I realized the hawken xbox community is very small, often playing with the same players you played the day before, but there's a few players (mainly the top 8 pvp) one in particular named Jon jones4376 who at first seem to be a top notch above the rest. Going crazy hard on the battlefront confronting the entire enemy squad and wiping them out without much effort. At first I thought.. oh he got G2 mech that most be the reason. NO. It's like his mech is on Crack, defense and offense are easily 3 times more than any other G2, and he doesn't seem to have weapon cool down firing throughout the entire game without stopping. Makes the game unplayable to be honest. Every game he plays ends up being 30/2 or similar. Really takes the fun of the game. And it's a shame because when there is no (SPECIAL PLAYERS) on that match the game is so much more extremely fun when there is actual competition.
this i a bit weard but ye i cant by mech, it wont let me. i am also playing hawakining.
Going through some old stuff and this shirt is from back when Hawken was just about to release on PC. Man I miss that game.
Can you play Hawken on an ASUS Rog Ally? • I normally play on my Xbox One S
I have it on PC/Xbox and PSN I play mostly on PC. How about you?
Also, how do you earn those orange points?
Hawakening is an awesome ‘hawken pvp’ experience i was missing for all those years, it’s as vanilla as it can get and the whole process of downloading installing and logging to play went unusually smooth for me. Thank you team for your hardwork, thanks god it didn’t go to waste.
Hawakening.com sign up and follow instructions.
Any alternative download options or torrent for the hawakening client? Mega.nz -the link on their site barely makes it to ~400mb and then freezes and has to restart.
Hey everybody, i've been wanting to back to hawken on pc, but i've been sceptical of third party software. How safe is it? Has anybody had any problem with malware while playing the game?
I get a "User not found" error when trying to login. These are the same credentials I just used to log into the Hawkening website so I know they are correct. Ideas? Thanks
I have not been able to play for over a week. Just says connecting
Just got the all mechs bundle but every time it installs it deletes the main game. Is there any fix for this?
Greetings Pilots.
We're making good progress on the Hawakening multiplayer revival!

I played Hawken for a few months back in like 2017 or 2018. Started playing again recently for a few weeks now and am enjoying the game so far but have some questions. I've been trying to get more solid kills and dying less but maybe I'm being too impatient sometimes for better results but I see a lot of the more experienced players just run in and basically take out 4 mechs almost consecutively without taking a hit. Some of them move so fast! I'm trying to move the same but can't seem to find a good balance of speed/maneuvering and accuracy. For mechs I usually go between G2 Assault, G2 Predator but have a nief I'm trying to get better with and just got the Sharpshooter because I feel like that would be a good one to be versed with also. I've got the sensitivity set about where I feel comfy and really am trying to better my technique. Any suggestion is accepted.
So yeah… we need players.
I used to play this in 2016, I come back and it’s dead. Understandable why, however, my little gamer heart NEEDS these TDM matches.

Pls and thank you ❤️
So...bad news first...it may end up being a gacha game of sorts, and the controls might need a touch of polish, but otherwise, the hope burns alive once again - at least for me.
I just received my playtest invite last night and played my first few hours of tutorial and early mission...and by all the deities old and new, the combat and pacing is exactly the style to scratch my Hawken / Anthem itch.
Personally, the thing that took me from interested to sold is the support mecha. The ability for the healer to swap between ally support and dealing some enemy damage but not both at the same time reminds me so much of the healer mech in Hawken that as long as this game is even half decent, I'm am so in.
Fair chance it will get a little fanservice-y as it is by Seasun who does Snowbreak, but so far I didn't see anything terribly egregious outside of tight space suits lol
The graphics and detail on the mechs are very Gundam-esque and a little more stylized than the grit of hawken, but, if you're anything like me then that's not a deal breaker hah
I've been getting onto the PS version lately and one thing is bothering me. A guy who plays every day is actively cheating and I don't know how. I'd assume a game this dead wouldn't have that. But as a SS main, and a Kerby secondary, I know firsthand when you nail a sabot on an A class, it's at least half their health. But this guy runs around as berserker and infiltrator while taking 4 direct sabot hits to kill. I am constantly putting up 2 to 1 damage and not getting kills as he can just run away. He also seems to have all the attachments he wants, dodged are max distance, heals after a time out of combat, can boost indefinitely, like he's got all the space in the world to just add on all the attachments.
