Hi, I work for a consulting company that has focused in helping executive teams change their mindsets and behaviors to drive culture change. Now we are creating an startup that aims to do the same but at scale. We started deploying cohort based courses but still havent cracked the code to have more than 50% completion rates. We want to focus in transformation (behavior change), and not only in traditional teaching/learning approach. I am looking to connect with professionals who like this challenge so we can start a conversation and explore ideas. Anyone interested?
Hey guys!
I and my friend are currently working on an app that helps you to build habits. We will use 4 different techniques such as finding your purpose, action planning, accountability and reward which will help change your behaviour. You can choose your individual habit in the future, but we mainly focus on:
We first want to do MVP testing and it would help a lot if some of you could maybe try it out in the testing stage and give us feedback so we don't waste time building it haha
This is a non-commercial idea and we are not planning to make money from it, we just want to create something cool that people can actually benefit from!
If you are down you can shoot me a message or use this link :) https://forms.gle/PcmVZvtT4SVo2Peu9
(Lmk what you think or if you have any other ideas that you would like to see)
Parents who've sent children to boarding/military school, what were your reasons for sending a child to military/boarding school? If you had to do it again, would you? What was the experience of having a child away at school (for both child/parent)?
Fiancee's daughter is out of control, and my opinion is she needs boarding school (badly). FWIW, child is under 13, and we live in the northern US.
I would especially like to hear from behavioural scientists or anyone in a related field. Thank you!
Have you ever decided to make a change in your behavior for your personal well-being?
We are a research team at the University of Washington, Seattle. We are interested in understanding experiences that motivate behavior change for personal well-being. We want to learn what motivates people to decide to change behavior(s) and how we can design for people who may not yet be motivated to change behavior(s) for personal well-being.
If you have ever made a decision to change your behavior and and you are 18 years old and above, please consider taking this survey:
http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/3130069/personal-well-being
This survey should take 20-25 minutes of your time. When you reach the end of the survey, you will have an opportunity to enter into a drawing to win $50 in gift cards. Your personal information will not be disclosed to anyone other than the team conducting the research and all data will be anonymized.
Please feel free to contact arpitab@uw.edu with any questions. Thank you for your interest and time
I'm looking for an Android version/app that's comparable to Apple iOS's "iCBT" app. So far the apps I've found don't appear to have the critical function that iCBT offers, which is that it emails to your therapist in real time. The apps I've tried so far are:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.excelatlife.cbtdiary
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.excelatlife.depression
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.moodtools.cbtassistant.app
(If any of those have a feature like I've mentioned above, I haven't been able to find it.)
Does anybody have any recommendations?
