Are there any Juneteenth/Freedom Day celebrations this weekend in the Tri-State area?
Hey everybody!
So yesterday, my SO and I got a mail in ballot in the mail, but I could have sworn we registered to vote in person and not by mail. Did Covid change things? If I do the mail in ballot will it count or will I have to go in person? I don’t mind, I live in a smaller town where people won’t be up at 6am to vote and a lot of people here are tourists so it wouldn’t be a problem, I just wanna make sure my vote counts in the primary!
This is a sub dedicated to Bernie Sanders so I’m sure I don’t have to explain how we need to take action and fight for better wages, hazard pay, and rights as workers. We are essential but we are treated like we are expendable. The time to organize is now! It’s the perfect time to do this. What better way to go about it? Don’t go to work, or just don’t do anything. Let’s put the pressure of their boots on them this time.

Jeff Van Drew, who changed from a moderate Democrat to a Trump supporting Republican, is up for election this year. I've tried to research the Democrats running to challenge him and I'm not sure who the best choice would be. Any thoughts?
