POSTING GUIDELINES |
---|
(1) All news posts shall be a direct link from the source. They shall be sourced with author's name in brackets eg. " [Name of Reporter] 'Title of tweet/article'". Titles shall not be editorialized or misleading. All other posts should have clear and concise titles. |
(2) Posts need to have some level of quality, and cannot be reposts. Text posts require at least 50 words in the body as a quality minimum; simple questions or often discussed topics should go in the daily discussion threads. |
(3) Memes are allowed 24/7, however the moderators have the discretion to remove "low effort" memes. This could be low resolution memes, reposted memes, or for any other reason. If you believe your meme was not low effort and was removed, please contact the moderators. High Quality Gifs are an exception to this rule, due to them being high quality by default. |
(4) "Facebook" type posts are only allowed as individual posts from Friday to Gametime. This includes pictures of merchandise, pictures of yourself in Chiefs gear, pictures of dogs in Chiefs gear, and things of that nature. During the week these are only allowed in the Daily Discussion posts. |
(5) "X fan here" posts are not allowed. If you want to say something to Chiefs fans, do so in post game threads or the daily discussion threads. |
(6) No unauthorized giveaways. As much as we all would love free tickets, it is impossible to verify the authenticity and follow-through of any transaction. If you have a compelling reason why your giveaway should be allowed, please reach out to the mods first for approval. |

We’ve already seen the easy ones and are getting into the more obscure rules. Will we see a one point safety on a two point conversion? Maybe Travis Kelce tries a drop kick in the middle of a run? We haven’t seen a win by a regular safety this year. Maybe we will be down by one, punt the ball away and get a safety to win by one.
What scenarios can we dream up for the nfl scriptwriters that are in the process of teaching the new swifty fans some of the more obscure rules of the nfl.
We could try teaching r/nfl some rules but those guys can’t be taught anything.
I’ve just recently joined this subreddit, so i’m not sure if i’m allowed to post this but i’ve just had a lot of trouble finding a specific game day pin. I’d like to gift it to my stepdad since he has gone to dozens of games and has a collection of game day pins, but he doesn’t have the pin from the first game he went to. It’s the only one he’s missing ,,,
It was the game vs the Bengals, but i just cannot find it anywhere, including ebay. I haven’t been able to find what it even looks like? Any help would be appreciated!
Chiefs kingdom I need your help. I am having a discussion with my friend about whether chiefs fans would ever root for the raiders. The hypothetical scenario in question is would chiefs fans root for the raiders if it meant we would get a 1 seed. Or would chiefs fans be content with a 2 seed if the raiders lose. Let me know what you think!
I watched every game of Mahomes' career and can distinctly remember one time he's done this. The famous Titans play in the AFCCG. I vaguely remember one time he did it last year during a random regular season game, but other than that I'm having trouble remembering anytime he's done this... According to R/NFL and the fanbases of the 31 other teams in the league, This is something he does repeatedly. So much so that it's evidently his fault that people are getting suspended and injured.
The evidence is out there. Please post these dozens of clips!
Edit - Thank you to people actually posting links. Keep em coming!
This is another really good breakdown from of the final play in the Chiefs/Raiders game. He's neither a chiefs nor a raiders fan. There was so much misinformation out there about the play being "blown dead" and this guy does a good job of putting that to rest. Of course, we all already know this, but it might help if you are arguing with someone and need something to share.

With CFB wrapping up, and many players' seasons over, passing on a bowl game, etc. Who is a player you've really liked this season - regardless of position - that you think could contribute to KC right away? A player you've watched that turned your head enough to now want on next year's Chiefs?
A couple later Round guys that I like are Missouri DE Johnny Walker, Jr. who could be available 3rd Round or later. He's also the same size as the Coach's Grandmother from Dazed & Confused. 6'3, 250, maybe runs a 4.5, 40-time. He was only 6'2, 195 in my day.
Vanderbilt has a TE named Eli Stowers, that has great hands, 6'4, 225, slot-style TE, runs intermediate and deep routes like Kelce and Gray. He runs a 4.5, 40-time.
East Carolina has a potentially great CB named Shavon Revel, Jr. who is quick/fast (4.4), and has size - 6'3, 195 lbs. His combine may make him a 2nd rounder, but he could also fall quite a bit as many of the blue bloods have a good corner coming out this year. I wouldn't mind KC moving up higher in the second round to get him if a bunch of corners go in the first round.
Who is your under-the-radar guy?

