You have an entire base of trained and highly lethal clone commandos trained for infiltration and sabotage missions and don’t think “ hey lets send some experienced units after omega cause they def specialize in these types of military environments “. I get scorch is a imperial commander now but just sending him and a few others in would greatly have a chance at succeeding
As many other tv shows have done, if there is no body then there is a chance they're still alive so I want to believe tech is still alive somewhere and if he is they're doing an amazing job at hiding it but if I end up being wrong then that would suck lol.
I’m really hoping admiral rampart returns somehow. It was refreshing to see a good imperial for once who was actually smart and leaving me with wanting more content on him.
Does anyone think he’ll return in season 3?
Hello! I have never made a Reddit post in my life but I am going INSANE. I am trying to remember what episode a specific scene from the Bad Batch is in— at least, I’m pretty sure it’s from the Bad Batch, and not from Clone Wars, but I could be wrong.
This description is going to be vague, but it’s all I have: there are a few people in what I think was some kind of office or conference room. It’s towards the end of an episode, and some sort of injustice or bad thing has just happened. I believe an Empiric authority figure is trying to force a clone or a senator into doing something horrible, and they refuse (and potentially shoot the authority figure instead…maybe)?
Other things I think I remember: the lighting was very soft and beautiful. It was a pretty emotionally charged moment. I think Crosshair might have been there?
Again, I’m so sorry this is extremely vague lol. I struggle a lot with short-term memory and my stupid brain keeps changing small details about this scene every time I try to reimagine it, so I’m really hoping someone can help me out with this! 😭
To Nemec, the clone with best armor I’ve ever seen.
Robotic prosthetics in star wars are very good - to the point of being functionally the same as a normal hand. This could fix his issue with the shaking
The only good thing screen rant ever did was give us Ryan and his pitch meeting series.
I know everyone is speculating on how the series is going to end, but after reading many posts and theories here, and just thinking about how characters and themes connect between Star Wars media, I had some thoughts about predictions for the end of The Bad Batch.
Lots of people have brought up Rex, Wolfe, and Gregor as they appeared in Rebels, and that something must have happened to them to cause them to abandon their cause and go into retirement (hiding) for years until we catch up with them in Rebels. I've read lots of different theories, but a consistent theme was that something big must have happened to scare them and deter them from their cause of rescuing and rehabilitating their clone brethren.
Other theories are about the Bad Batch themselves, since we don't know what becomes of them. Of course they don't appear in later SW material, because they didn't even exist at the time, so anything done with them has to retcon them into something. So, the writers have their work cut out for them to either set up a future appearance in other SW media, or explain why we don't see them after this.
So, on to my theory for what happens at the end of the series. I think, based on the trajectory, we are definitely going back to Tantiss. I'm sure that's more than obvious at this point. And, we do know that there must have been some success in derailing Project Necromancer for several decades, since we see it still going on in the Mandolorian, and then in its...failed state in Rise of Skywalker.
My guess is that the Bad Batch, Rex, and many others will discover the location of Tantiss, and will succeed in revealing the location to a wider audience, but then things will go very badly on the planet, and Palpatine will order the destruction of Tantiss in the same way Kamino was destroyed. I would not be surprised if he tries to salvage as much as he can, but then just obliterates the place to destroy as much evidence as possible, with will include the massacre of all of the clones being imprisoned there. That would be a huge blow to Rex and, maybe make him take to heart what Hunter has been telling him; that what he's doing isn't going to make a difference to the Empire, and they'll just kill them all anyway. A David and Goliath situation. I'm hoping that the Bad Batch themselves will be able to escape the destruction, as they did on Kamino, but I do think we're in for an unhappy and unsuccessful rescue mission on Weyland.
TLDR; Things will go very badly on Mt. Tantiss for everyone, and Palpatine will order the destruction of the place, like Tipoca City, and this will cause Rex and co. to abandon their cause and retire in hiding after all of his clone brethren are massacred.
Low effort meme, sry i had to :)
Im not an old person. Im in my young 20s. I would like to think I have decent eyesight. Everytime a scene comes on that is relatively dark I cant see shit on my screen.
In e8 today, when fennec, hunter and wrecker were fighting sylar I literally had no idea what happened. Max brightness and for the most part just saw shadows moving and understood what was happening from laser blasts and verbal queues. I understand them trying to make it more serious and eerie but not to the point where I can barely see whats going on.
Maybe its because I watched it during the daytime? Why cant Disney plus raise the brightness level a bit? I need to know if anyone else is suffering from this lol
Every time we get an acknowledgement of Tech this season via a name drop, it's always in reference to missing Tech's skills or his function in the group, not about missing HIM. Phee's statement this past episode is close to the final straw for me.
