The Supreme Court just ruled in the case of McGirt v. Oklahoma that the Eastern Half of Oklahoma is now considered a Native American reservation for the purposes of criminal justice. Here’s why the Supreme Court ruled that way and what it means.
I think that even if Sanders gets the nomination that we will need all the help we can get to make sure his policies go through. Also if he doesn't get the nod. Then we need to start a ground game of electing as many progressive candidates in all other areas of government possible.

Hey folks, I'm having an organize your friends event February 18th at 7pm around 85th & Delaware in Tulsa! Further details in the link. Want to join me for this Bernie Sanders for Oklahoma event? https://www.mobilize.us/s/qTfpaI
If you're on the fence about getting involved, your not alone. I missed the first event I signed up for, due to social anxiety. Two months later, I'm hosting events for Bernie. I've met some of the best people American has volunteering for this campaign. It's empowering to get involved and the campaign makes it easy.
So if you want to get involved, but are worried about cold calling or knocking door in red Oklahoma, this is a great way to dip your toe in. It'll be a small group. We'll be discussing strategies and tools to get folks we know who may support Bernie excited to vote on March 3rd.
Also the campaign is having a GOTV (get out the vote) Barnstorm even tonight at 6pm in the Pearl District that should be very well attended if want to attend something larger. Want to join me for this Bernie Sanders for Oklahoma event? https://www.mobilize.us/s/0yu22v
I just want to encourage folks to do all they think they can, and take it a step further. Conversations with people you know and face to face contacts are some of the most effective ways for us to ensure Bernie gets a great delegate haul from Oklahoma. The campaign does all it can to help, so take that step and we'll be here to support you in whatever you can do!
I've donated several times to Bernies campaign, but never bothered to register because being in a primarily red state I didn't think my vote mattered. I had to renew my tag today and was literally sitting in the lobby waiting in line at 5 pm and happened to see the post in this sub about today being the deadline to register. So along with renewing my tag, I also registered to vote! So whoever posted the reminder, thank you! Here's to making us progressive Okie voices matter!
