From the perspective of the War of the 5 kings what would be the best use of 3 magic leaches, and 2 Shadow baby Assassins. Stannis uses the 2 Shadows to kill Renly, and Penrose, in order to take his men and Storms End. He also uses the 3 leaches to kill Robb Stark, Joffery Baratheon, and Balon Greyjoy. Despite taking out 4 of the 5 kings, it doesn't actually get him much closer to the throne. He lost most of Renly's men during the Battle of Blackwater and is currently in the north looking for more men.
How would you use the blood magic to win the war?
I will copy and paste the write-ups of both Amon and his servant Samir Duran/Emil Narud:
So, after reading their write-ups, do you agree that Amon and his servant Samir Duran/Emil Narud from StarCraft are much more evil than any character from ASOIAF or not?
Here is a link to the Tumblr blog I mentioned: https://agentrouka-blog.tumblr.com/post/637277648734863360/what-would-be-the-most-overrated-and-underrated
I found a Tumblr blog where a person is asked: "What would be the most overrated and underrated characters in asoiaf?"
You can read the answer to this question here:
"overrated:
tyrion (grrm got carried away. i am rereading acok and there are 3 chapters all about him visiting shae why???? her stans would make you think he is the smartest fictional character ever. also he can do no wrong)
jon (mary sue)
daenerys (she’s a white saviour with a harmful racist storyline. that aside the writing isn’t strong and the dragons are 80% why anyone cares about her)
arya (overhyped. got too many chapters about the same thing. annoying standom)
ned stark (blah blah blah honor blah blah blah)
tywin (he’s a violent dumbass but asoiaf dudebros ride his dick so hard you’d think he was a white sun tzu)
euron (i try so hard to care but the whole raping everyone thing, the pirate aesthetic, the forsaken chapter… it bores me.)
renly (i can’t believe the show convinced this unseasoned rubber duck was going to be a good king until his evil brother killed him. he’s not even a good gay icon. yeah i said)
jaime (he isn’t a feminist and he is not a good person)
stannis (stan b is such a dynamic, funny, tragic hardass who has some of the best quotes about kingship and the fandom ignores him and gives his best moments to other people. a travesty)
catelyn (such an interesting woman with an amazing look at the world around her. she and her daughters are what strong women are y’all. they don’t need to throw knives at people. stop limiting yourselves to just that)
sansa (a fascinating character who is paid dust by the fandom and reduced to an object for men. i feel she’s a great child character who does things as well as a child can with all the flaws a normal child has. her character development has been steady and a delight to read)
cersei (people decided she was stupid and evil and refused to analyse her further which is a shame because female characters as angry and brutally honest as her don’t come often in this genre. there’s more to evil queens than their villainy guys)
melisandre (no, she’s not a corrupting force, dark seductress or an idiot. she was sold as a child. survived asshai. became a red priestress. she’s immortal. she saw the others coming and decided to dedicate her life to stopping them. hop off her dick and into the bandwagon)"
So, do you agree with this opinion that the most overrated characters are Tyrion, Jon, Daenerys, Arya, Ned, Tywin, Euron, Renly and Jaime while the most underrated characters are Stannis, Catelyn, Sansa, Cersei and Melisandre?
Probably not the first to come up with this
Abstaining from politics as much as possible, here’s the case:
First there is the likely possibility that he is in fact Castro’s son ( https://medium.com/@leibowitt/of-course-fidel-castro-is-justin-trudeaus-dad-nobody-has-debunked-anything-4db6fc8a9042). Though somewhat forgotten now, Castro was analogous to a larger than life hero. A random group of idealistic 20 year olds, with a vanishingly small number of men (literally a few hundreds), managed to take over an entire country and liberate its people from a corrupt and exploitative dictatorship. Not only that, but they became the focal point of geopolitics and the entire world in the 60s. The actions of this group of 20 random young people almost led to a nuclear war. And now, the idea that this world leader might have sired a bastard in a secret tryst, who was raised as the son of another world leader, and who later became himself the leader of his state because of his name, is just got-levels of plot insanity.
Add to this his time in office. Regardless of your own political stance on the issue, there’s no question that open immigration became deeply unpopular during the last few years. Trudeau, in a typical GoT move of political folly, stubbornly refuses the will of popular opinion, and causes a normally liberal leaning country to overwhelmingly turn against his party and perhaps doom their political chances for the near future. The idealism, willful deafness to what others are saying vs political consequences is pure GoT.
Again, Im trying to refrain from politics, and theres definitely a good chance he isn’t actually Castro’s son. But if it’s true then I just find this entire thing fascinating.
Did the writers and producers actually greenlight Alicent turning to Grand Maester Orwyle for smuggling her through a siege blockade so that she could secretly meet Rhaenyra, so that she could agree to sacrifice her children in exchange for running away?
What sort of metal do they make the "Smuggling" Maester chain out of?
