This guy is saying Bellevue is noisy and he can't sleep at night.
It reads like he's talking about Seattle, but apparently not. There's rich kids racing cars at night apparently. Is this accurate?
Bellevue has a reputation of being chill, even dull - and safe, low homeless, low crime. So this post caught me by surprise.
Is this legit?
Hello everyone. I am moving to Bellevue in the last week of November and looking to rent a 1B 1B apartment. My budget is around $1500-$1800 per month. My office is in Bellevue downtown . Would really appreciate any leads as to which location would be great to find one.
Hi! Are there any places nearby that offer weekly dance lessons for two-step/line dancing? I know of a few country bars in Tacoma but was hoping to find something closer to home in Bellevue. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!
Just curious, which tech giant is it? Is it Amazon ?
Hey everyone! I will be moving to Bellevue area soon and looking for a 1B1B (not studios). I will be staying with my partner and since both of us are working, looking for a good sized unit (>600 sq ft) to have our workstations set up. Looking for some recommendations. Budget around $2200. TIA.
Hi everyone! I’m considering applying to the Diagnostic Sonography program at Bellevue College (and maybe the Radiologic Tech program as well), and I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been through it or is currently in it. I have no medical background and these past few years I’ve been juggling if I want to do this profession or not so I thought it’d be helpful to hear from some people who are currently in either program or already finished. I just have some general questions. Feel free to answer whichever ones, anything helps!
Questions I have:
1. How did you decide on Diagnostic Sonography? Was there something specific that drew you to it?
2. How was the application process? Any tips or things you wish you’d known beforehand?
3. Clinical Experiences: How was the clinical portion of the program? Did it feel hands-on enough, and were the sites you worked at a good fit?
4. Difficulty of Scanning & Reading Scans: My biggest worry is that I won’t understand what I’m seeing on the scan. I know they’ll teach us, but how challenging is it to actually see what you’re scanning and make sense of it? Will you get the help that you need for understanding? Any time to practice?
5. Physical Strain: Is there a lot of strain on your body, like from repetitive motions or standing for long periods?
6. Class and Clinical Hours: What are the hours like? Both in terms of classes and clinicals, I’d love to know what a typical schedule might look like.
Any advice, insights, or things you wish you’d known before starting would be super helpful! Thank you so much!
Anyone know what’s going on near the 140th st lake hills area? I can hear police speaking over an intercom telling someone to come out with their hands up.
Happened today between 6-8:30 Pm it was located in the lower garage near the B&N bookstore front. Locked to the rack, if anyone has seen anything please contact me. My name is Jesse, you might recognize me I’m the guy who practices telekinesis in the mall in the afternoons with the crown 👑
Thanks ☮️
It’s been almost one year since The Pro Club was acquired by The Bay Club, a fitness chain based out of California. I’ve noticed a lot has changed for the worse and I am curious what everyone’s opinion is of the club in general.
I am renting a 1b1b at The Meyden with a patio overlooking Bellevue Way.
It's available to move in immediately.
Lease ends in July 2025.
The rent is $2330/month, utilities extra. I will reimburse you for a house cleaning.
Please feel free to DM me for pics or any questions! :-)
My landlord incurred a late fee charges of $150 due to a payment method change by him on the portal. I paid my rent in time excluding late payment charges. Late charges kept on increasing $10 per day till it reached $400 in around couple of weeks. Is it legal for landlords to charge such high late fee on a rent of $1850/mo? Thanks
Hi folks, Anyone living in Brio in downtown can share some feedback about the apartment? I’m planning to relocate but wouldn’t have a chance to go personally to check it out.
Currently living in Seattle, work from home for Microsoft, and don't have a car. I'm in my mid-20s.
Therefore, I figure that it makes sense to live close to a light rail station.
Since I'm not tied to a location, I'm open to any light rail station - either 1 line (Seattle) or 2 line (Eastside).
I'm planning to rent a studio apartment that's a short walk the station.
What are the top choices and why? Right now I'm considering Roosevelt (Seattle) and Downtown Bellevue (Eastside).
My preferences are to be a short walk from a grocery store, gym, and be in an area with few vagrants that's not very noisy. I'd also like to be in a reputable apartment building and I'm willing to pay a premium on rent for that.
Seattle has a lot of crime, homeless, and drug problems. However, people keep saying it's better to be in Seattle if you are single. How true is this?
Good Morning! I live in Bellingham and my Mom and sister live in Yakima. They both have birthday's in November and we are looking for a restaurant "in the middle". Since the actual middle is not a great place for food we are looking for some place on the eastside for lunch/dinner. The problem is that my Mom is really picky. I was hoping to get reservations for Tendon Kohaku because we could all find something we liked there. (She loves sashimi and sweet potatoes.) Unfortunately, I could only find very late reservations and my family would prefer not to be driving home at midnight.
