how do i resolve this
Underrated console and the statement still holds truth all these years later! Vita means life
hi can I setup a SD card on sd2vita and then later simply move that sd card to the internal 3g slot (assuming I edit the storage config)? or do I have to setup a new SD card on the 3g internal slot
this happened about A week or 2 earlier, where my vitas gpu crashed twice on lumines, one before and after I did the "fix" where you add A hastag on 2 files,I also deleted the file labeled "old tai" folder just incase.
So today I played some minecraft, and about around maybe 15 to 20 minutes later my gpu crashes. So I went back to minecraft and it reseted my world to before I played it,meaning I lost my progress, the same case on lumines.
I just tested it again on dust force( first time playing the game and booting it up),and the gpu crashed again after 10 minutes!(I was in the tutorial stage).I was playing sega all stars transformed just fine without crashes(I played the game first before minecraft) .I bought the vita pre hacked back in december 2023 and just recently repaired the analog stick by replacing it last month.Do I have to replace the sd2vita or something? because even back then the data base kept repairing itself,I am really stuck on this one since the problem is not consistent enough since some games I dont experience any gpu crashes(because I only play like less than 8 games instead of the other 30+ games).
sorry for the wall of text,I just really want this problem to go away.
Hey I bought a PS Vita and modded it with henkaku but I heard its not really good and I dont know what to do right now about it? Is henkaku good or should I completly reset it and Install another custom Firmware? And for downloading games on the vita do I need to download those iso files or others ? Pls help me 😭
Does anyone still have the ps Vita 1.08 patch ?
I don’t know why, and it’s not a major inconvenience bc I use GitHub and vitashell for much of the vpks. But, I wanted to look at the themes on vitadb and it crashed, so I thought about trying easyvpk to update its data, now that’s crashing. I tried bhb just to see and now that’s crashing too. I just thought maybe someone could tell me what’s up with that or if there’s something fix in the taihenkaku configuration somewhere. Thx
Hey everyone, I know this seems to get swept under the rug by everyone but I used the chiaki build that works with the vita (this is the fork I used:https://github.com/ywnico/vitaki-fork/). It actually kinda runs mediocre for fast paced games, but for slower paced stuff (bejeweled, turn based RPGs). It is kind of great for slower paced games. Also I only tested on the PS4 so idk it'll work on ps5 or not.
Looking to get one of the following for my girlfriend for his birthday. I’m really on the fence between the systems since they all have their ups and downs. Would really appreciate some input since I haven’t used a Vita or PSP in 10 years, and never had either modded.
this is what I’ve gathered :
PSP 1000 w/ IPS : Obviously good screen, has curvy (fat) back, heard some buttons are alright
PSP 3000 : Worst screen out of the three mentioned, flat back, and for nostalgia reasons my favorite looking one
PS VITA 2000 : Bigger screen, more games to play, PSP games look washed out however, and it’s a larger console and uglier imo.
Planning on getting 2 of whichever console in white/ glacier white so was just looking for opinions to be honest. Gonna be bringing mine to europe next year.
Edit - thank you guys for your input, I learned a lot and ended up buying 2 pretty mint condition white 1000’s from japan, just waiting on arrival
Hey guys, I'm thinking about doing the sd2vita mod. How many gigabytes and how fast of a read speed will be enough? Any suggestions?
My friend gave me his psvita 1000 model and had some problem like the power button not working and the vita charging port had some corrision, I went to the technician and he changed it to a ps3 controller charging port and whenever I'm playing with it while charging it drains slowler then without. I'm wondering if i need to buy a new battery or is it something else.
Hi can someone help me out please I'm new to the vita mod scene. I can't seem to install ABM. I keep getting an error. Thanks.
Error is 0xfffffff.
Im planning to mod my ps vita (2000) to hell and back, i've already thinked of this :
usb C port,
4000mah battery
white buttons (it's a black model)
512 gb sd2vita..
Anything else i could add ? keep in mind it's a 2000 model.....
TLDR: Bought a Vita, installed stuff, it stopped working. Factory reset fixed it, but re-hacking (apparently) required an update. Update failed, and now it’s stuck on a black screen or Safe Mode with only the update option available. PC won't recognize it through cable.
Last week I bought an used PS Vita I’d been searching for. After playing and installing some things, it got stuck on the PS logo and wouldn’t boot. I tried key combinations, removing the SD, and disconnecting the battery but nothing worked.
It booted into Safe Mode, so I did a factory reset. It worked, but I lost everything and needed to re-hack it. Following cfwaifu and VitaHacks guides, I attempted to update the system. After clicking update, it stayed on a black screen for 15 minutes. I waited another 10 minutes before forcing a reboot.
Now it’s stuck with a black screen and the blue PS button light. I can access Safe Mode, but only the "Update from PS3/PC/Card" option works. However, my PC doesn’t recognize the device, don't have a card or a PS3.
I’m considering buying a game card to try updating, but I’m unsure if it’ll work to be honest. The firmware was likely 3.55 or 3.65 before the update, but don't know if it got updated or not.
Is it a lost case/really bricked device or is there any other option to try and revive it?
It is the 1000/Fat model, specifically PCH-1010
Is there any way to Jailbreak them, or purchase them already jailbroken? I’m preferably looking for something with racing games on, such as Gran Turismo or MotoGP. I’m clueless with stuff like this so if anyone has any info or recommendations that would be great
Am I right in thinking that I can install Henlo and then Henkaku directly on the Vita through the Internet app?
Hi all, decided to revive my PSVita and wanted to make sure I had the latest of everything on it. What would be the best steps to follow. I've had a look on vita hacks guides and it says to restore the software, update to 3.74, then use HENlo and follow the guide from the perspective of using a 3.74 PS Vita. Is there anything else I need to know going in, or should I just leave the vita where it is?
I never had an n64 personally, so there are a bunch of great games on there that I haven’t ever played. I did play legend of Zelda ocarina of time with a cousin quite a bit, but we never got past the water temple as kids. Tonight I finished the game for the first time, played through entirely on the vita. Great game (lives up to the hype imo), pretty good experience playing it on vita. This device is great! 😌

Hello,
i have a modded PS Vita, there are all kinds plattforms and games installed.
I have RetroFlow Launcher installed.
Is it possible to get a list of all games which are installed on my PS-Vita?
I would like to keep track an all games and also rank them in a excel sheet.
Thanks
Is there a way to track a vita if it goes missing? It does have location based software right? So is tracking possible? And are there other security measures other than lock code that can be implemented?
