I am 3D printing an extension for my TM Warthog. Could somebody point me to the correct connectors to build the wire extension? I have no problem soldering the connectors...just need to make sure I have the correct parts.
I ordered their rudders (damper model) from their website. I noticed that alot of people have 4 metal stabilizing bars/feet on theirs. I got the version with the metal baseplate, was i supposed to also get those 4 bars/feet? I also did not receive the bolts that are needing to fasten the base to the baseplate.
Hello, I am getting a center mount for my chair and I currently have the WarBrd base and Mongoos stick. I was wondering if I should get an extension for my grip if so which extension would be the best. Thank you in advance!
Hey everybody! My thrustmaster base finally gave out after many good years of use. I bit the bullet and bought a Virpil Warbrd-D base. It arrived today after saying it was back ordered for 2-4 weeks and I ordered it Tuesday lol, guess I’m lucky. Anyway, I recieved it and unfortunately had to go into work, but before I went into work, I threw my TM warthog grip onto it and MAN, what a HUGE difference between this and what I had been using. I didn’t realize how much better a joystick could feel lmao. Anyway, for those of you that use the warbrd base with a TM grip, what settings do you prefer for the base? I have seen some recommending to use the heaviest springs.
I also fly both fixed wing and rotor craft, and I LOVE the fact that I can switch between having the joystick self center, or turn it into a dead stick for rotorcraft. I have a 10cm extension that I used with the TM base for added precision during rotorcraft flights, but I’m wondering if it is even necessary since the Virpil feels 100x smoother and precise with no stiction. Do any of you utilize an extension with this base?
Lastly, I noticed that without the extension, and the grip plugged directly into the base, that there was a very minuscule twist to the stick, like half of a centimeter, not much, but still, is that normal?

I'm at the end of my sanity with this problem. For some reason my pc refuses to see my winwing joystick. Sometimes it sees it and sometimes it simply refuses. Alot of time if I start removing usb devices from either the powered usb hub or other usb ports completely separate it we reappear. I figured this meant low power. So I bought a 90w usb powered hub...and that worked for 2 months and now it's happening again. Razer seems to be apart of this some how as when I unplug the razer keyboard it usually fixes it...but sometimes it's the mouse that fixes it. Both of which I can't actually play dcs with out. And when I say won't detect I mean in the set up usb controller window. It's not there, then it is. This happened with my orion1 and now my orion 2. The usb port is getting 5.2v. Maybe hotas need more? Anybody have any insight please let me know. I'm so frustrated with this.
Hey guys, I could use some help with deadzones and drag on TrackIR.
I’ve been playing around with TrackIR for a little while, and I haven’t been able to configure it exactly the way I want for flying. I’d like to configure TrackIR so that the drag affected areas form more of a circle or a box than a cross.
Let me try to explain what I mean by that. I like having a bit of drag when I look straight ahead, and it’s pretty easy to accomplish this using the curves on the yaw/pitch axes. However it’s not just sticky around the center, it’s the entire axis. So when I’m not looking ahead but I cross one of those axes (for example, trying to track something crossing high above my nose), I’m experiencing some of that drag that enables the center deadzone, only it’s getting in the way a little bit. I'm trying to see if there's a way I can smooth this out.
Is there a solution to this problem? Is there a way I can reduce yaw drag outside of pitch +/-10deg, change the yaw/pitch axes to a radial coordinate system, or something along those lines?
Hey all, looking to buy a monstertech setup and the chairs that fit inside the rig are 100% way overpriced (the rig as a whole kinda is too haha). I was curious if anyone else using monstertech had a good chair substitute that could be mounted to the baseplate?
Hey everyone. I own a CH Pro Throttle paired with VKB Gladiator NXT for quite a while to play DCS and MSFS. It still works well with minor maintenance but I really don't like the feeling of the throttle. Tried to modify it to increase the resistance but didn't like it either. I want to upgrade it with a better throttle. I wish I could consider Virpil, VKB or Winwing but due to customs limitations on where I live I can only upgrade it with TWCS. Also I have a 3D printer so I can print the slider mod for it.
My question is would switching to TWCS throttle with slider mod would give me an upgraded feel over CH Pro Throttle or would it feel about the same.
Hey yall. Playing Elite Dangerous as my main game. Bought a pair of VKB nxt right stick and left omni throttle. Love them so far. I'm trying to figure out a good way to use the omnithrottle as a true throttle. Initially I used the throttle axis range setting which required me to hold throttle forward 100% to get 100% thrust etc. I didn't want to hold the throttle the entire time I'm flying. So I started playing with it- I removed the spring thinking the friction would be enough to hold the throttle in place while flying. Well, it's not. If I went over ~75% throttle the stick would fall forward. Same with pulling it backwards as well. So I put the spring back in and I'm just using "up" on the stick to increase throttle and down to decrease which works fine to be honest. However there's a massive deadzone when using the stick axii like a "button" if that makes sense. Any way to reduce this deadzone? The cfg program is basically Japanese to me and I'm unsure how to cut the deadzone back at all.
Thanks!
Accidentally won an eBay auction for $0.99 the joystick is broken off. All the lights and buttons work and the stick doesn't have any obvious drift. I just plastic welded it but what are the chances it holds? I also bought a Logitech x52 set but after 9 days, the seller still hasn't shipped after contacting them so I'm hoping this fix is good enough to play a little bit of low energy Elite Dangerous till I can find a good deal.

