Hey all! Ik minors don't really "matter" but I'd like to pair it with something I'd enjoy doing. I'm a current Freshman Undergrad student, aiming towards child/adolescent psychology, but not sure what minor may keep me interested. SW? Human Development? Something bizarre and 'random' like Crime? Idk maaaan. Haven't talked to my advisor yet it was up in the air when we last spoke this early spring. Any ideas/personal experience on what paired well with you? Thanks :)
This may be a silly question, but I am a first generation college student and I have no clue who to ask about this. Are there a lot of graduate students who live on campus in the dorms or other campus housing?
I work graveyard shift a couple days a week. I usually get off at 7:30, but sometimes earlier like today I got off at 5. Are there any buildings on campus that are open earlier than 7 that I could come and hang out or study super early?
Does anyone know why the fieldhouse smells so bad this semester and is anything being done about it? I swear it wasn’t near this potent in spring.
I need to go back home over the weekend and I was wondering if anyone else is going to Salt Lake that I can carpool with. I’d give money for gas of course.
I’ve spent quite a bit of time looking around and all the links for carpooling seem to no longer exist, or they do exist but aren’t being used anymore. I’m also aware of the bus, but that’s about 100$ for a round trip which is way too much imo. So if anyone can help me out, I would be so thankful.
Does anyone here have experience with auditing a class? I could use some advice.
Thanks
I'm looking for somewhere either on USU campus or in Logan that can print in 90a or 95a TPU filament, it's a relatively small print, just a headphone strap I'm using to redistribute weight on my head.
I talked to the Engineering lab, but they don't have that kind of filament.
It's been hard to find somewhere because the filament required of the print is hard to print with I've heard, but I'm hoping someone here can hook me up with someone.
I'm a non-CS major trying to decide if I should take discrete math or not. For those who have taken it, what do you think? What did you get out of the class?
I having some friends planning on coming up for the weekend and everything should be fine aside from the fact the place I’m living in requires a permit to park in my parking lot. I was looking through places to park near campus and I saw this. It says it’s 24/7 parking, if my friends were to pay 30 dollars, would they be able to park there for the weekend without getting booted, towed, or charged extra? Or are they only allowed to stay 5 hrs cause of the $10 dollar maximum? University Inn is right there so I’d assume it would be fine?? But I’m not sure, I don’t want my friends to travel up here just to get booted.
I’ve heard that all math students are required to take quizzes in the testing center and no longer allowed to do it online. Is this true? This policy change would be the reason why the testing center has long lines. I need math students to confirm if this is true. If it is, I will start a petition.
I'll be 19 when I start in the fall of 2025 as a freshman and I can't decide between these two. They both look good on the inside. It's between the 4 bedrooms for Blue Square and the Private Room for Canyon Crest.
Does anybody know where I can find a listing of student housing contracts that people are trying to get out of?
Thanks in advance.
Hey,my friend is considering applying for this program with a bechelor degree related to business. He was planning to take some courses related to CS and do some projects to meet the standard of the program for hopping to tech industry.(and usu is the only university offers enough money to support his life in US)
He got high GPA,GRE and IELTS,
it is possible for him to get in?
do you have any advice on that?
Hello everyone! I have a quick survey I put together for a class project about transportation methods around campus. If you are a current student and have a few minutes, I will really appreciate if you could fill it out!
I'm considering transferring to USU from the online college where I'm currently! I would be going in as a sophomore if that changes anything regarding housing. With my disability, I would need a private bedroom and bathroom (not in need of a kitchen). Is USU able to offer this? Maybe I was looking in the wrong places, but all the information I found seemed really vague. It mentioned a private bedroom but nothing about bathrooms. Essentially asking if anyone knows if this accommodation is possible. Thanks!
**I'm planning on speaking with the disability resource center, but I'm apprehensive to do so because I haven't submitted my application and don't want my disability affecting my chances of admission
Is anyone else taking the 7 week CS1400 class? I'm getting crushed by the assignment at the end of each module. It just seems like the content taught in that module are not enough to fulfill the assignment requirements.
Hey y'all, I'm looking into transferring to USU within the next couple of months to a year. I just saw that there is a new Engineering Technology degree that looks interesting. Is there anyone in the program who can offer some insight into it? How does it compare with a regular Mechanical Engineering degree? Thanks in advance!
I've been living in a dorm, and it's not terrible, but I also haven't really enjoyed it that much either. I'm hoping it would be possible for me to sell my lease and move into an apartment when spring semester comes around, and I was wondering if you guys had any advice you could give me about some questions I have.
I'll probably check on Facebook Marketplace and KSL, but if you know you'll be in need of a roommate in spring semester, I would be down to possibly figure out something.
I saw there’s a club team up here but don’t think I have the skill or time to join. But I love ultimate and am looking for people to scrimmage with once a week. I saw some people playing in the quad at the beginning of the semester. Let me know if you’re interested and if we get enough people we can figure something out.
I applied for Aggie Access and in the middle of reading my books were taken away, anyone lese experience this?

Hi aggies, I have registered for our dental health insurance plan (Sydney health app) and I'm trying to find a good dentist to do basic cleaning. Any suggestions? I usually fear dentists who ruin your mouth and teeth.
I've heard about students doing this but I wasn't sure. How does it work?
As the title suggests, I’m looking for an electrical keyboard because I cannot keep practicing on the TSC piano anymore. 😭😭 please let me know if you know anyone that is selling or if you’re willing to sell.
We're coming into town for our first football game where can we park is Lot F decent spot how far the walk. Thx
Hey guys, I've been coming here for 2 years now but I've always studied at the library. Sometimes though all the tables are filled at the library so I'm wondering if there are any other good places to study where I can plug in my laptop?
