How many of you have rifles where elevation zero has matched up with the correct setting on the rear sight?

Example: poa = poi at 100m using the 1 setting or 300m using 3 setting.

All my rifles zero’s seem wack.

• Mosin and Lee enfield hit dead on at 100m on 3 setting (enfield large aperture is unusable)

• k98 is wicked high at 100m on 1 setting

• k31 seems to be pretty accurate to 100m on 1 setting

I’ve been able to make consistent hits out to 300m with all but the k98 once I know the hold, but it’s frustrating that the rifles weren’t zeroed to match elevation settings. While watching 9 hole reviews, it seems as though the rifles shot have perfect zeroes that line up with the corresponding distance. Anybody else have a similar experience?

Does anyone know how long the cleaning rod is on a Turkish M38 short rifle?

I have restored a 1914 Enfield drill rifle and an M1 Carbine from just the receiver. Is this a good option for a good solid ishapore restoration, thinking of stripping the Drill Rifle and combining with the barreled receiver yo get a solid rifle. Thoughts?
