What if we had a ballot that allowed for a variety of candidates with a variety of ideas instead of just the two party monoliths? What if we had a ballot that actually disincentivized negative partisanship?
Why don't we have these ballots yet? r/RankTheVoteNebraska
Are you tired of the duopoly the two party system presents us? Tired of "lesser of two evils" voting? Do you want to see the multiple candidates on a ballot regardless of political parties? Ranked Choice Voting is the answer.
Come join fellow civic-minded Nebraskans for a non-partisan discussion on Ranked Choice Voting! Learn how you can get involved with our group, Rank the Vote Nebraska, to give our voters a stronger voice in every election.
For our September Action meeting, we are encouraging interested parties to take action to help make ranked choice voting a reality in Nebraska! We will use break out rooms for our volunteers to learn more about our team approach to organizing.
How can your individual talents help strengthen our organization? Action teams include: Social Media, Legislative Outreach, Technology, and Policy & Research.

We are an organized group of Nebraskans dedicated to bringing Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) to our local and statewide elections. RCV will:
- Ensure that winning candidates receive a true majority of voter support
-Remove the "spoiler effect" allowing voters to truly vote their conscience
-Discourage negative ads between political opponents
- Increase the power of every individual voter's voice
But we need your help to make it happen! To get involved, fill out our sign up form here https://forms.gle/1Te6UFHDawjXKxH99 or e-mail us at rankthevotenebraska@gmail.com!

Senator Dan Hughes, the head of the Natural Resources Committee, has been saying that LR 294, the resolution about climate change written by 11, 12, 13, and 14 year olds, is merely a “learning opportunity” and that as few people as possible should speak about it, so as not to waste the Senate’s time.
This is his phone number: (402) 471-2805
Please call him and politely tell him that climate change isn’t an issue that should be swept aside, that Senators have a moral obligation to listen to younger generations, to take their hopes and fears seriously.
Then get down to room 1525 in the Nebraska state capitol tomorrow at 1:30 and speak in favor of LR294. Pack the room. This senator may believe that children’s voices aren’t important; show these children you disagree.
If you can not make it, please follow the following steps by 5:00 today to submit written testimony:
Email mmizerski@leg.ne.gov (the Natural Resources Committee clerk) and Committee Chairperson Dan Hughes at dhughes@leg.ne.gov
State why you want the senate to take climate change seriously.
State that you are in support of passing LR294 and ask them to vote the resolution out of committee.
