I want to take the snowboarding class this spring but I can't afford my own gear. Will this be a problem or do they provide it?
What is the point of levels and points in the hub app? It’s a very barebones app, maybe there’s some reward system only viewable when I have enough points? I have 2700 points which seems substantial enough. There’s a tab labeled contests, but is that all there is?
Hey all this semester seems even more mess up. The opt out has one extra layer to be opt out. After reaching canvas, you need to now select spring 2025 to finally see the option to opt out.
Hello everyone!
I was wondering which fraternities and sororities are the most active in terms of parties and events.
Thank you in advance!
I can’t seem to find anything on most of the professors for spring semester ENGL 1010, if anyone’s taken it recently and liked theirs I’d love recommendations!!!
Yes, I am TERRIFIED of taking this class with Andy because I have heard it’s the hardest one offered here. I want to get a head start before I take it in the Spring. Does anyone have any resources to help me out with that? Flashcards, things specifically from the class (so I know what to expect), etc.? I’ve tried general anatomy helps but I don’t know how in depth the class will get. I’m a pre-nursing student and will also be taking CHEM 1110 so anything to help with that too would be great!
Looking for some people to ski up at beaver this winter. I’m a freshman and I would consider myself to be an expert(ish). And I have Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays off next semester. Let me know if you’re interested.
Title is pretty explanatory, I had a roommate on a full year lease. He has an internship in SLC for the spring and he was planning on just paying it regardless of living in SLC. However he doesn’t want to pay it anymore.
Living situation: master bedroom, walk-in closet, personal bathroom. 575/month. @ Summer Wilde Villas, 2 male roommates.
Let me know if you or anyone you know is interested, or have questions!
Edit: For clarification I’m not a part of the LDS
I’m a first year student planning on transferring to USU in the fall of 2025. Just wondering how religious the students are there? I know Utah is big in the LDS community but I’m a Christian trying to see if I’d fit in there.
The school I’m at right now is pretty secular and I’ve got a pretty small group of people that I do studies with and I’m interested if I’d be able to continue doing something like that there.
I’m also just trying to get out of the atmosphere here as it’s not very enjoyable to me and I would think that USU, having a good amount of LDS/Religious students, would be a lot calmer and overall more enjoyable.
I know this is probably a stupid question as schools are very diverse, but it’s been a contributing factor to my decision about transferring and I’d like some closure.
Appreciate any responses.
Basically the title. I want to take a class where I can learn blender or a similar 3D design software like Maya or Cinema4D (not something like solidworks).
As well, if anyone knows of a class for this and has taken it, how did you like it? Do you feel like you learned a lot or was it as useful as watching YouTube tutorials?
I have quite a few extra credits that I could fill at some point so I thought I might as well use it as an opportunity to learn stuff that I won’t learn in my major
My friend’s article is in it this week and I would love to grab a copy! Where are the USU newspapers located where I could easily pick one up? Thanks!
I’m a new Student at USU and brand new to the Logan Valley, I’m a digital illustrator, and I have a ton of animal prints left over from my first Run, if you would like one to hang in your dorm or apartment, shoot me a DM!
I am currently sold out of stickers but I have those in the same designs as well!
I’m wanting to take skiing (PE 1650) for spring but can’t find any information in the course listing or online and wondering if anyone who has taken the class can answer a couple questions I have:
-Where does the skiing class meet?
-If the class lasts an hour and a half, how much time will I need as buffer before I have another class?
I have already been accepted and about to enroll what’s the latest I can resubmit my scores to bumb up my scholarship bracket?
I get 15k from both
Anyone here currently living in, or has recently lived in, Solea Townhomes? Any feedback, positive or negative?
Thank you!
Did anyone get the word of the day for advs 1050 w/ prof benninghoff?
Does anyone know if there are punching bags on campus somewhere?
What do u guys think of San Juan hall? This upcoming spring will be my first year. I’m not looking to get mean plan
Hello so I will be attending usu for the spring? I have a question so if your net cost is 8K? Does that mean you’re going to pay the 8K for the semester?
I saw there are two pianos down in the hub dining area. Are we allowed to play those? The grand piano upstairs next to the ballroom says you have to call/ask to play it and I'm a bit shy for that. Also the ones down in the hub feel a bit more secluded. Thanks for any info
Does anyone have any off-campus housing recommendations? I'm planning to move to Logan from California by the end of December. I'm open to taking over a lease if someone is finishing up this semester. Also, if anyone is looking for roommates I'd be happy to chat.
Hi everyone! I’m going to be transferring to USU for fall 2025 :)). I heard Ridge point was a new dorm building opening up then. I know they’re not finished yet but has anyone heard anything good/bad about them? I want a private room and I was also looking at Canyon Crest but Ridge Point would be a lot closer to my classes. Thanks!
Hi there gang! I'm an adult student and still a bum just living at my parents house. There's gonna be a bunch of middle school/high school age kids making a racket at my house for Friday night. They're watching the Tyson/Paul fight. Which brings me to my question, is there anywhere on campus that is open 24/7, or like till midnight, to study? It looks like the library is only open till 9 pm. I recall seeing a post asking something similar but couldn't find anything via the sub reddit search. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks.
I live in Logan and am a USU alum. I am looking for someone who is familiar with the lathe at the Metal Factory to knock me out a small project (2 inches long, half inch wide) as a birthday gift for my brother in a few weeks. If you know anyone skilled with a metal lathe and would like to help out a fellow Aggie love to hear from you.
I was hoping to take the course this summer. Do they offer this course during the summer semester? If they do is it easier to get into the flight courses then? I already emailed my advisor and will book an appointment as soon as one opens up but I’m anxious was hoping to get some answers sooner.
Has anyone taken these classes? How difficult are they and what kind of reports/projects do each entail? The class descriptions never have much detail
