Ramsay Bolton or Black Jack Randall

My game of thrones withdrawl led me into binging Outlander, but fuck this show is just as bad (or worse since the writers aren't nearly as good)

Anyone else.watch both shows and see the resemblance between the characters?

There should be user flairs for this subreddit going from 1-50+ where you can show how many times you have rewatched the series

What were your top scenes from S8?

Mine were

When Sansa looks the Hound in the eye, puts her hand on his, and calls him Sandor. I think it's the first time in his life that anybody's done that to him, let alone a woman.

Theon and Sansa reunion. I didn't imagine they would be quite so emotional.

The various Sers sitting round the fire reminiscing, and Brienne being knighted.

Drogon and Dany bursting through the gatehouse and the destruction of the Golden Company.

Jon's reunion with Tormund and Ghost, then walking away through the trees past a green shoot poking up through the snow.

Podrick's voice and Jenny of Oldstones.

Special mention to little Lyanna Mormont the giant killer and also the funeral pyres scenes.

Which Game of Thrones name would you choose for your child or pet?

Thinking back to this thread from a year ago. Now that the tv show is over and done, what GoT name would you choose for a child or a pet?

Which was the most satisfying character death in the series, which the saddest?

I liked the way Ramsay Bolton was eaten by his hounds, it was satisfying because that's how he'd killed others. I wouldn't have minded, though, if he'd been thrown to the pigs.

The saddest has to be Shireen. Also, to some extent, the Hound. I'd have liked him to have a chance to be happy, just for a little while.

If you had a behind the scenes job in a series like GoT, what would it be?

I'd love to be involved in some of the costumes, it would be amazing to have even a fraction of that sort of imagination and skill.

What about you?

What are the most shocking moments in the series?

For me it was Ned's beheading, but it set the scene - that I shouldn't get too attached to any of the characters.

Next would be other events I still find hard to rewatch, including Oberyn's death and Shireen's burning.

Which character, in the whole of the series, was the most unpleasant?

I can't decide - Joffrey, Ramsay, High Sparrow, Viserys ... or somebody else?

Who would you say was the most unpleasant character in the whole of the series, and why would you choose them?

Who was your favourite character in the series?

Mine was Sandor Clegane, The Hound.

I thought he got a raw deal, was a nice enough person underneath all the gruffness.

I didn't like him killing the butcher's boy but I'm not sure he had a choice. The rest of the time, when he could make a choice, he erred on the right side of justice.
