So I was walking in O’Connell and I saw a bloke pissing in the street, as I was about to roll the stroller over his piss dripping towards the gutter. He was pissing in the middle of O’Connell near a restaurant so I told him he shouldn’t have been pissing there.

He became aggressive, child in stroller in tow. Saying how he plans to hit me, and I just walk away as it’s escalating while I’m with my wife and child.

What would you have done? This is maybe 9pm. I was tempted to continue, but a young guy, obviously half pissed, I just continued, and ignored his comments to get me back.

I was worried it would escalate but at the same time it’s so fucking frustrating so see people peeing in the middle of a path, it infuriated me.

My partner I are starting to wonder why making friends in Adelaide feels like climbing Mount Everest. We're both from a brown(Indian) ethnicity, fit, late 20s and perfectly normal-looking. Having moved here two years ago for work, we missed out on the golden age of university friend-making, and boy, are we feeling it now.

We've scoured through countless posts on this subreddit seeking advice, but nothing seems to quite click. We're not really into sports, nor do we have kids or pets—seems like the go-to ways to connect with people in this city.

We are even into swinger culture but with open-minded and respectful mindset couple. It's frustrating feeling like we're on the outskirts of the social circles we see around us.

Why is it so tough to forge friendships here post-25? Are there others out there feeling the same way? Is there a secret handshake or some hidden friend-making society we're missing out on?

Bit of a long shot, but when I was a kid in the early 2000's I remember there being a collectable/ hobby store in the Elizabeth Shopping center that dealt in cards, toys, I believe tabletop gaming etc. It eventually closed and was replaced by an army surplus depo store, which then itself eventually shut down. Anyone happen to remember that stores name or its history? As a kid I just knew it as the cool store and loved going there when my parents were shopping.

Recently moved into a duplex, strata title. Today we removed an overgrown shrub on the council verge (only up to our side of the fence). Now the neighbour has made a complaint demanding compensation. It seems he's the one that planted it a long time ago ? Just seeing if he's got a leg to stand on. The only shared property is the wall that divides the 2 houses. Cheers.

Hii guys, i was taking a right from ford jarvis gepps cross towards princess highway and the zone was 60 and it was switching to 70 as I could see the board so I was over 60 ( 67) and the moment I crossed the 70 board I saw a white hyundai car with speed cameras which was about 150-200 m after the 70 board . Will I get fined?

An alleged car thief was arrested at Seaton yesterday afternoon.

Just after 4pm on Friday 26 April, a woman returned home from walking her dog to see her car being stolen from her Clark Terrace address.

The offender had also broken into the home and stolen her car keys and wallet, which contained an AirTag.

The victim was able to track her car and provide police with updates on its location.

Numerous patrols in the area for the Liv Golf event assisted and the stolen Subaru Forester was spotted on Tapleys Hill Road just before 5pm.

PolAir was called in to assist and located the vehicle abandoned in Lark Avenue just a few minutes later.  Patrols were quickly on the scene and chased the suspect, who was jumping over fences in the area.

The 24-year-old Enfield man was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass, illegal use, drive unlicensed, unlawful possession and theft.  He was refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.

The stolen car was able to be returned to its owner.

Hi guys, ive been tasked with organising the transport for part of my brother in laws Bucks show in June.

We are looking to cart 20 people from Thebarton to the Bend race track / then back to the city from approximately 10:30 am in late June.

Does anyone have any word of mouth recommendations that can facilitate that type of journey for a bucks show ?

Preferably all in together, preferably the bus can wait while we are at the Bend for an hour approximately
