Hi! I'm brand new to modding things and have watched a few videos and decided to try to install cfw to my ps3. I'm trying to install said cfw on my pc but cannot find the link. I go to the website these videos say to go too but the link they show doesn't come up (I don't know if I'm allowed to list the website). When I try to download it it only gives me the option to download pex or dpex when I'm supposed to download a whole folder. The image shows what I see when I try to find the download page. The videos I watch say if you scroll down there should be an area that says downloads and it looks very different from this. Any help would be appreciated (also sorry if this is the wrong subreddit to ask this question)

Is there somebody who already synced trophies with Evilnat CFW after disabling syscalls and cleanig history? I won't use homebrews to get trophies, instead I just want to obtain them legally by just playing downloaded games.

I know that it is not safe at all, I shouldn't use my main account etc., I'm asking if somebody just did it and got banned.

Is anyone aware of a way to get all the BO2 camos unlocked, without the addition of map packs? I found a pkg file with the camos but it came with the map packs installed and I couldn’t find a game because of it. I’ve been searching for a while now and can’t find anything.

Was just wondering what the best fan settings were for a slim ps3 with cfw. My ps3 overheated while playing a ps2 iso and I was wondering if there was any way to fix this.

Ive tried following settings on the router itself:

• made a DMZ host on ps3’s ip (i dunno if that is the right way).
• ive tried to turn on UPnP, but somehow my ps3 reads it as “Not Available”.
• ive tried TCP/UDP port forwarding to the specific ip of my ps3 with code 5223 (external and internal).

Hi, As the title says, I'm looking for a way to block official updates on a CFW (4391 EvilNAT CEX) PS3 Slim. Today my son accepted an update and I had to reinstall the OFW with an USB drive, then HFW, then CFW, etc... Now I have to redonaload all my games and my saves are screwed. He won't do that mistake again but I'd rather have a dumb proof solution to prevent this from happening ever again. Is there any way to block official updates from Sony on my console ? I've looked throught the Cobra options but I'm totally ignorant and found nothing. I don't understand what sycalls are, to begin with, nor if they're related to this subject. There is a "Toolbox" pkg (~450 MB !) I saw when browsing on Google, but I'd like a piece of advice from an educated person here. Thanks for any help ! Regards.

Quick question, I recently turned my ps2isos into pkg files since my ps2isos were not running. I use a ntfs usb drive and i saw a tutorial which allowed me to download pkg files from a ntfs drive using managuns. But, in the tutorial it said I needed a separate folder with all my .rap files which I don’t have. Is there any work around to this or where can I get the .rap files? I am running cfw 4.91

Seeking knowledge or real experiences about anything related to title. I was planning to install HFW and MultiMan to dump games from BR and load them from the HDD, hoping it would make the BR last longer.

But then a discussion with another user ended with the possibility of such package or HFW to raise temperature of the console, controlling fans or whatsoever (he told me there would be necessary to change termal paste and I don't really want to think about opening the console).

I'm not an expert so I apologize for my unexperience, just hoping to receive answers about this so I can play assured that I did no harm to the console by installing something potentially dangerous without the right precautions. I hope this is understandable.

Hi, I had a issue with my setup, for context my playstation (the FAT one with Rebug 4.84.2) is connected to my projector (a cheap 130$ 1080p projector found in amazon) via HDMI.

The problem here is that when loading games that doesn't have 1080p, I experience some serious input lag and sutter (but if i connect my playstation to a monitor for testing, the game runs perfectly).

I already did the thing where you only select 1080p as possibles resolution and it does the trick for some games (it fixed FIFA 14 for example), but some games will then try to run at 480p, and be ultra-laggy (like BLUR), or some games wont even load (like COD 3), and I suppose the same thing happens for PS1 and PS2 games that i'll want to play later.

I wondered if there was a solution (preferally a software one, like maybe some custom frimware setting) to only output 1080p no matter what (and in the case the game runs at 720p or lower, just zoom it so it can spit 1080p to the projector, i don't care at all of visual quality).

I downloaded 2 versions of burnout and for some reason the USA version is not showing up in multiMan. I can play it and works great as long as the USB is still in. I'm trying to copy it to my HDD but it's not showing in multi man for some reason so I cant. idk what I did different.

Hello i would like to use my ps3 with my dualshock 4, i would prefer to use it like normal with bluetooth directly but cable is good too, i tried to follow the readme file but it doesnt seem to work, my ds4 acts like usual and doesnt have any rumble and ps button doesnt work, is it something doable or im asking too much?? maybe i miss something, pls help

I'm playing sengoku basara 3 in japanese. I'm going to get the pal version (im aussie) so I can properly understand what's going on.. I want to convert the ntsc-j save file to pal. I've read that this can be done for this game particularly (although the guy who did it was emulating)
Do I needed to have a modded PS3? Or can you rip/upload save files via USB from your PS3 without it being modded? Cheers

to get my system on evilnat 4.91. From what I’ve heard from people this guy is a good source for these guides, but I still want to make sure I’m not overlooking anything. I’ve put in a new 1TB hard drive to my system, model type CECHK01, and plan to follow the video to the letter. Is there anything else I should have prepared for this? I appreciate any adivce!

Edit: I actually forgot to mention, but I’m planning to duplicate my saves from another ps3 linked to a PSN account and put them onto this new system, is that at all possible, and would it affect any of what I’d be doing with the mod process?

Hi. I've been trying to get the 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth controller to work with the PS3 for the past day, but without success. First I tried just connecting it as a BT device. I heard that Switch controllers work, and since it basically is meant for Nintendo Switch (and gets recognized as "Pro Controller") in the Bluetooth mode, I thought it would work. However, it didn't. It connected to the PS3, but I cannot do anything with it.

Then I tried using the PS3xPAD. I connected the 2.4G receiver to the PS3, but nothing happens this time either. The receiver has a LED on, and the controller isn't blinking (meaning it has connected). However, I cannot do anything with this one either.

I tried to connect a Logitech F310 to the PS3 and open the PS3xPAD menu, and I saw that there was no information about the 8BitDo controller. Only the F310. That means that the plugin works, but the 8BitDo gamepad doesn't.

Found a PS3 Slim (CECH-2001A) on eBay under $20, I figured I give it a new lease in life. Installed a 1 TB SSD (PNY - SSD7CS900-1TB-RB), installed CFW 4.91.2 Evilnat Cobra 8.5 [CEX] [BETA 9] & multiMAN v04.85.01 following Mario’s instructions on YouTube. Everything was Green Check Marks and good to go. Long story short, I cannot launch .iso for with PS2 or PS3 games. As soon as I click on the game multiMAN crashes and takes me back to the Home Screen (out of multiMAN). Has anyone experienced this and/or did I do something wrong along the way? One thing to note, I am using AV cables since the HDMI port is busted (poor job whoever tried to fix it before me). Somewhere I read this could be the cause. Any tips on how to fix this problem would help. Thanks.

How to launch PS2 classics on full cfw ps3? I am a bit confused, I saw some launchers etc. Does it not launch straight from multiman?

I totally should have checked online before I did this, I jailbroke my ps3 and used multiman while on my main account. I booted Minecraft from an iso and played it for a few minutes before I noticed. Am I totally gonna get banned?
