I want to flex a bit for my self-esteem, as I consider myself really bad player, and never played other souls games besides my previous try at DS1 and prly I rly just got lucky and maybe I was overequiped/leveled? I don't know what lvl/equipment you are supposed to be here. It's my second playthrough, last time I've tried DS and reached Quelaag and then dropped DS for a year after not being able to get her with my heavy build, recently came back and started new run.
I can't say that I went blind, like a year ago I saw my friend streaming the fight and it kinda left in my consciousness that you must hit small guy and even in the fight it felt safer, as he dashes far away from his bro.
I was wearing double hands Uchigana+10, Shadow Set, Dark Wood Grain Ring and Grass shield. My dex was 30, health 21, endurance 27, strength 14 and I almost slipped as my friends in discord watching the stream was hyping me really hard when I was dodging simultaneous attacks from both of them, when they expected me to not even get to second phase first try, it was so much hype that my hands were legit shaking from nervousness and laughter, as they were joking during the fight that Gaping Dragon was harder for me. They also was malding that my game must be bugged because big guy in second phase was jumping from me few times when I was advancing on him really hard, so I prly got super lucky :0
Btw, I am myself surprised on the dodging as I was running with a shield most of the time and only in Anor Londo I realized that shield only makes my personal gameplay feel worse and I have to learn dodging, and well.. let's say that before Smough I was still frequently getting hit by knights with a spears despite my best efforts. Sorry for boasting, just a bit proud of myself!
This is my first playthrough and I really want Quelaggs Furry Sword. I searched up how to get it and the wiki said I need a +10 curved sword and soul of Quelagg. I did all the steps but the Giant blacksmith won't forge it for me, it only allows me to forge it into a lightning scimitar.
I think the fury sword looks cool and want to use it, so can someone pls help me :(
I've found my new favorite music to mow my lawn to!
Just walking around with my weed wacker knocking down tough grass patches reminds me of all those poor hollowed attempts to defeat a boss!
Yet I feel like one as I slice those patches with nicely timed sweeping motions!
SO EMPOWERING!!!
I have Nederland played any dark souls game and elden ring rally attracted me beacause it loods reaal fun.
If I do play elden ring first, then which games shouls I play after that. I already own bloodborn but just haven't played it much because I didn't really understand it.
I also have been doing a lot of research but I can't figure it out. Hope that someone awnsers.
My friend will only play them if we can find a mod that works like the seemles coop mod for elden ring.
am i fucked and gotta go ng+ or is there something i can do?
I feel like all the Soulsborne games had some degree of bleakness and loneliness throughout the journey. Some that stood out the most to me were Demon Souls and its Tower of Latria. Ds1 and Ds2 also had its fair share of lonely and dark zones. What do you guys think, personally?
i've been playing ds1 for a couple months now. but now i'm in ng+ and want to be able to wield the abyss greatsword but my int and faith lvls are too low. to lvl up once i need 87k souls now so does anyone know the best way to level up fast in ng+?
I need some help with this boss because I'm not gonna beat it on my own lol, on Xbox and I'll be outside the boss room if anyone wants to help.
Any body available to help with Sanctuary Guardian on Playstation?
I've found that I become more attached to the characters and thus more willing to sacrifice in order for them to have a nice story with each run. I just got to the Giant Blacksmith, and I don't think I can bring myself to steal his Hawk Ring. He's such a big sweetheart, and it's so cute that he keeps it in a treasure chest.
So, I got the Ring of Favor and Protection. One thing I noticed however, is as soon as I equipped it, enemies turn around and face me when I'm still 20 feet away. Before I equipped it I was able to sneak up on them. I've changed nothing else.
Is there something I don't know?
Ornstein and Smough were prob one of the easiest boss fights in the game for me. You just equip lighting prot armor, chip at ornstein first and then hug smough. As long as you are right in fron of smough, he will always do his front slam where you can just dodge to the aide and hit him a few times.
with Gwyn on ng+ someone ππ
Wanted to share this just in case anyone felt in a rut and needed a way to be more active. I do this thing while playing souls games where I tally every death. Then depending on the number of deaths I do something good for me. Every 1 death I do 2 push ups, 2 squats, and 2 jumping jacks (or burpees or crunches for variety). Every 5th death I pause and read a page (or sometimes just a paragraph or two) of a book I've been procrastinating on. Every 10th death I get up and do a very quick chore I've been procrastinating on like loading the dishes, loading some laundry, picking up room a bit etc. A 20th death is a tally reset and a bigger chore like 15 mins of a lecture I've been meaning to watch or vacuuming etc.
If it turns out I've finished my chores then I just increase the number of workouts. So a 5th death is 5 push ups, 5 squats, 5 etc. A 10th death is 10 push ups, 10 squats... you get it. At 20 it all resets but it's flexible. Do it however you like!
I haven't gotten to this point yet, but if towards the end of the game I feel like I'm not dying (I always die a lot I suck haha) as much anymore then I'll probably instead tally how many flasks I take. Every 5th flasks = 1 death so 2 push ups, 2 squats, ... etc.
Anyway, with this I've read more chapters of books than I have for years, done more push ups, more chores quicker, etc etc. Basically this dumb method has helped me make my life better!
Not sure if this information will be useful to anyone but I just thought I'd share just in case anyone was looking for an excuse to play Dark Souls again or for longer ;D. Also, this works in any game not just Dark Souls!

Hello,
I am a souls veteran who finished every souls game except Dark Souls Remastered and 2. Does Dark Souls Remastered have fp/mana bar? if it does, how can I see it? how do I recover fp? I am stuck at an easy boss and I cant kill it because I ran out of fp and my sword doesnt do any damage since I leveled up only inteligence.
I didnt found anything related to this, am I the only one who didnt figure it out how sorcerers works on this game?
I myself find this game easy af, all bosses I killed in firdt try or third, the thing that kills me are the path to them π I hoped for a more challenge.
Thank you!
LE:Its interesting that frustrated kids doesnt stand the fact that I said the game is easy and now downvoting every comment π€£ not everyone cares about karma lol.
