Watch and listen for yourself. That squeal by OO when he gets blocked at the end of the game is an indicator of how soft we are around the rim on the offensive end.
#WhereisLarryNanceJr
Real question here - why are the Hawks a bottom 5 defense? I agree that Trae is trying harder on defense and just kinda screwed because of his size. But with Dyson (LOVE that pickup), length on the wings, athleticism with Jalen, and CC/OO on the court at all times, I'm having a hard time figuring out why they're sooooo bad. Any ideas? Is it coaching? Just youth?
Seems that OO is just a good backup big and likely won't ever be anything more at this point. But I love that we likely have a 2-4 of the future already locked in with DD, ZR, and JJ.
East is weak this year, can we PLEASE GET HEALTHY.
He drives me crazy sometimes but it seems
I think we should find a new center such as Deandre Ayton
"But the rebounds" 🙄

Do you guys think OO is a valuable part of our future? I just don't see too much improvement from him in any kind of category. I think he's switchable but too slow to put on fast guards and a little too undersized to put on big centers. His rebounding is below average and he's kind of soft going up in the paint.

Still a small sample size as we're early into the season and have dealt with numerous injuries, but not really looking good so far. We basically have the #16 ranked offense and #26 ranked defense. We can take solace in the fact we're only 4-5 and the east as a whole has been pretty bad so far though
I seen the stat that we were one of the worst or the worst team at guarding the 3, and that definitely passes the eye test. Watching the knicks game I actually felt safer when they drove into the paint rather then took a 3. If we guarded the 3 point line literally any percent better I swear we would’ve beat the Knicks by double digits.
But also it seems players chuck up the most ridiculous 3s against us. Like Jordan Poole and Kuzma were slinging pull up 3s in transition and knocking them down like it was nothing. Everytime I see a 3 ball go up against us I already assume it’s going in, no matter how poor the shooter has been in other games.
Is it the gameplan? Or the personal? Or have we just been very unlucky? We definitely can’t keep giving up 3s at the clip we are.
Why is Larry Nance not getting minutes? He played well against New Orleans but zero minutes last two games.
This is probably a long shot, but is there any chance there's someone who attended last night's game against the Knicks and got video of the Welcome/Birthday shout-outs? My group left our seats to grab food during halftime and completely missed it. I'd rather not say our group name, but if you have any segment of the announcements or the entire thing, I would really appreciate it!
The other night when we were playing the pelicans and again last night, I thought to myself about how much more enjoyable watching the hawks this season has been than last (minus the zombie hawks games). Ik it’s fun to watch us give real minutes to Zach but ngl it hasn’t been thrilling until last night. And thinking about it more I really just think it’s because 50% of the game which was previously painful to borderline unwatchable (defense) is now fun again.
It’s really just the Dyson Daniel’s effect. Also a little bit of Zach and a little bit of two way Trae
I am thinking to get a membership for use for work (meeting with clients, networking etc.) at the State Farm Arena. I don’t need something super fancy or private, so I’m leaning less towards the suites, but does anyone have experience with any of the clubs? Players Club vs Harrahs vs Social Club?
Would like something with a slightly upscale feel, but doesn’t totally break the bank. If anyone has insight on general cost, that would be awesome.
