so i currently have the fcs t16000m hotas and i want to buy a new one, i fly most planes from ga to military, so something like the airbus captain pack isn’t what im looking for, around £200 maybe £250 at a stretch
My X52 stick is finally dying after a few years of use. Gotta set the deadzone all the way to prevent myself from spinning in Elite Dangerous, and occasionally the buttons don't work, and there's other issues. I wanna get a VKB stick, but I am not flush enough to get it and the omni at the same time.
So can I use the throttle alone without the X52 stick, or am I SOL?
Got my answer. For future people who might be searching this, the answer is yes, you can use the X52 thrust standalone! Go get you that way better stick.
Hi folks,
I purchased a used set of Thrustmaster TPR pedals that need some love.
I can get the necessary parts from TM to fix the issue, but I'm having to order a left foot brake sensor assembly just for the little cream coloured plastic retention sleeve for the ball joint. That part is 32 euro.
Does anyone have a source for that little piece? I swear this is a .02 piece of plastic, that TM will not source outside of ordering the whole assembly.
If not the sleeve, what about a replacement for the socket that doesn't need a sleeve, or comes with its own that receives the same diameter ball?
I have a problem trying to connect my Kosmoshima stick with GFIV base to my PC. I connect the base to mk 3 blackbox but the light near the red button has not light and the stick is not appearing in VK device config tool.
hello all, happy new years!

Shure SM7B - Used less that a year, original box and accessories. Comes with the unused big windscreen/popfilter.

Title. I want to add something like this for realism, but I didn’t find anything related to removing the stick from the base.
I'm currently trying to create profiles for using my X45 on warthunder and DCS and although the software works out of the box in windows 11, I'm running into an issue with using the 3 modes available.
I'm able to switch between the modes using the slider on the throttle and the softwares identifies it, but somehow, if I program s key bind for a button in mode 1, I'm not able to use the button as an unprogramed button on modes 2 and 3, even if I set the button as unprogramed instead of "fallback" on the software.
To make it clearer, if a button is bound to keyboard "X" key in mode 1, it'll work as "X" in all other modes.
Has anyone had this same issue?
Read through the guides but I'm still a bit lost on what to get. I'm buying the HOTAS for my uncle who is looking to do DCS and fly fighter planes.
He was initially going to buy the Warthog but after reading up on it here seems like it's overpriced and not recommend anymore.
Most people are now recommending the WinWing base + stick (?), but my uncle also wants the pedals - I couldn't find a recommendation on that one.
The other recommendation I'm seeing is VKB, but I can't tell which products from their lineup is best for what my uncle wants.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?
His budget is around $500+ for all 3 (base + joystick + pedals), but I can convince him to increase it if the value proposition is there. (eg. longer durability)
Thanks for any help!
So I got the X56 (from logitech not saitek) a while ago and was trying to find the software for it as I know it exists. The only problem I have is that I cant find it for Windows 11. Does anyone know how to get it on Windows 11 or is it just that there is no version for Windows 11?
Not sure if this has been posted yet but I just saw this and figured I'd share. It's a trigger mod that allows you to have a bypass on the 2 stage trigger. Meaning normally when fully depressed the trigger fires stages 1 & 2. This mod allows you to fire the stages independently or or simultaneously. Hey everyone!
I’m currently using the TB Velocity One, but I’m looking to invest in something a bit more high-quality for my flight sim setup. I primarily do a lot of general aviation flying in MSFS 24.
I’m planning to get the Honeycomb Bravo, but I’m debating between pairing it with the Alpha yoke or going with a side stick, specifically the VKB Gladiator. If I go the side stick route, I’m looking for something a with a little heft and quality feel to it (e.g., not incredibly impressed by the TM Airbus side stick).
The Alpha looks fantastic, and it feels like a solid choice for a yoke given the great reviews I’ve seen. On the other hand, I also like the idea of using the Bravo and VKB mounted to my desk, which could help clear up some space since my desk also doubles as a work setup.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and opinions:
Thanks in advance for your advice and feedback!
I'm balling on a budget so like, 100 tops (I don't mind buying used), but I'm at least looking for something with more bindable options than my ps5 duelsense controller.
I recently purchased a Maxflightstick Oh-58D collective and cyclic on a self supporting stand. My question is are maxflightstick products compatible with MFD’s, or the little control boxes that Vipril sells. I plan on either playing DCS on VR and games like MSFS24 without VR so it’d be nice to have. I’m new to this simulator.
Finally got this setup for palying Star Citizen, Elite and Mechwarrior. Played Saitek X52 around 10 years ago and now I'm back.
Can someone explain to me in plain terms what kind of detents come with this throttle? I fly DCS and would like to have a detent at idle and one for afterburner. Possible?
Thanks
I read somewhere (couldn't find it now) that is a good practice to have one extra lower-capacity-GPU installed in your system to be used with only MFD and additional screens (like simulating Gauges or warning panels). Doing this will also add additional HDMI or DP connections to be used with these screens.
Does anyone here have tried it? I have an 4070 TI connected to two ultra wide 34' screens and was thinking about getting an 1060 or 3050 to be used for the 3 MFD screens and for two 5 inches screens that I use to show RWR and the Central gauges on F-16
Regards
I've been using the CH products fighterstick and throttle for some time now and decided to upgrade ti the Orion 2 F16 stick and F15EX throttle. I don't like the spring strength of the stick but also don't want to shell out $50 for the spring, cam and damper set when all I want are the light springs. Does anyone know where I could source them from separately or a third party spring that would fit with a lower force?

