nyc queer punk band seeks advice 4 releasing debut album
hey yall, my band, KLOVIS GAYNOR & THE URINAL CAKES, plan to release our first major album this winter & we are looking to work with a pr agency that specializes in queer stories. Does anyone have any advice or insight in queer music pr? or even just how to make a big splash when releasing new music for community? We play in NYC regularly & go on tour throughout new england this november which will help but wondering what else we can do to get our project to those who will resonate with it. Any queercore publications or playlists we should be submitting to? thanks!

Seeking to expand collection of dance songs by trans and queer artists
Hi all, I am a queer dj and would like to get recommendations for additional artists to support. I am most interested in less well known trans artists who have bandcamp, as well as specific song recs. Among bisexual and pansexual cis artists I am especially interested in songs with gay or bisexual content, in terms of my personal collection. I have looked a bit at the collection of work from Quay Dash, Arca, Eartheater, Shygirl, Coucou Chloe, Nicole’s Revenge (no bandcamp sadly), Hirsute Pursuit but haven’t found good matches for the kind of dance music I want, particularly that are available on Bandcamp. I still need to look more at Mel4Ever and AV Maria more.
