I think it’s a given that Chicago will be sellers this year. They should be trying to maximize assets for the next few drafts. So what do we think the returns might look like for Hall, Martinez, AA etc? Even with salary retained, I don’t see the Hawks getting any 1sts.
My wife and I are from Atlanta, we're planning to visit Chicago in December and I thought it'd be cool to see an actual NHL game. Would I get my ass beat for wearing my Thrashers Jersey?
I currently am paying for Hulu premium (90 bucks a month) because last year this is what I needed to catch the hawks games. Now I hear that fubo and nbc Chicago will be playing the games. Since I’m in Milwaukee I’m not sure what I need to catch the games. Anyone know what’s going on yet?
Wow, look at the time fly! It's already time for another weekly installment of STOP IT RIGHT THERE!
You know what to do...post up all the stuff you've saved up knowing it would get deleted from the front page of /r/hawks by the crypto-anarcho-fascist mods.
Memes, gear/jersey pics, poems you've penned professing your love for Lord Hossa (The One True King), or links to article about some oddball couple in Manitoba who named their kid Duncan Seabrook. Whatever. We don't give a shit.
The only rule here is to be excellent to each other. Civility matters.
Now get to it!!

drafting levshunov at #2 has me wondering what our D core will ideally look like in the next couple years.
Levshunov is obviously a talented defenseman who seems to have an offensive upside while also being really responsible defensively which is great, almost reminds me of heiskanen.
korchinski makes me really excited, he looks like he’ll be a really explosive offensively and hopefully will quarterback our powerplays. he had a really rough first year but figures given the roster.
vlasic has proven he can be an unreal defensive defenseman, and has worked well on the pairing with jones. jones is 29 and, while good, probably will regress in the next few years, if not traded. hopefully vlasic is consistent beyond this year.
and then there’s rinzel, kaiser, philips, and del mastro: where do they fit in? who hits and who doesn’t? what everyone thinks our D core will look like. who’s our 1D? is it korch, levshunov? i’m interested in other peoples perspectives.
Does anyone know if Hulu with Live TV will be getting the new Chicago Sports Network when it goes live?
After receiving an email from Hulu stating that NBC Sports Network will no longer be carried on their Live TV package after September 30th, I realized that I still haven't seen confirmation of where the new Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) will be carried. Just an indication that "The network will launch with agreements in place with traditional cable providers, streaming services and be available via free, over-the-air broadcast."
Has anyone seen a confirmed list of providers who will carry the new network so I can stop freaking out that I may have to change my streaming service (again)?
I’m visiting some friends in october and they mentioned theyre going to the hawks/sabres game. Im trying to get seats in their row but some resell sites dont provide exact seat numbers. I ended up buying two tickets and theyre on the opposite end of the row as my friends so now im wondering if i try to resell those and try again or just keep them and hope some nice people are willing to switch or scoot down for me. What are the odds the game sells out? Do i have a good chance of reselling the tickets i bought? Or in the case i keep them am i naive to think someone would be willing to switch seats with me? (Theyre in a 300s corner section)

Father in law gave me a puck he said he got signed by some rookies quite a few years back.
Can anyone identify either?
I’m pretty jealous of what the Sharks offseason has looked like. From the draft haul they got this year (Celebrini, Dickinson, Chernyshov), contracts they’ve taken to increase capital while they still suck, and now trading for Askarov to grow with the core of the team..
To me they have a much brighter future ahead of them. Hope I’m wrong
Jay was solo (with Lawrence EPing) and while it was rocky at times, it was one of the more memorable episodes.
Jay talks about his time and opinions on the Score and a few personalities. A real interesting anecdote on Carlton Fisk (and Doug Buffone and others). His high school senior year being a bad experience. And oh yeah, some interesting Hawks talk like the Askarov situation.
Enjoyable and memorable nuggets of info for Chicago media diehards.
Big thanks to Jay for being the main reason I still listen.
