I'm Building a Stack Overflow for Societal Issues

Hi everyone!

Life is filled with contrasts. Some people live comfortably with all the essentials within reach, while others struggle just to find clean water or safety. With so many urgent societal issues—from food insecurity and homelessness to climate change and human trafficking—it can feel overwhelming to make a difference. But that’s where this new platform comes in!

We’re building a unique social crowdfunding platform that goes beyond traditional charity. Here, you can learn about pressing global issuesraise awareness through unbiased articles, and propose actionable solutions. It’s designed to be an interactive space where people from all walks of life can team up, share ideas, and work on real-world solutions. And it’s not just about discussion; it's about action and accountability.

What Makes This Platform Different?

  • Engage in Meaningful Dialogue: Much like a social feed, users can create posts on various issues (like Twitter) but with an action-focused twist. Every post has an attachment option that allows you to:
    • "Feed Me the Facts" – Get educated on complex topics.
    • "Raise a Problem" – Post specific issues that need solutions, categorised by community, state, or national impact.
    • "Polls" – Take the pulse of the community on key issues.
    • "Articles" – Publish unbiased articles to help raise awareness without hidden agendas.
  • Raise a Problem and Solve Together: Similar to StackOverflow, users can post about societal issues, which others can respond to with real solutions. With upvoting, the most effective solutions rise to the top, giving each issue a crowd-powered support system. Solution types are organized into categories, like legal, technological, government, and health solutions, so ideas are clear and actionable.
  • Public Voting and Feedback on Solutions: The public plays a crucial role not just in sharing ideas but also in voting for the solutions that they believe will work (or won’t work). This voting system is designed to ensure the most practical and effective solutions are raised to the top. Users can vote “For” or “Against” solutions and provide reasons for their vote, helping to further clarify which approaches might be successful or need improvement.
  • Start and Build Projects:
    • Initiate projects based on outlined solutions and recruit team members.
    • Have clear project proposals, timelines, and funding needs where every dollar is tracked for full transparency. Each project has a community vote for approval, requiring a 70% community rating to proceed.
    • The public can follow, share, and comment on projects or simply learn more about issues they care about.
    • Nonprofits, government entities, and philanthropists can join too, giving projects more exposure and credibility.

A Platform for Collaboration and Learning

This platform is about community-driven solutions and giving everyone a chance to contribute in a way that feels right for them—whether that's financially, by sharing knowledge, or joining a project team. We’re inviting passionate people to help shape our platform’s beta and provide valuable feedback to make it even better.

The beta launches on November 30. If you’re interested in joining or want to discuss ideas further, feel free to DM me here on Reddit or message me on Discord at itsomidkhber. I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and suggestions as we build this together. Let’s create a world where more people have the opportunity to help and make lasting, impactful change. Below is the link for you to add your email or reddit username if you're interested.

Discovering Affordable Ways to Boost Your Twitter Engagement

After 14 months of experimenting with growth on Twitter, I launched a tool that grows Twitter faster than ever.

After 14 months of experimenting with growth on Twitter, I was disappointed because there were no results. I decided to implement my very old idea. I created upvote.club, a service that solves the main problem for aspiring Twitter users: how to gain initial reach for their posts and grow followers as quickly as possible.

The main issue is that social media algorithms only show posts to a broader audience if they get engagement in the first "golden hour" and from a relevant audience. Without initial likes and comments, a post just sinks. I also found a tweet by Natia Kurdadze mentioning that X Blue gives a 2x boost to posts, while likes give a 30x boost, comments give a 50x boost, reposts a 20x boost, and visual content a 2x boost. This is spot on—until you hit your first thousand followers, engagement is as vital as oxygen. Every like on your post is worth its weight in gold."

In fact, there are two ways to get Twitter followers:

  1. Posting endlessly (which becomes a full-time job—ask anyone who’s grown their profile about the time they invested at the start).
  2. Getting a lot of reactions on your posts. I decided to focus on this aspect because it seems to be the most impactful.

My top priority for the service is real users, no bots or spam. I've implemented strict moderation thresholds for starting to use it.

How it works section should be:

  1. Register and add your Twitter account
  2. Create a task for what you need: likes, reposts, comments, followers
  3. Real users from the community immediately start doing what you ask
  4. In return, you help others, earning points for doing so
  5. We do not show completed tasks to users who complete them
  6. You get only new, clear, and fresh actions

I spent several weeks talking with influencer marketing agencies, and 9 out of 10 told me that they support each post their influencers publish with likes, comments, and reposts within the first hour. They go all-in on the post as an agency.

would be glad to hear your feedback. I have a promo code that gives you 30 extra points, which is worth approximately 15 followers, likes, reposts, or comments.

