So I’ve been doing some Dark souls remastered pvp lately and was wondering how to use cheat engine or something else to make builds faster? I’m getting a bit tired of constantly running through the game. I’ve looked it up but the only guide I could find was like 8 years old for the ptd edition, so I was wondering how to do it for the remastered version.

This is the best dark souls subreddit and I refuse to believe otherwise <3
So happy dark sauce 1 still pops off but these clips are super old mostly lmao
Take Care! Don't you dare go hollow!
I've been referencing some of these resources like the weapons and armor guides on steam community but just recently stumbled upon this google doc that collates a variety of resources from a collective, though it looks like the primary organizer was u/TheOneLeftFoot. saw that it was posted on main sub and brm but never here and thought it would be of interest.

at first glance I did notice some inconsistencies between its weapon length testing and what I've been referencing, so I'll include that data point here too: https://www.reddit.com/r/darksouls/comments/1smbqy/updated_weapon_attack_range_table/
and then while we're at it I'll also include some testing for weapon speed that I've been referencing too: https://www.reddit.com/r/darksouls/comments/bqk3mn/comprehensive_list_of_attackspersecond/
So me and my buddy started getting back into remaster pvp. Unfortunately there is this player (on pc) whose character goes by Mike. He’s basically plagued all of oolacile with gravelord, he always has a red phantom friend helping him gank, and to make matters worse he’s cheating. He has characters at all different levels as well. Basically no escaping him. Any way we can find a way to report this guy as a group and get him off this game.
What is the best soul level for invasions that isn’t at pontiff or the woods these days? I absolutely loathe Elden ring and kinda want to get back into ds3 pvp.
about how much hp is suggested to survive most unbuffed crystal great club hornet backstabs (and ripostes for that matter)? would a 1650hp chainmom do it?
if I were to go =<sl104 to match with 125 but not 135 (say =<1545 hp) and hopefully reduce my havelmom exposure (assuming greatclub users at least now have to sacrifice 61+ poise), are there any other critical damage tools that could oneshot me?
I guess more simply are there relatively tight ballpark numbers for the hp needed to not be oneshot by common critical damage tools at damage stat soft caps assuming hornet ring but no buffs (inc. power within)?
A fairly frequent question I see on the main sub: "is the PvP in this game still active?"
I can only report my experiences on the Steam version, but maybe others would like to chime in.
I've been active (again) in DSR PvP since August of 2023. If you're wondering, here's what I see:
Low-level
SL1-20 WL5 PvP mostly happens in the Undead Burg and Parish. Generally speaking you can get invasions any time you want in these two zones. Less active, but still notable are the lower part of Darkroot (basically to catch people running from the bottom of Havel's tower) and Lower Undead Burg. You'll encounter the most organic groups at this level.
Gravelords will find steady activity in either the Burg or Parish at this level. You'll attract "anti-twinks" as you will if you invade and even with weapon level restrictions, low-level twinks are fierce if you're playing it straight.
Overall skill level is low here. There are players who know what they're doing at every level bracket but they're the scarcest at low level.
Mid-level
SL30-40 WL10 PvP invasions tend to be a bit slower than low level, but you'll find action in Sen's Fortress, the Depths, and Darkroot Garden. Be careful of Darkroot as a forest invader: endgame players also engage here, so you can end up with some unfriendly matchups due to the wide level range of certain PvP items.
Sen's Fortress is the place for Gravelording at mid level.
Endgame level
SL50-75 WL15 PvP is almost as active as lower level, but more spread out. You'll find players looking for a fight in Anor Londo, Oolacile Township, Painted World. All the Lordvessel areas plus the Catacombs are viable invasion targets. You'll encounter the most gank squads at this level.
Gravelording is frequent in any of the invasion zones and in Darkroot Forest.
You'll encounter good and better than good players in the mix more frequently at this level. Anor Londo gets decently sweaty.
