Woodinville is one the most culturally and economically significant cities in the Pacific Northwest. The majesty of our great city gives us a rare opportunity for a superb local subreddit. Let's show /r/Bothell and /r/Redmond that we have the spirit to eclipse their subscriber count, but to get there we are going to need a lot more participation and advertisement. Help get your friends and family in on the grand floor of what will be the definitive cultural touch stone for all citizens of Woodinville. Getting to that level is going to take work, of course, and our first step to achieving our goal is to secure 500 subscribers. I believe in each and every one us, we can achieve this lofty goal but only if we get to work immediately.

I love the looks of the winery restaurants on Rt 202. They all look so cute. What are your favorites? Any cozy/romantic spots for a date night?
Hello everyone!
I’m a genealogist & I am trained in discovering local Washington family lineages and stories through historical records.
This is the interest form I put together for anyone interested in learning more about their Washington family history. I create family trees, historical road trip itineraries, ancestral maps, etc! It’s a super cool way to connect with your own history and great knowledge pass down to future generations.
Here are some things you can discover from my research:
If you are interested, please view the interest form with some examples. 🙂Professional Instagram w/ reviews: heritage.hunters
If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message!
I don't know if I'm allowed to post this here. I will delete it If that's a problem.

Hello,
I hope this is okay to post. If not, please let me know! My name is Michelle, and I am a senior dental hygiene student at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. I am currently looking for patients to fulfill my requirements for graduation! If you, or someone you know, is interested in receiving high quality dental care at a low cost please send me a direct message, e-mail at MichelleB.RDH@gmail.com, or call/ text me at (646)-980-7227 (this is a New York number I have set-up via Goggle Voice for my own privacy, I promise I am legit and local). I have set up a little website with some helpful information about me, a rundown on what the appointments entail, and current pricing information. My school takes most insurances (including Apple Health), but if you are worried about the cost please reach out to me and we can discuss things further as I do not want cost to deter you from reaching out to me.

I'm looking for recommendations for someone to clean my gutters and the moss from my roof, since I am unable to do it myself at the moment due to health reasons.
I'd prefer a local business rather than one of the chain companies due to previous bad experience.
I have a bet with my wife. Did Old Navy used to be over by Target?
I’m a teen who just moved to Woodinville. I was wondering if there were any teens who knew some good places to hangout.
Check indeed to apply! They are hiring for all positions. I’ve only worked there about a month and I’ve already learned so much.. and got to see a pig, goats, a serval cat and an otter! It is hard work but so rewarding. I never worked with animals before but my admin and customer service experience has helped me in my front desk position. If you’re easily overwhelmed, struggle with difficult customer service situations, or are unable to multitask - this isn’t the job for you unless you’re willing to work through that! It is definitely emotionally exhausting sometimes but the days go by fast and it’s usually very fun. We need new staff, COVID prompted so many animal adoptions and we are busy busy busy. No need to message me, just apply through indeed! (But you can message me if you have questions)
Anybody know what happened to that homeless guy in the wheelchair that would always hang outside the AMC/Haggen and would always yell “Help me?!” Just curious
It is now October 2nd, barely, and I can clearly hear someone jackhammering intermittently. It seems to come from near downtown Woodinville.
I'm looking for volunteers who own property in King County to complete a survey about green infrastructure. The purpose of this research survey is to find out how green infrastructure incentives offered by local governments influence the willingness of King County residents to install things like rain gardens, rain barrels, and other stormwater handling solutions on their properties. We would also like to find out how King County residents who own property feel about the different types of infrastructure that could help reduce stormwater pollution in Puget Sound. Respondents must be over 18 years of age and own property in King County to participate.
After acknowledgment of the informed consent page, the main survey takes about 5 minutes. No personally identifying information such as name or address will be requested. There will be no compensation or cost to you; you may stop the survey at any time; all responses will be kept confidential.
The study title is Effectiveness of Green Infrastructure Incentive Mechanisms: A Case Study in King County, Washington. Its IRB number is STUDY001207. Please contact the Primary Investigator, Oluwa Jackson, at oluwajackson@usf.edu if you would like more information about this study.
The results of this survey will be useful in crafting local policy to help keep our local waterways and Puget Sound clean. Make your voice heard today! Click the link below to begin.
It's time for another Beat the Geek Trivia!

If you register, I'll create a Microsoft Teams account for you so you can:
Register your team name HERE
then register your team players HERE
If you don't register:
There are five rounds of trivia, ten questions per round. The categories are:
College Sports Team Names
U.S. Presidents
Pictures - Watercolor Cinema
Music - Songs About Body Parts
And "Before and After"
FAQ
- nope. 2. Why do you want me to register?
- I don't care if you do. But if you want an answer booklet that gets graded and is included in the competition with other teams, I need to create an Office 365 account for "you", which means I need your first and last name, and an email so I can send you the login information and playing instructions. I keep your account active incase you want to participate in any future Beat the Geek Trivia "Online" events.
- No. Unless you opt out, I'll send you occasional emails about other Beat the Geek Trivia "online" events. Otherwise, I'll leave you alone.
I'm Mark. I started Beat the Geek Trivia in Redmond, WA (near Seattle) back in 2009. Before COVID-19, me and my 12 other trivia hosts were conducting about 30 shows a week plus private parties and corporate events. We were doing great! But since the COVID bomb dropped, we've all been stuck at home and we're looking for a way to scratch that "trivia night" itch. So I've had to re-invent the company and re-create how we deliver our original, fast-paced, and lively trivia games. I'm doing these free shows and sharing them with Reddit to grow our audience and get your feedback.
- Sure, submit a picture HERE
- Go to my WEBSITE. There's a bunch of useful/useless information there. HERE's a short "boomer-friendly" video on how to log into Microsoft Teams and access your answer booklet. You can vid-conf with your teammates in Microsoft Teams and watch the presenter in a separate browser window. Mobile devices ARE NOT recommended.
- nope. I don't give a $hi+ about your email address. I just need to send your registration info to you.

Hi! A group of four of us will be wine tasting in Woodinville this coming Saturday. Looking for a late morning/lunch food rec and some local favorite wineries to hit up, ideally smaller production with great reds and good views in the tasting room. Thanks! Can’t wait!
Hi all,
I'm organizing a group bike ride this Sunday 11/17. We'll be riding slow, riding on the bike trail, for about an hour total of casual riding. Come get some light exercise, meet friends and neighbors, and get brunch. All ages welcome.

My furnace burned out a relay (again) and I called my normal place to see when they could come out to repair it. Their response was "call back in a month", so I'm clearly not using these guys again.
Anyone have a referral for a decent furnace repair place? I see the trucks for Bob's Heating driving around, are they any good? I'm also potentially looking for a place that can replace the entire furnace in the somewhat near future.
