Amid all the offseason talk, I feel like I haven’t seen enough talk about picking up Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. He’s a veteran with 2 championships under his belt, a solid defender, shot 42% and 40% from 3 the past 2 seasons. If we play him at the 2, I think he’d do a lot better of a job than someone like Gary Harris. Is there something about his game that i’m missing that makes him undesirable?
Fuck those fucking fucks. I'm an atheist, but I know their app is the work of the devil!

Anyone else still lying awake at night thinking we could be 1-1 vs Boston rn?
Like the title says. I wanted to know since I've been thinking whether or not Cole and Tyler have the same SMOTY role and archetype
But with better results sooner imo. I think ownership is seeing the trajectory of playoffs for OKC and looking to do the same thing they have done. Keep the chemistry and add one decent/great piece (hopefully at point and another good vet). We should measure this next season based on what the Thunder have done. Paolos upside is better than Shai if not equal imo.
As someone who gets frustrated at our shooting, next season is make or break before we try and make big changes. I think all the guys know what to do in the off season (work on shooting 3s). I’m excited to see how we perform with all this built chemistry and hunger for more than the 1st round.
What do we think about drafting Zack?Edey with our pick this year 7 fourths center.Good rebound your good shot , blocker just can't shoot the ball But I think he could potentially be the answer at center. And maybe we can find a shooters in free agency
What do you think they should get and what do you think they will actually get when it comes to their rookie extension contract?
I think these are both hard to predict, Suggs is a unique player who was definitely earned himself some money this season while Franz may have cost himself some with his regression in shooting.
Here is a list of rookies from the 2020 class who have signed extensions -
Anthony Edwards - 5 years, $260 million
LaMelo Ball - 5 years, $260 million
Tyrese Haliburton - 5 years, $260 million
Desmond Bane - 5 years, $207 million
Devin Vassell - 5 years, $146 million
Jaden McDaniels - 5 years, $136 million
Onyeka Okongwu - 4 years, $62 million
Deni Avdija - 4 years, $55 million
Josh Green - 3 years, $41 million
Cole Anthony - 3 years, $39 million
Aaron Nesmith - 3 years, $33 million

As it stands Orlando hold picks 18 and 47.
We all know 47 is gonna be transformed into cash considerations.
But with pick 18 where do we go?
We could target one of the bigs to shore up our depth long term if Goga leaves + develop long term. Kel Ware, Yves Misi or Kyle Fipowski could be available.
Alternatively, do we look for a combo guard that can run offense and score from the perimeter?
Jarred McCain, Carlton Carrington, Tyler Kolek, Isaiah Collier and Devin Carter all fit that bill in their own way.
Cleveland couldn’t win in Orlando but spanks the Celtics in Boston.. hmmmm shoutout to the Orlando faithful!! #BlueAndWhiteIgnite

I think this move is flying under the radar, but very intriguing...
If my understanding is correct, this trade gives Orlando unprotected pick swap rights to one of either the Suns' or Wizards' first round pick in 2026.
With the trajectory of Orlando only going upward, it means our own pick will probably be in the mid-late 20's by this point in time.
With the trajectory of the objective dumpster-fire that is Washington, and the apparent/impending dumpster-fire that is Phoenix, it could very well mean they are both picking in the lottery in 2026. And Orlando will be entitled to one of those picks.
This could be draft capital the Magic use to bolster their team with young talent, or it could be a very valuable trade piece when the timing is right to bag another superstar
I don't see no one talking about this player and i think he can be a really good fit with our starting 5.
Sexton is a very athletic slasher, he is lethal in trasition, veryo good finishing around the rim, he can throw dimes when driving in the paint and his 3PT shooting got extremely consistent this season.
He averages per 36 minutes: 25 PTS | 6.5 AST | 3.5 TRB on 49% | 39% (5.5 3PA) | 86% shoot splits.
I think he can be a cheap alternative to the SG position since the Jazz probably is gonna blow up in this off season and commits for the rebuild.
PS: Sorry for my poor english, i am just a Magic fan from Brasil and i still learning this language.
I know there's already been several threads made about Monk, but this one shows some stats that people might find interesting. Hear me out...
There are rumors the Magic will be interested and many analysts are talking about it. There are a lot of Magic fans here who want Malik Monk and for good reason. In case you're not convinced yet that he would be a good target, let me provide some stats...
Many people here for some reason don't believe he can start at PG for us. I am seeing posts where people suggest we sign Monk and bring him off the bench. That's not happening. Monk would be our starter, and he is a capable playmaker. He averaged 5.1APG this season, and 7.1 assists per 36. We won games with Harris starting and averaging 7 points and 1.5 assist per game. Monk's playmaking is the most underrated part of his game.
People will question whether he's going to be as effective as he is now if he's starting and playing heavy minutes, so here this is how he has performed in the games where he played more than 30 minutes, and/or started..
During the 2023-2024 season, when Monk played more than 30 minutes(14 games) he averaged 23PPG-7.4APG-4RPG On 40% 3pt shooting and near 60%TS.
When Monk played more than 30 minutes in 2022-2023 (7 games) he averaged 28 PPG-5APG on well over 70%TS.
When he played for the Lakers in 2021-2022 he performed better as a starter (37 games) averaging 17-4-3.3 on 60+TS%. When he played +30MPG he averaged over 19 PPG on +63 TS% on a decent sample size of 33 games.
Every time he was given more playing time, Monk stepped up and played better. Why would it be any different in Orlando? Guy can space the floor (+38% on catch and shoot the past 2 seasons), he can slash to the rim, he can facilitate. He's a great fit offensively. Only question would be his defense, and with his energy and athleticism + a defensive culture and Suggs, I can see his defense not being an issue.
Was looking through my grandpa’s collectibles and found this, I thought it was pretty dope so I wanted to share
