Thought you guys would appreciate a random stat
Hey guys,
So I have family in the KC area and this Fall I am looking to come down sometime when the MN Twins are playing the Royals, and I was wonder what seats you guys/recommend at thew Kaufmann? Usually I sit in the left bleachers of the outfield at Target Field, but I would love to know where the good seats are at Kaufmann.
Was thinking maybe….maybe we can get this guy. Just read an article about top 10 landing spots. As far as need we are in top 2 or 3 (no offense to the big fella) but of course….money. The Dodgers paid Ohtani 700 million and they apparently made 331 million of that back this year (on him). They need to do something in baseball or interest will continue to wane. Hardcore fans like us will remain but I don’t blame the casual fan for changing the channel when they see the Dodgers with 5 guys making 30 million a year. The Mets paid more in absentee salaries than our whole payroll. Santander was only Oriole I didn’t dislike after the wild card series last year! lol (Gunnar Henderson and Westberg staring slamming bats and staring pitchers down after walking…pleeeeewaaassseee) So glad we spanked them. Bring Santander to KC!!

I see a lot of disappointed fans, and I get it, I love Singer too, especially since he was here for some bad years, and I've seen people saying they'd rather we had traded Marsh, but I think that's a bad opinion. I think the front office was also preferring to trade Singer to Marsh. It's mostly an eye test thing to me, but I think Marsh has the type of stuff to be a number 2 starter next year.
Brady was the first pitcher the Royals took in their infamous 2018 draft, essentially making him the face of the post-championship rebuild on that side of the ball. That plus an imperfect career arc made him one of the most scrutinized players on the roster. That being said, he had three great seasons (2020, 2022, 2024) and the last one counted the most, ultimately leading to him striking out Aaron Judge in the post-season at home.
So long, Brady, and thanks for all the called strikes.
We get Jonathan India and Joey Weimer