I updated my setup with a new VKB Hotas. Only thing missing are the pedals which I'll be ordering soon.
I’ve recently purchased the X56 HOTAS, and the stick works really good, but the throttle is good and all but it’s either 0% throttle or 100% there is no 30%, or 70% throttle. I haven’t really tested this in MSFS 24, but it does this a lot in war thunder.
Any solutions?
Brief background: had dual alpha primes, right stick had Cosmo no-centre cams in X and Y (pitch+yaw). Sold when I moved, now looking at another setup.
Looking at Gunfighter MKIV and see they have a Cosmo cam but only with a soft or hard centre option. I only play space SIM and It's an impossible question but I'm just wondering if I'm going to miss the feel of how the virpils were.
Mostly concerned about losing accuracy due to centre bump.
The Alphas were a bit big for me, I couldn't reach the pinky button without shifting my hand down, and I think the modern combat grip may be a bit smaller. I don't think I want dual SCG as id miss a few features.
So plan was MCG right and the gladiator omni space Wotsit for the left. Although that line of thinking is mainly influenced by the fact I have an opportunity to get a second-hand monster tech chair mount, which happens to have adaptors for both of those bases.
So long story short i picked up a brand new x56 for 100 bucks and picked up the stand for 20 bucks. I am now looking for new hardware and what size counter sunk machine screws do i need? Also any other recommended items. I think I did pretty good price wise haa.
I've been using the latest version of opentrack as my headtracker for DCS and War Thunder. However, I've been getting very low fps (15-20) which has partially ruined the immersion. I have tried adjusting camera and tracker settings but I can never get more than 20fps. I'm using a Saylas 2K webcam which can reach up to 60fps. Any help would be appreciated.
Here are my settings:
I prefer my h.o.t.a.s on my desk, but hated that they move around. Solved by designing and 3D printing my own desktop mounts. Ignore the mess.
I got a new VKB Gladiator, there are two connectors, both guard a Stick label, one always tells the truth, the other always lies.
I wanna get a flight stick for dcs which is versatile so i can use the russian planes and western planes and the jf17 etc so should i get the vkb gladiator premieum or the WINWING Orion2 ViperAce EX Joystick Combo(With Shaker Kit), whats better and i want something smooth and that moves to the sides more from the center
Hi everyone - super excited to be apart of this community. I used to fly a ton of FSX back in the day, and did a little DCS recently on my very old Saitek X55 and decided I'm going to get back into Flight Sims, full force. (Looking to fly on DCS and GA/Airliners on FS2024).
I'm about to order a WinWing Orion 2 (F16 Joystick and StrikeAce Throttle), as well as a Tobii Eye tracker (unless there are better options?)
I'm still looking for recommendations on Rudder pedals (with toe brakes). What do you recommend? Hoping to stay in the $200-400 range for the pedals.
Side question: I will be using my office chair. Will it spin as I use the rudder pedals (my chair does not lock)?
