I'm starting my NG+ play through with the aim to platinum the game. I've done all other achievements besides miracles (forgot to give Irina the Lothric Tome), Pyromancies (Need another Stray Demon soul), Expressions (did not summon at all during 1st play through), and rings.

Can I play the game as usual without having to worry about missing rings during my play through, or are there some that I should be looking out for?

Question: Right now im using the butcher knife and its doing great so far. I figure though it will hit a ceiling and ill need to step up to something more effective.

Current stats (from memory) are approx:

Vig: 30.
End: 25.
Str: 25.
Dex: 16.

I have both the hollowslayer greatsword and the exile greatsword.

I could plan to take this build in either direction, do you have a favorite between the two? Recommended str/dex for each?

The exile is way heavier but last i checked it hits harder and im really torn between these two.

Im also considering the fugs but i wont get access to that until way later in the game.

I just dont know what

Took me so many tries in about 2 hour nonstop but I finally defeated her for the first time. I haven’t struggled with a boss as much as Friede but I did it. Also I died the same time she did so I thought that wouldn’t count but I was so happy to find out it did. For the first couple tried fighting with Gael but he only was lasting until phase 3 so I decided to take the challenge solo. My heart was racing throughout and still is. I LOVE this game

Can someone please help me understand why fight clubs are still a thing in Dark Souls 3?

Because that's what I ran into when I invaded someone for the deacon covenant. He had five player summons with him.

I think it was outside the area where you fight Pontiff? There was dead giants on the ground.

Please tell me why every time I invade someone for my covenant, it's always a fight club with ridiculous people who take no damage no matter how much I damage them. This happened in a recent invade for the deacon covenant. The guy was just standing there with 5 freaking player summons.

Hey there. Just beat this guy after 2 attempts lvl 118 and maxed out estus and now I feel a bit sad that I didn't find him as epic as everyone said he was. I am pretty casual souls player. Beat Elden ring and Bloodborne so far but Sekiro was way too hard.

The game was beautiful. I cruised trough the base game and the only boss that gave me a run for my money was Aldrich but the difficulty spike when entering the dlc was very evident. Basic enemies were much more tightly packed and they all hit hard. Hence I expected the boss to be harder but all his moves seemed so easily predictable and even without knowing his move set it was easy to dodge everything and poke him down in both phases.

I'll have to say that Sister Friede and Midir did live up to the expectations and kicked my butt handful of times. The boss I died to the most was the Nameless king but I blame that on the camera. Probably one of the more annoying figts ever (fuck that unavoidable flame breath)

Overall such an epic game I'm glad I got to experience it. I might be late to the party but the experience of beating this for the first time still gives me that high I wanted.

What was your all experience of the boss difficulty? Which one gave you the hardest time :) ?

What is the best build for a Zero Death run?

Level 40 w +4 Sharp SS Twinblades. Just finished the Deacons fight. Have beaten ER, Sekiro and BB.

Ice Knight guarding the Road of Sacrifices and the giant crabs have been the toughest enemies so far. Boss fights have been fun but maybe 2 tries max before beating. Demon Deacons and Tree Bro were gimmick fights but cool. Am I in for a rude awakening in the near future or does having beaten the other FS titles (3x ER) just have you prepared for these bosses move sets? Played a lot of the SoTE with backhand blades and they feel pretty similar to fighting with the SS Twinblades.

Dungeons are peak design in this game. Love everything about them. But it seems like strong groups of enemies are much more of a threat than bosses. The double-warden twinblade "dancers" fight right before going into the church of the giant ogres I died more times than all the bosses thusfar combined.

Decided to switch to it from great scythe, and omg why isn't it dropping. I'm beginning to think it isn't in the game

Any idea how to infuse lightning gem on uchigatana i cant find the gem in the section

For me it was farming the blue lothric knight outside of the dancer fight for his armor. After about an hour of trying i decided to search online to see if it was even obtainable just to learn it was indeed not.

i've been struggling in this boss fight, so i did some upgrades to the katana because the boss is weak to lightning.
i should probably also mention that the katana does 5 more damage

A couple of weeks ago, when I was playing Dark Souls 3, during the Sister Friede boss fight there is a move set in the 1st phase where Friede goes invisible and then comes up from a random direction and impales you with her scythe.

Now I'm pretty sure everyone hates this move, it's very hard to dodge, and it does A LOT of damage. it's also done pretty frequently as I have seen in my run.

After, around 14 attempts of fighting the boss, I encountered a bug which almost completely counters Friede's invisible attack. To perform this glitch, you first need to fight Friede how you normally would, but when she goes invisible, go BEHIND Father Ariandel and basically get under his throne. Now when you hear the scythe dragging across the floor (which means she is about to attack ) start rolling into Father Ariandel's butt. This causes Friede to not only miss her attack but also lets you get a few hits on her.

Now this has worked like 95% of the time. Sometimes, it doesn't work and you still get impaled by her scythe but honestly, I see those as better odds than trying to dodge the attack normally.

I thought I'd write this just in-case it may help someone to defeat Sister Friede. Let me know if it works for you, since I haven't fought her again and since then uninstalled the game.

You think that the Drang knights might be from Drangleic? It makes sense, think about it. They use paired weapons and the descriptions say, “They Quickly became known for shieldless, aggressive tactics that struck fear in the hearts of men.” Drangleic was the first land to showcase dual wielding, aside from Lautrec of Carim, and shields were on the wayside in that game. I could be full of crap, but that’s why this is a discussion. Have a fine Dark Souls.
