Just gotta open the app and it’s there
Let me start by saying that I do not believe this is possible. Not because an aggressive Bam (with a more reliable 3pt shot) and this version of Herro can be the n2 and n3 options on a contending team, but because I dont believe we have enough assets to trade for that n1 options.
But I may be wrong (and hope I am) and am willing to change my mind.
Which realistic move could the heat make to get a third player for the Herro + Bam build.
And I mean moves that make us contenders, not lateral moves like the trdae for Rozier.
Ideally it would be players between Tyler's and Bam's age, that would help us have a deep playoff run and inone or two years be actual contenders.
I dont think we have assets for a top level star, but for example adding a stretch big (like Myles Turner) + a scorer like BI would be a good move?
Are there better options tha BI that the heat can get?
I want to hear your thoughs and ideas on how this team can build a contender around Bam and Tyler
This is a long shot but what would be the path for the Miami Heat to get ahold of Anthony Davis?
What scenario would the Lakers have to be in and what can the Heat do to get him in the front court with Bam?
Yesterday I made a post speaking about how our window is closed and almost everyone seems to agree with it. So now my question is, what is the move now?
The smartest move, and the best one for the long term success of this team, is to blow it up.
Moving Jimmy, Rozier and Duncan will not bring enough assets that we could package for another player who would make us contenders while keeping both Tyler and Bam.
So, should we move Tyler? move Bam? Both?
Blowing it up before this season ends makes no sense, if we end up being a lottery team this year we would lose 2 unprotected FRP (our 2025 pick we owe to OKC would not convey, so they would get our unprotected 2026 frp).
I would move Jimmy before the trade deadline (we can't risk he opts into his contract) , and give the young guys minutes alongside Bam and Herro, I believe it would be enough to get in the play in (there is no point on being a lottery team this year)
After the season is over, move Duncan and Rozier, both are bad contracts, but they may be valuable to some team as expiring contracts next year. Still I would not epect much from any of this trade. And we should definetly not include picks so other teams take on this contracts (as we did with the Lowry-Rozier trade).
I would also move Bam, I get he is the face of the franchise but with the current team we are not a contender and he can't wait until our young guys fully develop. He is still 27 and on his prime (his game does not show that th, but I believe he can go back to his old self) but his game wont age well as is is based on his athleticism (unless he develops a reliable 3pt shooter and focuses on being a 3 & D guy). A Bam trade would bring a decent amount of pics that would help us build a young core + we would end up being a lottery team which would allow us to have high draft picks.
Next season I would just pay the young guys and hope Tyler increases his value, then the FO can decide if they want to move on from him to continue getting assets or build around him and find a solid number 1 too play alongside him.
What do yall think the Heat should do?
A friend of mine back in 2022 brought this snapback from miami https://files.fm/u/5hecg3pj8b , unfortunately i lost it and since then I’ve been looking for it everywhere on the internet but it seems impossible to even find a picture on google :( 60 pages on ebay, found every possible hat the heat company produced but this one. Any idea or site where i could check? thank you for helping me

I think many of us are wondering why Kel’el Ware is not playing?
I clearly remember thinking during the draft why didn't we draft Dalton Knetch because his college highlights were way more impressive than Ware. And especially after watching a few Knetch 30 points explosion, I became enraged.
But I think we made the right choice with Ware. I think the reason why Spo does not playing Ware is because there are moments where he shows Whiteside-like tendencies. We all remember the Whiteside days. It was very infuriating to watch. It is true at some point during the season, I wanted to see Ware because Thomas Bryant is terrible. Furthermore, we desperately needed more rebounds, we can't be relying on K-Love as backup all the time.
The Lakers game solidified why Ware might not be ready yet. Knetch’s defense was so bad that, if I were a Lakers fan, I’d be banging my head against the table (and yes, I know the entire Lakers defense was atrocious that night).
Developing Ware’s defensive fundamentals is crucial. If done right, he has the potential to be better than Derrick Lively, especially with his ability to shoot from the outside.
Now, the bigger question: why isn’t Niko playing?
Yes, Niko struggles with rebounding, which is frustrating given that we’re already one of the league’s worst rebounding teams. It’s even worse when K-Love outrebounds him in fewer minutes. But the issue with K-Love is that he becomes a massive liability against smart teams that exploit mismatches—remember the Celtics series last year? K-Love was so unplayable.
At his best, Niko is a better defender than Jaime, but his occasional lapses in focus can hurt the team. Even so, Niko needs legit minutes to learn and grow. Criticize him privately for his lack of rebounding or defensive lapses if you have to, but those moments aren’t nearly as egregious as Whiteside-like lapses. Honestly, Rozier is more absent-minded on the court than Niko.
We’ll need Niko against the better teams. I’m a believer—he has the highest ceiling on the team in terms of potential. But he won’t reach it unless we give him the chance to play.
I know we're already 20 games into the season but how do we feel about the new arena lighting? Although it sucked to see empty seats, i kinda do miss seeing the crowd when they were full.
Also wondering how the arenas will look come playoffs, i dont want the flood of white shirts to be hidden in the dark.
Was curious about other heat fans' thoughts
Proud heat fan, proud Duncan Stan. Tyler has become our dynamic scorer. Tonight’s win is what this team is. LETS GO HEAT!
I don't know about yall but the most aggravating thing about the Dame fiasco was Portland and other fans deluding themselves that Herro was just a scrub not worth a pick or 2 solely because they knew Dame would improve the squad.
Fast forward a couple seasons and Herro a bonafide all-star. The dude Portland fans were clamoring over saying he was their :next star", Simons is averaging a whopping 16ppg on 40%FG. On top that Herro is undoubtedly a far far far better contract than Mr 54m 36 yr old Dame himself at this present moment.
Kudos to Herro for continuously improving and uplifting his game
Even though I know this is a lapse in time. I will enjoy this game no matter how much I know they will for sure let me down in the near future.
I obviously don't like the idea. But I believe Pat would do it for the narrative and the nostalgia
