This does not support the Nazi party and/or fascism in any way! I just want people to post collection photos, good websites, interesting info, collectors tips. Any sort of cool info on various things. If someone starts posting pro-fascist propaganda or start Nazi trolling, I will have great enjoyment deleting the post. Trust me, I know the difference. Even though I am more WWII oriented, WWI items and sites are totally fine. Enjoy my militaria page!

Moin. I inherited my great-grandfather's dog tag and would like to know what the mk means. According to a forum it means military command (in Italy after the fall of Mussolini) but according to pictures he was stationed on the North Sea. Now I need help.
I inherited these from my German grandparents
I've got a quick question! I've seen photos of the Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, and SS evening dress tuxedo uniforms, but haven't come across the equivalent uniform for the Heer. What uniform model did the army wear as a social uniform?
This is a Hitler Bust that I bought years ago from the son of a WWII veteran. He told me his father was a U.S. Army tank crewman, and while rolling through Europe his father "liberated" the bust from a military airfield in Germany. He took the bust, wrapped it up, and carried it in the tank until the war ended and he returned home. The plaque on the front was slowly getting harder to read, and it looked like metal deterioration was taking over. I did a little gentle cleaning and was very pleased to see the brass plaque come out pretty well. It looks to me like it reads "From the men or officers of the Music Corps to the Air Base Commander, Merseburg." A presentation from the base's band to their commander. If anyone can translate it to its full correctness I'd greatly appreciate it.
