Mines are: 1-Rom&Micolash are good bosses and shadows&paarl arent 2-This game is not scary at all. Im not sure if its a hot take and if people actually finds bloodborne scary or unsettling but i dont. Theres disgusting moments makes me think like "that would be terrible in real life,ew" but nothing more.
Hi I'm a new player, and haven't done much research, but I really want to use guns. Is there and guns i can use in my main hand, or any guns you recommend. I mostly like to play fast and dodgey. Any advice would be amazing.
Just started this game a few days ago, a friend bought it for me knowing I haven’t played any Soulsborne game before. Very hard and annoying at times but man it’s rewarding when you kill a boss. If anyone has any tips for me I’d love to hear them!
Hey everyone,
So Jedi Survivor mostly takes its combat system from Sekiro; but I just found out during my playthrough, you can use the Blaster to Stun Enemies that are using Unblockable and Unparryable attacks, where the monster turns red.
This doesnt give you an awesome "Gun Parry" animation like Bloodborne, but, the mechanic is there. They just get stunned for like 1.5 seconds for you to get free hits.
Video below. In the game you need to get the Lightsaber + Blaster stance, just play the story missions til you get it. Once you have it, you can deflect like Sekiro and Gun Parry like Bloodborne. Once you get the Blaster Stance you need to get the "Point Blank" skill to unlock Gun Parry.
Heres a video showing it off. So the Stagger Bar doesnt decrease with the Gun Parry, but the Gun Parry is pretty much a Bloodborne stagger, you just dont get the critical hit animation, you just stun them and take some swings.
Check it out.
Cheers!
It's been 5 hours that i fight him and i don't do any progress, does anyone know how to sumon someone to help me fight him ?
I killed Imposter Iosefka before killing Rom. She doesn't drop the umbilical cord because of this so I'll have to kill Arianna and the newborn, so I'm not completely screwed.
I almost sent the beggar to Oedon Chapel before I realized he was really strange and noticed the corpses around him. I immediately looked him up and realized my mistake. I attacked him until he turned into a beast and killed him.
I'm a bit afraid of missing things or doing things in the wrong order. Any major things I should keep in mind?
I guess part of the fun is the learning experience. I don't want to constantly refer to guides when I'm playing this game.
Yes, I know I started very late. This was one of 4 games I first bought for the PS4 back in 2017. I didn't touch the game until 2022. I was really getting into it. But then I let someone borrow my PS4 and I got sidetracked. I fell into a depressive hole in my life many, many years ago and playing games felt uninspiring and boring. A lot of things became chore like to be honest. As strange as it sounds, at work I met a nice lady dressed as The Doll using a card with the name Iosekfa to pay for something. It reminded me of Bloodborne. I finally started again from scratch and there will be no distractions. I'm a bit sad I wasted many years doing nothing and missing out on video game experiences like this but I'm happy that this is the game that is helping me enjoy them again.
Im so glad I did finished this game also platinum. It felt weird to me because didnt use a single summon for dlc bosses, Orphan of Kos and Ludwig were the harderst ones. Idk how to compare dlc bb and Eldenring but this old hunters dlc was a whole new experience… This game was sooo awesome, i get wat so many people gives it a high nummer in the souls games. Probably for me 1.Elden Ring 2. Bloodborne 3.Dark souls 3.
I played these 3 games wonder to get a new Eldenring playthrough for pvp level or play ds1
Best ost in the game, phase 1 is awful to fight and phase 2 is meh,I used church pick
https://youtu.be/MD-ZX1Fv3N4?si=Yndtna3rSSapYEMB I cannot find the sliders for the character used here
I do not believe that gehrman wanted to like reproduce with maria, rather he views her as a daughter figure perhaps.
Speaking of Gehrman I believe that he once flee asleep and was kicked off the hunters dream by a armored core before the moon presence placed him back up
I've tried to get into bloodborne, I want to but every time I try I just can't. I've tried 3 times now. First time I got to bsb and it took me 15 HOURS SOMEHOW but I still enjoyed it sorta. 2nd time got to just after Gascoigne and the the 3rd time was this morning and I literally just loaded up the game and said nah I ain't doing this again. The first time I was actually gonna keep going but then I got elden ring on sale for £20 (that's like $25 in America) and just played that for ages. How do I get into this game, I wanna so bad, it looks so good, but I can't and I dunno why. Also is it normal that this game scares the socks off me or am I just being a weirdo??
I want to get bloodtinge to 50 for an Evelyn chikage build. If I have never leveled it and I'm level 100 rn, would it be faster to get it to 50 on a new game plus or make a new character even if I can't get those weapons until the later end of the game? I play offline so no way to get the weapons sooner.
I know leveling is faster on a new character but I don't know by how much as I haven't played new game plus yet. So just trying to get a sense of ng+ leveling speed vs unlocking the weapons again. Hope that makes sense thanks guys
EDIT: I guess a faster way to ask this would be how soon could I get from blood level 100 to 145ish in new game plus?
