This is a long shot but if you know anybody in Helena, Arkansas who could help, let me know: I'm registered to vote in Arkansas but live in France. I missed the deadline to cast my absentee ballot online by one day. I can still vote in the primary if someone drops off my absentee ballot at the Philips County Clerk. The deadline to request the ballot is Monday 4:30 PM. Please message me if you can help. This is really important to me but I no longer know a soul in Helena as I lived there only a few months for work years ago.
Just voted at Lamen LIbrary in NLR. In the span of about 10 minutes around 2:00, There were I think 9 poll workers and one voter. ...me. And I say 10 minutes because I was chatting with different poll workers about any issues they've seen or their thoughts on turnout.
They were all perplexed at the VERY low turnout. They said they've not broken 200 people a day yet. And that's most polling locations. Not sure what's going on, but at first I was troubled, but then I thought it might work in our favor. Hopefully, the few who are turning up are folks like us.
