Found this in the trash when I was a kid but the closest thing I’ve come to is a Wehrmacht recruiting band?
Hoping this post will be educational for new collectors so maybe those with more experienced can hold off on commenting for a bit?
One of these crosses are fake. Can you tell which one and comment on why you think it's a fake? All are three piece construction with a magnet core. All measurements are consistent with original crosses.
(Hello i dont know if this post is allowed so it is not just tell me and i will cancel it)
Good morning i wnated to buy a repro of a b3 bomber jacket i found this one from avi it is quite expensive so before i buy it i whuld like to know if it is a good reproduction or if it is just an "homage" to the real thing
Looking at a bugle purported to be Japanese use from wwii. I don’t have pictures at hand but it is marked logo that says “Yamato” on top of exterior of the bell in Latin letters. The logo is circles with a line broken by small flowers.
It has a faded red rope with tassels and a black velvet/felt covering of the top two loops.
The presentation with cord and felt covering seems to be typical for Japanese military bugles. Anyone have insight into this maker? Surprised to see it marked with Latin letters. I know there are Japanese bugles with two tubing loops and three tubing loops, this one is two loops.
the seller said it was Japanese, but didn't know much else
Hello!
I saw a type of camo that I’ve not seen before and was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is.
Thank you :).
I recently found my grandfather's m65 and it's about 30-40 years old. It's really cool but it's metallic parts (such as the buttons) are rusty and it's itchy for some reason. What do I do? And why is it itchy?
Or rather, trier to Cologne and all of northern Germany between Cologne and Berlin? Reputable dealers? Generally going to be a straight shot.
It was my Great Aunts Grandfather's. It was patented 1906-1908 with About 5-6 Nations Listed, I can read Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Russia and Japan. Also wondering if there's any ways to restore it. Fyi found it in said Great Aunts Basement this year when rummaging through stuff, also found said Grandfathers Driving Googles. On the Cap it also has Chicago, Brooklyn, Toronto and I think something else on it.
Mainly looking for info such as Nations who used it, Official Name of the Canteen or Patent/Company. Thanks in Advance.