Meta level
SL125-135 WL15 PvP - I've only spent a few hours playing at meta so far, but from what I've seen you can get fights in Oolacile, though it is not as active as endgame level. People use the Burg for dueling but I think that's mostly password stuff. Maybe someone more experienced at meta would like to chime in here. Skill level is the highest at meta level, but there's still a decent number of casual players in the mix.
So im around Sl90 and there is just no one at High Wall Lothric, Pontiff on Profaned.
Am i banned or is everyone just an higher Sl?
I’m on ps5
Let’s goooooo
I cant believe its all so empty, even at Pontiff. Or am i tripping?
So where did everyone go, or is the PvP just dead?
Getting back into DSR PS4, and always wanted to do a Darkmoon build but never got to it. Attempting one but I feel really lackluster in my fights, my two best sources of damage being my Great Lightning and WoG, my Iaito +5 pales in comparison hardly doing anything. SL54 currently with just over 1k HP, fast rolling and I do NOT have the buff yet which I'm thinking might be my issue or my poise(0). 27 dex, 30 faith, 20 Vit and 11 End. Rings: FaP/Sun's Firstborn. Running in Anor Londo. Any advice from those more experienced in pvp to fine tune it or am I destined to go Hollow with this build? I accept this might just be a skill issue but I don't think I'm completely awful as I can get a few hits or a backstab/riposte in.
Sharing this information in case it helps anyone else with this obscure use case.
I often play DSR on PC with a friend on the same LAN. I also have a PiHole adblocker on my home network. Whenever I played with another local player, I would encounter disconnections that dropped me back to the main menu every so often. Annoying!
DS netcode must push out a metric ton of DNS queries, because what it turned out to be is that the PiHole would throttle my DNS every once in a while due to too many queries in a given period of time when 2 people were playing DS on the LAN.
If you've got a PiHole and you're encountering trouble with network play in Dark Souls, try setting your DNS manually and bypassing the PiHole on your gaming rig.
I'd want them to fix bow glitches, rkss canceling, splitleaf infite, & the murky/harpe hitstun just to start
I love Gravelording. I've figured out some stuff for myself:
How do you Gravelord? What are your Gravelording tips?
Hi, i have always played pvp in dark souls 1 on level 125. i have been seen some other players leveling up to 133 if i'm not mistaken.
What's up with that. is there a specific reason like matching more endgame players? it has to do with gravelord covenant?
I beg someone let me kill you 10 times to get a sorcery for a trophy🙏🙏🙏
Fight me at pontiff sulyvahn arena if you’re bout it
I'll be hanging out in the Painted World with Katgoria tonight at SL60/WL15. Come by and invade or drop a red sign.
We're aiming for 7PM EST as a start time. I'll update this post when the first red sign goes down.
UPDATE 6:59pm - I've got my dried finger running and I'm in the Painted world arena between the hallway to Priscilla and the main courtyard, looking for red signs. Katgoria is on a vitally important ice-cream run.

I’m just wanting to know because I see builds using Crystal weapons on videos but I’m not sure what they’re doing in terms of maintaining their weapons. If you pvp with a weapon for long enough without repair it’ll break eventually. Is there something I’m missing here? I’d like to go crystal path I think for meta level with a club/claymore build I think
Been playing souls games since they came out, and looking to PvP once again on dsr. What level and areas should I be aiming for to find the most activity? Can be meta or whatever, just so long as I’m getting fights. Thanks!
I’m a bit tired of ER and I played DS3 for like 6 years. I never really had the DS1 experience with PvP and wanted to get into it. I did make twinks in ds1 (lv12 giantdad/havelmom) but I was thinking more along the lines of actual pvp (like lv100+). I realize the pvp community is small and very experienced and probably not so new player friendly just starting out so I was thinking I’d lv up 1 of my twinks (lv 44 atm) just because it’d be more forgiving while I learn weapon swaps/tech etc at lower lv and not die in 2 seconds to some pro kumo flipper. I have a 40/40 build at 137 I made ages ago but I’m aware that’s not so optimal to pvp on.
Any ideas appreciated. Thanks 🙏
Anybody on?