When Crosshair left the group, Wrecker and Tech indicated they missed HIM, nothing about "Yeah, it would be really helpful if we had a sniper right about now." When Echo left the group, it was all about how much the squad missed HIM, not "Wish we had a scomp-armed cyborg for this mission, it's a lot harder without him."
Even the reference to Tech's goggles only serves to highlight his former role in the squad, not himself as a person and loved brother. During the lingering shot on Tech's goggles, Hunter is in the background looking frustrated as he goes over a datapad (which was, of course, Tech's job)... And even then, the perspective of the shot on Tech's goggles is for us as the viewer. When Hunter looks up and the emphasis shifts to Hunter's sorrow, his focus is on Lula.
If this is supposed to be closure, the creators are doing a really bad job of it, which is strange because they've obviously put so much genuine thought and care into dealing with things like Mayday's death and Crosshair's mental/emotional state following his imprisonment (both important events/topics) than they have into dealing with Tech's apparent demise.
I still hate him but I feel kinda bad for him as well
Is Fennec actually selling them out or is this misdirection? Who do you think she's talking to? Boba? Ventress? Cad Bane? Or some else?
The next episode is titled "The Harbinger." Who/what do you think that will be??
What if it's Slick? We don't know how his story goes and we know he hated Rex. Also the clone operative doesn't follow orders. Could be a great full-circle moment wait hang on its totally dogma!! Explains his aversion to following rules

When Howzer stuns CX1 at the beginning of the episode, he removes the assassin’s faceplate, confirms he’s a clone, and reports, “It’s one of those… shadows we keep running into.”
Rex encountered Clone X before Echo and company rescued Howzer, so this implies that they ran into more CX troopers between seasons 2 and 3, and apart from that, does Howzer confirming that he was indeed a clone imply that Stormtroopers have also been known to wear that armor?
In "Unfinished Business" (the last episode of the arc), as the group is battling droids on the way off Trench's ship, Crosshair basically says "You all go on ahead, I'll take care of this," and... everyone instead hangs back to watch - twice.
(Tbf, I would have done the same 😂 No way am I missing out on watching Crosshair make mirror shots!)
I know that there are some theories going around that people think Emerie might be joining the bad batch and I just don’t think that’s the case.
Watching episode 1 again you can see in the facility that everyone working there is a female and has the same hair colour. But each have a different style (just like the clone troopers). So why is no one talking about that?
There’s a huge possibility that hemlock is in a facility with no one BUT clones. It’s very possible that all the clones in the facility could join forces to over throw Hemlock with or even without the bad batch.
Is it possible that Ventress comes in to “take care” of this situation??
Anyway, let me know what you think. Not good at writing theories but I didn’t want this detail to go by undiscussed.
It seems that there is big number of clone commandos in Mount Tantiss (both Royal Commando and normal ones), as well as lot of TK Stromtroopers, as seems in S3Ep3. Hemlock also has a lot of gunships, and at least 3 Venator Star Destroyers, as seen when they capture the Zilo Beast. He also a Clone-X division, and clone-composed recovery teams, which one is led by Wolffe. Maybe in the hundred of thousand?
She did this last year before Outpost by posting an All Quiet On The Western Front gif which was extremely fitting. Now her peaceful Don Draper gif let's me know I can take it easy for one week. Thanks, Jennifer, I needed that.
They are mirror images of each other.
!In "The Solitary Clone", he starts off on a crashed shuttle, at ground level, and he and Cody fight their way uphill, eventually fighting all the way up a spiral staircase to complete the mission, during which time he is saved from strangulation by Cody.!<
!In "Extraction", he starts off at the top of a spiral staircase, battles CX-2 all the way down, and then ends up at the bottom of a waterfall, at ground level, at which point he is again rescued from a breath-based death by Howzer, before he escapes on a shuttle.!<
I feel like the writers were trying to say something with this - not necessarily that CX-2 >!is Cody!< but the episode perhaps acts as a symbolic undoing of his previous actions as an enforcer for the Empire in "the Solitary Clone". Rather than putting himself at risk for the Empire, he chooses to >!1v1 CX-2 to try and protect his friends and, above all, Omega.!<
We literally have plenty of characters that didn't appear in rebels at all and yet they made it to either the original trilogy or after that (mandalorian, book of boba fett etc) so why is this an argument?
For preference we have cad bane and fennec shan
Cad bane only ever appeared in clone wars but not in rebels so we could assume he died except he didn't and he appeared in both the bad batch and book of boba fett
Fennec shan first appeared in the mandalorian, that alone already means she can't die before said series, yet we have her in the bad batch which is years before rebels, that alone means characters like the bad batch could very well be alive after their own series and appear somewhere else
The rebels argument isn't enough to prove they will die at the end of the series
And if you wanna ask why they didn't appear in the rebellion, that is a simple answer
Just like fennec shan and cad bane they weren't created at the time so they didn't appear at all, is common sense
I mean… we haven’t seen him all season so it is possible…
