just curious cause I already own final fight for the arcade stadium but there’s no online play. It’s my favorite of the seven games offered here so tempted to pick up this game if there’s an active online community playing it.

These classics are stuck in the name of obsolete platforms, consoles.

They don't need a remake, just an HD release for PC/Steam like "Okami", "Devil May Cry HD Collection" or "Onimusha Warlords".

Which version of Final Fight has Damnd doing an animated laugh on the TV? Its driving me nuts.

Hello all I'm trying to find if there are any Capcom Bars/Cafes still in Tokyo. i know there was a Resident Evil Themed bar but I think it closed down and there is still a Monster Hunter Themed one "Hunters Bar". Are there any still open out there like a Capcom Bar where they had food and drink from the different series? or any game bars people would like to recommend please list them. I'm going to Tokyo soon and would love to have them on my list.

Nintendo has Mario Saga has Sonic Xbox has Chief

Pretty much every major game publisher has their mascot or at least mascot franchise. But when I thought about it Capcom has so many games that are popular to even non-gamers, that I genuinely can’t think which or who would be considered their mascot.

So, what’s the opinion? What character or franchise of Capcom deserves to be their mascot?

Me personally, I’m saying Street Fighter/ Ryu. But that might be my FGC bias

I came up with a plot for the new DMC, or not really.

I think it turned out really cool.

In it, I created the story of the dark knight of sparda. The journey of becoming him.

In this one I tried to answer the main questions :

1)Why are there no gods?

2) How to get a huge power and what is its price?

3)And can the devil cry after all?

There will be a lot of references to scriptures and commandments.

Would you be interested in reading something like this?

Maybe Capcom will notice and be interested too?

Please make audible cues like banter or something to let us know our pawns are infected. I know you plan on increasing the eye glow but I’m so color blind, I don’t think that would help. For me to see it, it would have to look like Homelander is about burn through someone.