How two friends grew a micro Saas company from $2000 to $50k/month

Founders: Nishant & Arnob
Product: Olvy – Making release notes a conversation, not an info dump.

Olvy.co is estimated to be making about $40-$50k/month

The Big Idea
Nishant and Arnob met in college, where one dove into design and the other into development. After years in SaaS, they saw a problem: release notes were boring, one-way notifications. They wanted to change that – and Olvy was born.

Olvy lets companies turn release notes into a two-way street where users can react and comment. Now, companies can see what’s working in real-time. It’s simple: customers feel heard, and companies get insights on what’s landing and what’s not.

Starting Small, Building Smart
The first step? Real feedback. They launched the “Olvy Builders Program,” inviting early users to test it live and give feedback in exchange for lifetime access. Watching real users in action helped Nishant and Arnob refine Olvy’s core features and squash hidden pain points.

Product Hunt: The Big Moment
After weeks of tweaks, they launched on Product Hunt, scoring #1 Product of the Day. A flood of signups rolled in, putting Olvy on the map. Post-launch, they kept the buzz going with email tips and a community on Discord.

Lessons from Olvy’s Journey

  1. Get Early Users. Your product’s first fans are your best critics.

  2. Design Matters. A sleek interface signals quality.

  3. Community is Gold. Engage with users; they’re your best asset.

Olvy’s proof that even the simplest idea can go far with the right focus and a feedback loop. Nishant and Arnob are only getting started, but one thing’s clear – they’ve built a tool people actually want to use.

Anyone Else Struggling with Creating Too Many HR Documents?

Inspiration:

I've noticed that many founders and early-stage companies either struggle with or spend significant time and money creating their initial HR policies and documents, such as employee handbooks, codes of conduct, and various other policies. Whether the documents are for employee guidance or legal requirements, it's a big drain on people and companies with limited resources.

Idea:

I’m considering developing an AI-powered HR Assistant to help junior HR professionals and founders draft their early versions of employee handbooks and other essential HR documents.

Think of it like a “Mad Libs” approach to HR documentation—where the tool automates the creation and structure, while users still make the key decisions based on their values and culture.

This AI agent would:

  • Create Customized Handbooks: help generate comprehensive employee handbooks tailored to your company's specific policies, culture, and legal requirements.
  • Coach and Educate Founders: Provide guidance and best practices for developing effective HR documentation.
  • Ensure Compliance: Incorporate necessary compliance checks to help protect your company from legal risks associated with outdated or incomplete documentation.

I’m looking to validate this idea and would greatly appreciate your feedback. Specifically:

  • Would this be something your team would find valuable?
  • How much would you be willing to pay for a tool like this?

And if this is something you are interested in, DM me for early sign up!

I made AI tools Introducing Bloggen AI

Hello Redditors Family! we are excited to launch Bloggen AI on the web. Hope to see some great support from the community. Do support and let us know your feedback. We would love to read your comments and do let us know how can we improve Bloggen AI further.

I've been using various AI services like ChatGPT for content creation, Leonardo Ai for image generation, Google Gemini for productivity, Claude for research, Chatbase for custom GPT, Videotoblog for turning YouTube videos into blog posts, ZeroGPT for content AI detection, Copyleaks for plagiarism checking, and more. It's been quite a hassle, not to mention expensive and time-consuming. That's why I've decided to bring all these services together in one place to save time and money. And that's how Bloggen AI came to be! Once it's ready, it will benefit me and others in similar situations. Today, I'm thrilled to share that we've just launched Bloggen AI on the Web!

As a Reddit user who is always lurking for productivity hacks and smarter workflows, I thought this might resonate with some of you.

After 7 months of hard work and 2 failed projects, we're finally making money of this!

So here's my backstory, about seven months ago my brother and I teamed up to try building a business together. My brother had some experience, but I was totally new to this. Our first project was an AI tool for high-ticket sales helping with the screening process. We worked for months, pushing marketing hard, but… crickets. No one wanted what we were selling. It was tough putting in so much effort and getting nothing in return.

Next, we thought we’d try to help guys improve their dating profiles with AI. Same result, lots of marketing, zero interest. It was frustrating but we picked up some valuable lessons from these failures.

When we launched our third project, we knew we had to do things differently. Instead of just jumping into building, we validated our idea first. We created a survey, shared it in a relevant subreddit asking for feedback on the idea while offering feedback in return. We ended up getting positive responses so we built our MVP.

