I’m currently stuck on this boss with 7 VIT, 10 STAM, 10 STR, 50 SKILL and 50 BT. I’m trying my absolute best not to do co op but wow this boss literally 1 shots you with everything so you have to play it 100% perfect. I know it’s easy to say “level up your health and stamina” blah blah but I can get him to almost 50%. I know that it’s possible, outside of people beating it at BL4, lmao. I generally just stick to his left, so my right, and then I just gather distance and run away from certain moves (lava attack, lunging, etc) to which I usually end up on his back left attacking his leg.
Honestly, his back left leg is the safest place that I’ve found to attack him as far as dodging his attacks goes, but surely this can’t be the best strategy. I feel like I do no damage to him with my +9 lost Chikage with +350 bleed damage. The fight just drags on which causes me to lose patience and make stupid errors, which tbh just makes the game more tedious than enjoyably difficult. I recognize that problem falling on me with my min-maxxing rather than it being the game itself, but jeez I can’t wait to just beat this boss and get it over with!!
My hunter is ready for anything
this is ng+7 difficulty
I fought the 2 giant bosses I found, killed both hunters including one operating a fucking machine gun
Beats me why these guys supposedly doing the same job I’m doing decide to double team to try and kill me 😂
I’ve basically been farming and levelling up my character just repeating the same area over and over again
At this point I have end game tier life and stamina and I’m only at the start of the game
I know the game is designed to be hard and when I played DS3 and Elden Ring I “got good” but that took 30 hours. Now that I’m in college and everything stressful I just wanna relax and play some games and Bloodborne has great story and atmosphere so I was just wondering how I could make the game a little bit easier so I could enjoy it more. Is the answer just farming early game enemies, and over leveling?
"Seek pale blood to transcend the hunt." Not stop it, not cease the production of old blood, transcend. Those are the first words you are likely to read in any given playthrough of Bloodborne. In any other game this motivation would be selfish, cruel, even underhanded. But in Bloodborne it's not.
You are just one person, like any other. You act largely alone throughout the events of the game and you do truly HORRIBLE things, but the game does not depict it as a bad thing. The Hunt is a horrific metaphor for a life lived under the tyrannical hand of cruelty. The old blood heals, but only temporarily, it provides an escape for the broken and battered but only temporarily. Blood is violence and the power that comes with it. People cannot handle living a life entirely of violence. Even the Vicars with all their will and fortitude will fall eventually. Even The Hunters who ennact violence for "good" succumb to it's dreadful temptations.
But you know better. The Hunter does not win when she kills the big bad, when everything is set to normal and everyone is happy and free, because cycles of violence do not allow for such a smooth conclusion. You win when you escape. No matter how selfish you are, no matter how brutal you are, the game never depicts it as a bad thing, it is simply something you have to do to survive.
Bloodborne tells us there is no glory in violence. Those who find glory or peace or righteousness in it will be consumed by it, will become part of the very thing that destroys them. It tells us that sometimes all you can do is save yourself, break the cycle and rise above it. Or just walk away. Even after killing Gehrman, eating the umbilical cords and destroying the Moon Presence, in the eyes of the doll (the one voice of true good in the story) you are still the "Good Hunter" not because you did what was right, but because you got out.
Like the title reads, I screwed up basically the only sidequest I was actually excited about. I'm playing along for the first time, loosely following FightinCowboy's walkthrough, and was looking forward to the fight with the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst. Basically I'm just saying I am continually upset with the permanence in these games- I feel like every session I end up saying "well, I guess I'll get that next playthrough." When I first tried DS1, I hit the Crestfallen Warrior by accident and it took forever until I figured out how to seek forgiveness. I mean I only hit the Crow once! She and Henryk faded away like they got snapped by Thanos. Gosh.
Anyway if anyone has any consoling messages please let me know, I'm pretty depressed.

I love watching how other players died
You should look into The Last Faith. It's a combination of Bloodborne, Blasphemous, and Metrovania. If you like Bloodborne I cannot recommend this enough! It may not be Bloodborne 2, but it does scratch that Bloodborne itch if you need more Bloodborne in your life.
Ladies, gentlemen and hoonters, i would like to share my joy with you all as i have finally beaten Orphan after 4 freaking days! Now off to fight Gherman cause i didn't wanna go into NG+ before beating everything and everyone 😂😂😂
I wish there was an ending that let you leave a bunch of the eldritch horror creatures that didn’t do jack shit to get hunted. Like an item for at least ONE old one that lets you just go “sorry homie, go home.” Can anyone relate? Like there are to many creatures/monsters/abominations that deserve the sorry go home treatment. Or the pc in game really is here to hunt so disregard my argument.
As the title says I am an offline player of Bloodborne I have a platinum trophy for Bloodborne.
However I never really explored chalice dungeons beyond what I needed for the trophy.
Since I am almost finished my current playthrough just DLC and bosses after Mergo's Loft are left to avoid spoilers.
So for an offline player that wants to gsther some good blood gems and get some bloodstone chunks what chalice dungeons do I want to try and build?
I've never truly understood the chalice dungeons either as I didn't dig in to them.
If the crows are actually dogs; Would Elileen the Crow, A hunter of hunters, actually be a Dog the Bounty Hunter reference? With enough insight of course...
I want to know who us the closest to the truth of the great ones

Besides Yaarghul or whatever the freak it's called, this place made me the most mad I have been in a long time
Title says all rom is such a pushover boss to be honest. Like if you have leveled correctly and have a few bolt papers or tonitrus rom herself is an absolute wet sack of potatoes and as long as you dont just rush her and take care of a few of the ads and run around her in a circle during her meteors its almost impossible to die. Id say any boss up to rom is far harder than her. Seems every post is someone struggling with rom or saying shes the worst boss in the game.