I just bought a new x56 hotas and what problem should i expect in time and what can i do to repair them if needed?
I just bought the Logitech X56 and use it for Elite Dangerous. Great setup so far, but one problem. For those who don’t know in Elite Dangerous after boosting, your ship will reverse thrust the slow you down back to your set speed. If you max out your throttle then your ship will naturally slow back down to non-boost max speed. It is very difficult to get my throttle all the way to exactly 100%, it stays around 4-7/1024 when looking at input values. I can sometimes get there if I push hard enough, but it hardly ever stays and is just too much for me. I’d like to be able to lower the max throttle threshold so it’s just before I hit physical 100%, but don’t know how to do that. Any other solutions are great too.
BTW yes I’ve tried calibrating it and using axis modification tools in the X56 software. Nothing I’ve done works.
Hey y’all.
After buying a honeycomb Alpha and Bravo and having nothing but issues with them, I returned them and am now looking at a HOTAS. The VKB gladiator NXT seems pretty awesome and has gotten very good reviews. On the other hand, the Virpil Constellation alpha seems pretty sweet too and I prefer the design over the VKB, but I haven’t seen as many reviews of it (yes I already know I need to buy a base for it). Which would you guys recommend for a flight sim?
Also, do you guys have any good throttle recommendations? I was looking at the Virpil CM3 until I saw a few reviews that pretty much fully turned me away from it.
Any guidance would be much appreciated!
Has anyone here bought VKBs from aliexpress and chosen the standard shipping option that does not have tracking? If so what was your experience?
Selling some equipment, I am the original owner of the items being sold and everything works as it should, I tested everything on VKB's software to double check operation of all switches and buttons. All the cables and pieces should be included.

I am planning on buying a vkb gladiator NXT for my left hand and probably a throttle in the future. I like the look of the GNX THQ and I was thinking if it is possible to buy the add on WW2 grip and turn it 180 degrees. Would that be possible or is the mounting system designed in a way that makes it impossible? I see the 2 buttons that would be on my palm if I flipped it but that's not a problem.

If that won't work I will probably 3d print split throttle handles or save up for the gladiator omni throttle even later
this is my set up that I made recently for space stuff and I need people to roast me and don't hold back so I can figure out what I need to do
Just please don't actually start harassing me
Has anyone ever made their own switch board? I stumbled across a video on it today and it looks fairly simple, straightforward, and inexpensive. I was thinking of giving it a shot to fill in some dead space in my setup.
I’m setting up my simpit and going through my junk I found /both/ thrustmaster’s t.flight hotas x and hori’s hotas ps. My pc is in parts now so I can’t test… but just picking them up the tm feels better. Hori’s product looks and feels… chunky. Just wondering what your take on these products. Thanks!