For the launch of the MVP, we set a pretty ambitious goal of getting 20 users in two weeks. Given our past failures, it felt like a long shot. But after two weeks, we hit 100 users! It was such a relief and a huge win for us.

With feedback from those early users, we made some tweaks and got ready for our full release. Despite hearing mixed things about it, we decided to launch on Product Hunt. When we launched, the response blew us away. 500+ upvotes, featured at #4, and 475 new users in the first 24 hours! Here's the link to our Product Hunt launch.

We felt amazing! Over the next few days things just kept getting better, and 11 days post-launch we had reached 1100+ users.

It’s wild to think that just 53 days ago we had 0 users, and now we’re at 1145 users and 26 paying customers.

I wanted to share this to remind everyone that 53 days could be all it takes for you to be in a completely different place than you are now.

Keep going and don’t give up! You never know when things might take off for you.

Job Seekers: What Features Would You Love to See in a Job Board?

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for feedback to help improve Jobsolv, a job board focused on remote roles. We currently offer features like an auto-apply function that sends applications with tailored resumes and a resume builder that allows you to craft your resume from scratch or use our instant resume optimization.

What features do you wish job boards had? Are there any tools or functionalities that would make your job search easier or more effective?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Would you want fashion advice from AI?

Hi, I am trying to build an AI-powered recommendation system that will help women finalize their look of the day. It's always some bestfriend, some sissy or someone special suggesting you , "Don't wear this dress", "That colour will look better on you". What if you had an app that let you decide your look and even suggest clothes from differnet brands based on the occasion you are planning your look for?
It would really help if you all suggest me if this idea should realy be executed or it's a flop one.

AI Agent for HR Administrative Tasks: Seeking Feedback and Validation

Inspiration:

I've been talking with my founder friends, and many of them mentioned that they lacked the resources to hire dedicated HR personnel in their early days. Tasks that foster employee engagement and build company culture require significant effort, and without HR support, these responsibilities often get overlooked.

Similarly, my friends in HR expressed feeling burned out from repetitive administrative tasks that prevented them from focusing on strategic initiatives.

Idea:

I’m thinking of developing an AI-powered HR agent to help automate some of these tasks. This agent would streamline HR workflows by facilitating coffee chat matches, suggesting engaging events, and conducting employee surveys—all seamlessly and automatically.

With this solution, startups can cultivate a strong company culture early on without needing to hire HR staff immediately.

For companies that already have HR teams, it allows them to focus on more strategic tasks rather than being bogged down by administrative duties.

Potentially, it will be a Slack app and integrate with the MS team.

I'm trying to validate this idea and would greatly appreciate feedback. Specifically:

  • Would this be something your team would find valuable?
  • What's your current team size?
  • How much would you be willing to pay for a tool like this?

Finding Startup Ideas By Reading Negative Customer Reviews

As a founder, we commonly struggle in identifying a problem worth solving. And we often face challenges in validating whether there is a market of people who would actually pay for the solution.

A simple and effective way to find startup ideas that has a good probability of getting paying customers is to read negative customer reviews.

Places where you can read negative reviews are the following:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play
  • WordPress Plugins page
  • Shopify App Store
  • G2
  • ProductHunt

Read what customers are saying about the products. What’s missing? What’s driving them crazy? Those are your clues.

When you see a pattern of frustration, you've struck gold. Those are where the existing products are failing and that is your opportunity. You can develop a solution that addresses those pain points.

The benefit of this strategy is you are solving a real problem that customers are experiencing and there is a high probability that they will pay for your solution.

This is originally posted here where I will share all that I'm learning in building startups.

What are your thoughts on this strategy? And what other tips you can add?

YOTEY: work break-down oriented project management for technical teams

I'd like to share YOTEY, a new project management tool unlike many traditional productivity applications. YOTEY puts emphasis on actual (technical) work management, by creating visual work break-downs per feature, improvement, defect, etc. the team is working on.

In contrast to conventional "issue-oriented" thinking within project management, which is often rather static or high-level, you define and actively maintain actual technical tasks on any desired level of detail. All of this happens within a visual work plan, which is easy to share, discuss and brainstorm about with all team members and other stakeholders.

You can read more about YOTEY at yotey.co. Currently the first Beta is ongoing, it is completely free and no-nonsense (easy to sign up, no data collection or tracking, no e-mail sequences, etc.).

Example work break-down in a YOTEY plan