No console players allow to answers: for Bais reasons.
Sony’s repeated cancellations of an official Bloodborne PC port, despite demand and FromSoftware’s apparent readiness, seem to be driven by a strategic focus on their PS Now service. Titles like Bloodborne and God of War are crucial for attracting and maintaining subscribers to PS Now, allowing players to stream these games on PC without owning them. This model guarantees a steady revenue stream from subscription fees ($20 per month or $100 annually), even if players are mainly interested in just a few key games. By keeping these titles exclusive to PS Now, Sony maximizes profits while avoiding the risk of losing potential sales to a PC release. Additionally, Demon's Souls is only available on PS Now for Japanese users (or via VPN), further solidifying the subscription-based model.
Releasing Bloodborne or Demon’s Souls on PC would undermine Sony’s exclusivity strategy, potentially impacting both their console and platform sales. This approach also ties into Sony's broader strategy of maintaining tight control over FromSoftware, as seen in their efforts to acquire the studio. Ultimately, Sony appears focused on keeping these titles—and future releases—exclusive to PlayStation to preserve the value of their ecosystem.
That said, Sony’s decision to keep Bloodborne and Demon's Souls locked to PS Now has left many of us wondering: Is this the future we want? While emulation is an option, it’s still not quite the same as having an official PC release—no mods, no proper support, and performance that can fall short of what we expect.
So, what do you think? Do you believe Sony will stick to their guns and keep these games behind a subscription paywall, or do you think there’s still a chance they’ll release the official PC ports we’ve been asking for? For those using emulation, how’s it working out? Is it good enough, or are you still hoping for the real deal?
Our community’s voice has the power to shape the future of gaming, even though past efforts, like the Change.org (50.000 votes) petition, didn’t produce the desired change. Personally, I believe the next step is to vote with our wallets—by not supporting services like PS Now, and instead demanding proper, permanent game purchases with fair value, rather than relying on rental models. What do you think? Let’s hear your thoughts.
That being said, I have mixed feelings about the service. In countries like Brazil, where console prices are ridiculously high, a lower-priced streaming option could be a decent alternative for players who can’t afford the hardware. However, I’m also concerned that encouraging a "service-based" model could lead to worse practices in the long run.
Just when I started feeling like I'm getting better at the game, there is such a massive difficulty spike, the respawning enemies are alright because I already saw stuff like this in ds1 and I knew what to do, but the damage some of them have seems unreasonable to me, lasers that take 70% of my hp and leave explosions, 3 hunters that have a lot of hp, aggro together and the lightning can one shot me from almost full health, and even normal enemies can stunlock me and do half of my hp
And all of this would be fine if blood vials restored after death, when each hit forces me to use 1-2 vials I ended up consuming 60 vials I had stored in an hour, I'm not sure if it's an unpopular opinion, but I really wish that blood vials weren't a consumable
This may sound ragey but I honestly don't like this kind of difficulty, I prefer games like dark souls where I can experiment as much as I want without having to grinding
When I killed Rom first time and saw the Blood Moon descending, I realised I'd not even scratched the surface of the story.
I stopped playing a few months ago out of frustration. I was stuck on two very rage inducing areas: the nightmare of mensis and its frenzy bullshit mechanic that I hate and the upper cathedral ward. The latter was the last straw for me, I hate this ugly ass dogs and especially those chtulhu brainsuckers things. Now some time has passed and I want to give it another try, which area would you suggest to do first?
Fresh player, literally bought the game 2 days ago and I’m already in love with it. But the woods can suck a fat pile of doodoo XD
idk if my last post went through but i’m trying to go into a dungeon and it keeps saying i need a holy chalice to conduct a ritual and no one on youtube is showing how can someone please help me
First of all I don’t know if I’m underleveled or what, (my current level is 198, I don’t know what the level requirement is for this dlc, and I’m not on ng.) I had a hard time with the Accursed mainly because of his absurdly large health pool but I just managed to defeat him first try, but the first vicar’s attacks are just relentless, especially since every one of them is followed up with some kind of lava aoe explosion that deals damage and causes me to stagger. I just can’t find any good counters or reach arounds for him.
[NG+][bl216] Need help with the dlc
I'm at first boss (forgot the name) and he's kicking my shit in so I need someone to help me through the dlc
I saw this weapon many times on the internet, people just use the skill and absolutely destroy every boss in the game. I want to use it too(Btw I don't have ps+ so I can't use chalice dungeons to get this thing)
Hi all, I've just started Bloodborne and I was wondering how early you're able to get the Whirligig Saw and how many bosses you need to beat at minimum before you can get it. Feel free to include any spoilers in your answers
So I was wondering, if you choose for Gehrman to kill you instead of fighting him but you have the 3 cords, does it just lead to the normal ending wher ehe kills you, or is there something else?