He's a good pilot too, can't take that away from him, but why in the world do people feel the need to play like that?
I haven’t tried to play Hawken since 2016
I came back…
What happened!!!!??
This was amazing and the “reborn” version is nothing compared to the original.
Hey we have been trying to play online today been sitting in the lobby for 3 hours with no one to join the lobby to be able to play. To whoever is able to and does join. Thank you much appreciated for the support 🥹
Yo! hey everyone it's UNSC JUMPER, we have a team of 3 inexperienced players but love the game. The lobby is dead does anyone want to jump on and kill each other in mechs? Thanks. Pvp matchmaking won't find any players
I been playing the game for a couple weeks and I want to purchase the assault mech to kinda start getting more into tdm instead of co-op. I feel like I gotta get better in general of course but I want a good competent build to compete with rather than winging it with my best judgement. Help?
Hey ive reinstalled hawken on ps5 havnt played since it was on pc just wondering do many people still play it or is there a private server on pc? Its such an amazing game honestly way before its time especially with combat ty:)
Hey I'm new to the game so sorry for the stupid question. I just bought the Reaper Mech. I wanted to buy the EMP III for that but it's locked and it won't let me purchase. How can I buy them?
A link to my original "How to make a successful Co-Op HAWKEN game from 4 months ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/HawkenReborn/comments/1b0e881/how_to_make_a_successful_cooporiented_hawken/
When I originally started writing this thread, it was fresh off of playing it after the four month hiatus I was away. I was originally going to title it two steps forward, two steps back, but the more I worked on the list of pros and cons, the more I realized nothing that has been changed is actually a definitive "Pro" to the game. So far it appears as though only a singular suggestion was taken from the original thread.
So in the four months that it's been, I do want to congratulate the dev team on the speedy progress they've made thusfar. There are enough changes that warrant acknowledgement that they are, in fact, actively working on this and regularly implementing changes, whether good or bad.
Without further ado:
Pros:
-They (at least it appears to be the case) finally gave you all three mech classes to try out from the start. This needs confirmation, as I just noticed I had an extra Hornet and Apex in my hangar on top of the one I already had.
-New content has been added, including new mech classes: one additional of each size.
Neutral:
-Objectives are now much more direct and shorter, which is both a good and bad thing. It means the area difficulty is now much faster to rise, which could be overwhelming to new players, but it also means you don't need to go trapesing across the map just to clear one objective for a small gain.
-There do appear to be some balance changes with mech ratings, as far as I can tell.
-Objectives no longer have any dialog. I assume this is because they're reworking the story, but as it stands, not having this just makes the objectives feel bland. I'm adding this to neutral instead of cons, because I know this is likely just a placeholder change, and am not trying to be too overly critical while they try this out.
Cons:
-Objectives are now a clusterfuck of multiple things stacked on top of each other in one area, which bloats the UI with a bunch of unnecessary information all at once. Multiple objectives, chests, etc all within 250m of each other did not strike me as a positive as I was playing through it. Less chests and objectives spread out a little more with greater rewards, instead of stacking multiple chests with smaller rewards, would be the better option.
-I remember before I stopped playing last time talk of them adding a timer to the patrol mode. This is just as arbitrary and pointless as it sounded when it was announced. It changes nothing, except to limit just how much you can do in a single sortie. The game already had this. It was called scaling difficulty. It didn't also need yet another arbitrary thing to make players go back to the hub.
-Nothing about the looter shooter mechanics have changed. Everything is just as grindy as it was before, particularly with the process of gaining currency, which has always been the biggest offender. Salvage seems to be easier to acquire at least (or at least that's how it appeared), but that means nothing when you still have to go out multiple times just to be able to afford one upgrade of the multiple required to raise your tier.
-Weapons now seem to be limited to specific mechs, which just railroads people into even more limited choice. This is more like OG Hawken, but I don't remember anyone from the old days jumping for joy that this was ever a thing. Especially when considering this game is PvE focused, it just doesn't make sense.
-They are still selling fully made weapons and mechs in the store, instead of just cosmetics.
