yeah
Hi! my boyfriend loves Sonic, and he’s gotten me into it too lol. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get actually cool merch online? I want to get him something cool for valentines.
Thank you all!!
I only got three endings and I got the True Story, anyone know how this could have happened?
Does anyone know how to get more rings after completing Sonic’s story in Sonic 06? I bought every gem, now I’m just missing the green gem but when I play the act trials I’m not able to get more rings.
I call him innocent sonic
Been playing Sonic Colors Ultimate, and I gotta say: I'm finding a lot more frustration with it than enjoyment. I know the original is perferred to the remaster, but I'm finding most of my issues are core design philosophies than anything remaster related. The jump arc is floaty and unpredictable for me, the double jump feels pointless at best and exacerbates the floatiness issue when it is necessary. I end up in so many situations where I need to boost but haven't been given any white wisps the entire level, and the ground pound feels like it stops me dead in my tracks.
I probably didn't do myself any favors by playing this RIGHT after replaying Sonic Adventure 2 for the first time since I was six, but I have played Forces, and suprisingly enjoyed it. Hot take, I think it's better than people give it credit for, but it was the first sonic game I played since Secret Rings. This got me thinking about what I think the most intuitive set for Sonic would be that combines as much of the Adventure era with the Boost era as possible, (buttons in Switch configuration) I think what I'd like would be:
B/Bottom: Jump/Airdash/Homing attack. Just like Sonic Adventure 2. Maybe there could be an equipable item that swaps this for a double jump if you want it (Amy's Hammer would be funny).
A/Right: Peelout/Boost. Here me out on this. When he's out of Boost Gauge, Sonic should be able to charge up for a couple seconds, and then release for a Super Peelout like from Sonic CD. This would end up being a bit slower at initial speed than a true boost, but it would only be available when you have no boost gauge, and it wouldn't do damage like a boost. This could easily also be an item.
Y/Left: Spindash/Bounce. When you're on the ground, this would do a Spindash. It would be significantly slower than a boost and a little slower than a Peelout, but it would have the trade off of dealing damage. Like less maneuverability than being on your feet too. When in the air, though, it would have sonic bounce as if having the Bounce Bracelet from Sonic Adventure 2. This would serve the same purpose as the ground pound without stopping you dead like the Colors ground pound. This could also be a slide like in colors of need be.
X/Top: reactionary stuff. Activating Wisp powers/gimmicks, and activating Super Sonic. Whatever the game requires. Light Dash maybe?
Left and Right bumpers: Quickstep. NEVER lock the player into quick step, those are my least favorite sections in new sonic games. I stopped playing temple run ages ago, I don't wanna play it now. I do see some validity to it though. These could also be a drift if held.
Right Trigger: lock on. Dear God let me lock onto enemies myself. This is an issue I had even with Sonic Adventure 2, but Sonic Colors has been terrible for this, especially. I was in the Starlight Carnival level last night where it's just a straight climb up with Hover, and I got stuck at a portion where it kept locking onto an enemy below me to homing attack and I couldn't double jump upward, and it kept sending me down to that enemy. In Adventure 2, I would try to string together attacks and it just wouldn't work. Infuriating. Give us a lock on.
Left trigger: ?????
Talking about Sonic 1/2/3&K/CD. I just started Sonic 1, I know they have a different gameplay because of their unique abilities, but aside from that, does it change anything to the story ? New scenes or something worth doing another run with them
Is it apart of the dlc upgrade or is it able to be unlocked through the chests?? Please help D:
Do not judge the drawing too much, as this is my first time drawing Mecha Sonic MkII. I'm trying to learn how to draw the many robots of Sonic the Hedgehog. In my opinion, I think it came out great.
Did you guys know that the flicky's that appears in sonic media is from a other game for the Sega mega drive called [flicky]
Is sonic x shadow generations (both stories) playable with keyboard and mouse? I need to know it before I buy it because i don't have a controller btw i mean sonic and shadow campaign with both stories
Thats good in my opinion, we already have gotten them back to back with Sonic 2/3. I’m sure they doing this because they wanna over use it and bore the form out. I do believe they should take a break from using the super form in the upcoming movie but introduce a newer form in the movie after the one coming up
I know some of you heavily disagree with introducing A new form because you don’t want A DBZ copy. This could work if metal metal sonic is the main villain in the next installment, if metal sonic indeed the main villain they should make Sonic the hedgehog 4 in 2 parts.
I know a lot of people will definitely disagree with this which I understand because the next movie is already coming out in 2027 and if they do A part 2 of Sonic the hedgehog 4 no telling how long we would have to wait for a release. I know a lot of you don’t wanna wait so long so see the whole story unfold which is understandable
Metal Sonic has a lot of back catalogue now 2 parts can definitely work in his favor because they easily do A heroes route, or just introduce Base metal Sonic for first part and Neo for part 2
A lot can be done- We can have Metal Sonic by himself in part 1 and the other mecha Sonic in part 2.. Have them fuse and introduce A fusion form for Sonic and shadow in part 2??
lol yes I know I’m coming up with crazy ideas but even if those idea don’t come… I just want metal Sonic to have 2 parts. He just so cool and there’s a lot they can do with him now
Just having one movie about him is good but then would’ve have to see how to fit everything in a 2 hour file vs 2 parts
I feel ive been having a hard time playing Sonic x Shadow generations on my switch. On the Shadow side (i havent played Sonic gen yet) , it seems i cant get him to stay straight. And if i move my stick just a bit he moves way too far which messes me up while speeding. I only use my pro controller when i play the game, im not sure what the issue is? Is it the game, the controller or do i just suck?😅 (which id be willing to admit cause i do suck lol)
I've been trying to go through every sonic game lately, and with that has lead me obviously to Heroes. So far I've completed Team Rose and Team Sonic's playthroughs and am just lukewarm on the game. At this point in my playthrough I haven't collected any of the Chaos Emeralds, anf am unsure if it's worth the effort of going through to get them to unlock the last story
