Howdy - my wife wants the sweater for Christmas . Some shady ones available online, or I guess the giveaway one from Wrigley off eBay.
Can I get a decent licensed one made with quality somewhere?

Does anyone happen to have the autograph schedule from last year? I have this large multisigned print I took last year but apparently I stopped writing down the last few hours Saturday who signed it. I'd remember if I could find the schedule of Saturdays autos. Anyone still have a screen shot from the app?
What are inside jokes or catchphrases that only true Cubs fans would know? Is it possible to do in 6 words or less? The best ChatGPT could come up with is: “Fly the W!" Can you do better?
Coming into town on the 30th and staying until the 1st. Our friends and us want to bar hop. What are some awesome bars and taverns/restaurants we should put on our must go to list that's near Wrigley Field? We are staying at a hotel called The Willows which is south of there.

Social media and even reporters often say “if x star ends a team’s championship drought, they’ll be treated like kings in the city for the rest of their lives.”
For a drought as extreme as the Cubs, I’m curious how the fans/media/local city treats names like Kris Bryant, Baez, Jon Lester, Jake Arrieta…etc., when they come back to the city in any capacity (either in attendance for a game or returning as an away player)?

I had this coversation with my buddy over the holiday, and wanted to see what you all thought.
If the line up turns out to be pretty much what we have now and if shaw were to take over at second, Do you think we could have 8 guys hit 20+ homers . These are the numbers from the last few years
Happ 25, 21, 17, 25
Belli 18, 26, 19, 10 in half a season
Seiya 21, 20, 14
Paredes 19, 31, 20
Dansby 16, 22, 25, 27
Bush 21 in his only season
Then that leave PCA and Shaw. PCA seemed to find his stroke after he came back up and I think Shaw looks like the real deal so far.
So while we might not end up with a 40 hr guy i think we will have pop up and down the linup . The Dback had the most 20+ homer guys last year with 5 and several teams had 4 guys. Just wondered what you all thought.
Looking at the rotation, we can safely assume the following...
SP Shota Imagana
SP Justin Steele
SP Jameson Tallion
SP Javier Assad
The 5th starting spot is the only rotation piece that is in question in my mind. Internally could be between Wicks, Killian, and Brown. Could be filled via trade or free agent as well.
For the bullpen...
Porter Hodge
Eli Morgan
Tyson Miller
Hayden Wesneski
Ben Brown
Nate Pearson
Luke Little
Do we think Jed will add to this list? Who would you remove from that list?

Hey everyone! Greetings from Argentina!
I’m planning a trip to the States in August 2025, and I want to take my dad to Wrigley Field for the Orioles series happening from August 1st-3rd. We’ve been huge baseball fans since 2010, and this is going to be a big surprise for him—I’m getting the tickets as a gift for his 75th birthday.
I’d love some advice on the best place to buy tickets and which sections you’d recommend for a good price. This might be the last time he gets to experience a game like this, so I really want it to be special.
Thank you so much for your help, and go Cubs!
I know we are all disappointed in the fact that the cubs didn’t even make a call to Soto. We have to understand our owner is struggling financially after purchasing a soccer team. I know it’s sad to see that they likely won’t be in the market for a top tier starter. But how awesome does Gallagher way look?
I, for one, would hate to see bellinger traded. To win in 2025 you need that bat in the lineup. Look what he did just a season ago. But if you want to continue with the trend of kicking the can down the road, sure let’s move him and give Cassie 400 at bats. He is a blue chip prospect of course (sarcasm). I am so fucking tired of a team who is supposed to be able to play ball with the dodgers, Yankees, Mets, etc in terms of a destination for top free agents, signing Jameson tailon and dansby Swanson and expecting us as fans to be pumped about it.
Why not try to contend?
MIL is the clear leader in the division. But they’re loosing an all star shortstop and most likely an allstar closer. Plus they were not as good in the second half.
STL might as well go by the Dead Birds.
PIT and CIN have some nice pieces but should the CHICAGO CUBS really let them compete?
I’m sick of the community being perennial prospect huggers, drinking the ricketts and Jed kool aid and going along with the “wait til next year” mantra that we’ve confusingly bought into. We heard after 2023 that the window was open. So let’s get go! Let’s go get… Michael Busch? Hector Neris? Sure imanaga and Busch ended up working out but it wasn’t nearly enough. Still we roll out with a hodgepodge bullpen… Madrigal, mastrobounni and Mike tauchmann all got semi regular playing time. Would they be on the 40 man in LA or NY? I mean for fucks sake, Wisdom’s hot month in 2021 bought him 3 more years than he should have had! But window is open right?
The time is now to add. Instead of bitching about playing the kids, go use them and trade for what you don’t have: A star. (Even the pirates and reds have a star lol) There’s a STAR first baseman north of the border. Trade for him and work out an extension. You’re the freakin cubs you can find a way to afford it. You know who you could probably get without giving up the top tier talent? There’s a controllable former all star mvp caliber outfielder in the same city who would benefit more than any player in baseball with a change of scenery. let belli walk but don’t bank on rookie production!! Could probably get him for a basket of non top 10 prospects.
But alas. We all sit here knowing the cubs’ major moves of the offseason will not be a trade for a star. It won’t be signing a Corbin Burnes, max fried type pitcher (with snell already off the market). It won’t be an Alex Bregman or Pete Alonso.
Once again Jed and co. will convince us fans that Sean Manea(maniea? Mania? Mantis Tobagon? ) is sufficient for the big add. And adding Jose leclerc or Kyle finnegan will certainly lock down the 9th. They’ll win 85 games and flirt with the postseason but not be a serious contender. This team will once again be the coleslaw at the bbq. It will be the over the pants handjob at the party. It will be the Casey affleck of oceans 11. It will be the… same exact thing as the fucking Bears (CW IS A STUD HELP THE MAN OUT).
Well wrigley bleachers will always be a great place to get drunk for a hundred bucks. Sluggers will be a great place to get drunk for a hundred bucks. Crowe will be a great place to get drunk for a hundred bucks. The only thing that will save this team is getting the “missing piece”. Anybody got Milton Bradley’s number?
Go cubs go.
I know a lot of the big dogs like Soto and Burnes are out of reach for the team, but what are some other, maybe lesser talked about free agents the cubs should pursue?
He’s got a lot of merch but what’s something special? Any ideas? Suggestions? Tips? Thank you
For me it's "Spirits" by the Strumbellas because of the pregame video for game 7.

Hey Cubs fans.
My Grandma recently passed away and my family found her EXTENSIVE collection of Vineline Magazines. We were thinking of just throwing them away, but I just figured I'd reach out to you folks and see if anyone is interested in them. They're all in really good condition.
Just DM me and let me know! Go Cubs go!

I don’t want to hear “they’ll use that money elsewhere”, because (1) they don’t need to choose and (2) they won’t use it, Tom will keep it. I don’t want to hear he’s “blocking” anyone. The NL had a DH, Bellinger can play several positions, we have no idea if these unproven minor leaguers will ever be able to hit anyway, and quite frankly the Cubs aren’t good enough to use this as a reason anyway.
In 2016 I don’t remember anyone saying to get rid of one Montero or Ross because Wilson was blocked. I don’t remember people being mad about bringing back Fowler because it’d block Soler. Nobody was angry about having Russell, Baez, Zobrist, Bryant, and Rizzo share four infield spots. Depth is a good thing, and “blocked” is bullshit propaganda by a team that doesn’t want to spend.