I am pescatarian and my Mom is allergic to shrimp, buckwheat, and brazil nuts (Very allergic so it's important that the place handles food safely, I don't want to go to the hospital.) She doesn't like anything "too spicy" and my Sister and Brother-in-law both like spicy or other adventurous foods. It would be great to find a place where we can do early dinner or late lunch. My Sister and I would love an Asian restaurant but it's not a requirement. It is a huge plus if the place takes reservations as we are a party of 5 and everyone will be driving into town.
Thank you so much for any help.
I’ve noticed a dramatic increase of younger kids (11-14) riding what are effectively electric motorcycles on the street recently. These aren’t just electric bikes, but effectively Class 3 e-bikes or full on electric dirt bikes which require a rider to be 16 years old and licensed. Often times these kids are also failing to observe basic rules of the road and darting in and out of traffic. Just yesterday a kid was speeding by my house behind their friend’s car that was doing 40+ in a school zone. Yes, some of these bikes do 40+.
While I have no problem with e-bikes, I seriously wonder why the police aren’t getting involved and stopping people who are obviously well below 16 as required by law. You can bet their parents would try and sue the crap out of a driver if there was an accident.
Hey folks, my partner was in Bellevue for a work trip this past week. They lost an item called a PokéWalker while walking around between the Hyatt Regency and some bars nearby. It looks like a Tamagotchi mixed with a Pokéball.
If by chance someone finds it, could you send me a message so that I can get it returned to her? She’s very distraught about its disappearance.
Parked in their garage and went in shopping in Safeway at Safeway 300 Bellevue Way Northeast to get some groceries. I was only in for 40 minutes and when I came back to my car I found my tires had been double chalked and a parking ticket from ABM Parking Seattle on the windshield for a parking violation for $60 stating I have parked for over the two hours.
Apparently their supposed parking officers are faking tickets and evidence to make ABM Parking Seattle money on unsuspecting customers that use the lot.
I have GPS car log data showing what time I parked and how long I stayed shopping at Safeway. Planning on filing this with Attorney General.
Never shopping at any Safeway or Albertsons stores again after this experience.
Hey folks,
Moving to Bellevue. Can’t come to check out the apartments in perks so relying heavily on online recommendations. I’m currently looking at Avalon but they have so many monthly charges with very little flexibility. What are your thoughts on Avalon Towers, any other recommmendation that I can look at in the downtown area?
Hi guys, I was wondering what the average cost for yard maintenance is in the area? We recently had a guy come over to give us an estimate and I expected maybe $300-500 but I just got the estimate back for $1300+.
I'm not super familiar with yard care but is that normal for leaf cleanup, lawn mowing, and deheading a few plants? We're renting a 1,930 square ft house so the yard is a nice size but not crazy big I think? The front yard is smaller and mostly dirt and a couple flowers that also need to be deheaded. I guess I'm partly worried because I mentioned to the guy that we were new to renting a house and weren't sure how this stuff worked, so I wanna check if this is standard and that he's not taking advantage haha
Thanks!
I'm looking to move near 98005 Bellevue (ish) in end of November/December, coming from about 1.5hrs South. Any ideas?
Obviously this doesn't exist directly in Bellevue since it's so expensive, but I can live about 1hr in work traffic in any direction
Any help is greatly appreciated
I've heard that the big one will hit. Soon. And IDK? Is it? It probably will. And from what I've heard. It's not going to be pretty (9.0)
The Seattle Area is ****ed in the event of an earthquake, because of the tsunami threats, but if a 9.0 were to hit, then are we also f-ed? I've heard from so many sources two things.
1: We're f-ed. Bellevue is basically costal, and a 9.0? CATOSATROPHIC. The earthquake will bring building after building, and tsunami will raise everything to the ground.
2: We're fine. Bellevue is in the east. By the time the earthquake is over, we won't have much damage, just some local issues. Anyways, the tsunami will slowly die by the time it even gets to Bellevue, calm down.
Bunch of cops around Soma Towers, plus helicopter circling (?)
Anyone knows what’s going on?
Anyone know what’s going on here the building is surrounded by police
Friend is listing their apartment for rent in the Juanita Village area. It's furnished. It can be unfurnished as well.

What are some fun activities in bellevue for an anniversary date? Also for restaurant suggestions. Thank you
Beautiful fall colors at the playground today.
Hi All, I am yet to see fall for the first time in life and was keen to know the spots. After some google search I got to know about Arboretum and Botanical gardens. However I hv a time scrunch and can manage barely one. I am more keen to visit Botanical as it is nearby, and bellhop works fine. But many people suggested that fall is more of a timing thing otherwise one can miss beautiful foliage.
Would love to know if anybody has visited in this or past two weeks. Thank you.
Hey all!
I recently moved to the area and I am looking for a reasonably priced salon. My hair is blonde balayage so looking to maintain that and get my hair cut! I know it’ll be a couple hundred but hoping to keep it under within the $250-$350 range. I don’t mind Redmond, Bellevue, or Kirkland area! I appreciate any recommendations you have!