I was watching SNF last night and it was mentioned that it was Wards first game back for SF after being inactive due to the passing of his daughter in early November. Ward's 23-month-old daughter, Amani Joy, tragically passed away last month. She was born prematurely with Down syndrome and experienced heart issues since birth.
I know he is a 49er now but Ward spent 2018-2021 in KC and won a SB with KC in the 19-20 season. I know there are some of us that love to spread cheer and generosity during the holiday season so i thought it would be a good idea to share this with the sub. I can't imagine what he and his family must be going through. I think showing support for his charity is a good way of not only funding a good cause but also supporting a guy who helped us get to where we are as a dynasty today.

Happy Holidays and GO CHIEFS!
Hi everyone, I found this Chiefs hoodie at Union Station a couple years back, I think at the top of 2023. Right now it is by far my favorite hoodie due to how comfortable it is, and the material which is very light and breathable. However, I am entirely unable to find another one online to buy for my friends and family, who have all expressed interest in it. I also would like to preferably buy another one of this type for other sports teams like the Royals if at all available. My only clues are that it is Dri-Fit according to the label and Nike. Can anyone identify this product? Is it a fake, or maybe did they pull it? I cannot find it online for the life of me.
31 year old OT coming off an ACL injury is now supposed to the savior of our season. That's immense pressure and he's going to have his first game potentially against the Chargers D-Line next week which is really good.
I hope Humphries goes out there and balls out, but it's going to be a slow grind because coming back from an injury like that at a position like that is grueling.
I can't wait to see how he plays. What do you guys think?

MVS now has 4 tds in 7 catches for New Orleans, in 4 games. He is averaging 30 yards per catch. How is it we could not figure out how to get him involved? Is this a Nagy issue? Preference for indoor turf? Carr over Mahomes?
Sideline reporter just threw some shade KC's way. She said MVS told her he is just happy to part of a team that wants him to succeed.
I know he dropped some critical passes, both with KC and GB. Just reminds me a little of Joe Horn, which is not a good KC memory.
Many of you can likely guess what I’m referring to. The Jovan Belcher incident. I’m not going to describe what happened in detail…those of us old enough to remember know exactly what happened. Those too young to remember don’t need to hear about it here.
But I hope the family of his baby’s mother, and those former players and coaches in the parking lot that day, including Romeo Crenel, have been able to find as much peace as possible from such a dark day.
My favorite part was 1:23:15 😉
I'm so weird bruh, one day I be posting about how scared I am but then the next I'm like "It'll be fine!!!"
Hear me out: it's actually good that we're not blowing teams out. It gives us a nice, psychological advantage. Since we're always in crunch time, we know to NEVER make mistakes and to never put our foot off the gas. Always being in tight games gives us that mental toughness which we carry into the playoffs. We may not be perfect, but make a mistake in crunch time? Expect KC to capitalize on that.
Furthermore, Andy and the coaching staff are INTENTIONALLY making the play calling conservative ASF to not show any film for the magic they have planned for the playoffs. This is actually the best part! We've somehow eeked out an 11-1 record with this! I expect the performances to remain stagnant with this team - juat barely eeking out wins against "lesser" teams. All we need is a win anyway right?
Now, there are some problems that need to be addressed. Morris isn't playing his best, and hopefully DJ Humphries can solve that. We do have defensive issues, however, which I think is more concerning, as idk what we can do to address that right now. I'm just hoping that if the LT issue can be fixed, the offense can perform well enough to the point where it doesn't have to be bailed out by the defense.
Is this a crazy cope or is there some merit to what I say????
