So is this is the same Dragonslayer you fight in DSR,or its just his brother or something lmfao?
So how do I access the DLCs?
Uh yeah title about sums it up, yall wanna help with first dlc?
Hohoho
Say I’m farming for an item and I’ve wiped out the enemies permanently and they no longer respawn. Will joining the covenant repopulate the area if I’ve already hit the 12 threshold? I know a bonfire ascetic would, but that’s different.
Have two newish chars started. One aimed at Roaring Halberd Dark build and one Santiers Spear build.
Former took them down first time. Granted stayed atop and cast Dark Orbs for a lot of it. This 2nd felt fairly safe, with my +6 Lightning Mace and casting Magic Weapon on it to boot. But 3 deaths later, and having to do this reclear of area is enough to be a bit rage inducing.
It's more about luck in this battle many times. Last was going well enough but got the slam attack that took most of health so tried to heal quick, but focused on me and did jump attack and it was all she wrote.
Very, very, angering. Do not feel like doing this again.
Edit: Oh and sporting Drangleic Shield too, so good blocking. Was feeling pretty confident and even took down first one up on ledge without taking any damage. That's why so aggravating to die.
The exploration, the soundtrack, the lore and characters managed to astound me once again even after playing all the other FROM games. I get huge Elden Ring vibes from this game and I loved using my Hexer build which made these playthroughs an extremely unique and fun experience. However I do need to finish my NG++ run because I missed Aldia 😭😭😭 with that being said I CANT WAIT TO START DS3 FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! PRAY FOR ME 🙏
I think so!
i feel like my rolls aren't exactly rolls. i just started the game (i'm an hour in) but it feels like i call for death anytime i press circle. how am i supposed to fight?
I am not sure where I am supposed to go at the moment.
I killed the big spider and got that primal bonfire, as well as the sinner. Now I went down the hole in majula, but there was just a rat king and I don't want to waste lockstones here because it seems like a good place to waste them if you don't know what you are doing.
I wasted my branch of yore, sadly..
Everywhere I go it says "produce the symbol of the king" or "get mightier souls"
I am really tired of blindly running around and talking to every possible npc with no real hints.
What the hell have I missed?
i absolutely despise 1 but love 3 because the mechanics are smooth and immediate. which one is it more like
No one actually likes this right?
(I'm sure one contrarian will be like "well ackually I like it..." but really, no, you don't)
Bridge too far IMO
I've played this game countless times and just found out (entirely on accident) that you could do that
Well thats it for DS2 i didnt do the dlcs so i might do that tomorrow, last boss was really easy honestly but here we go.Overall 6/10 for me as entire game.
They killed me too.
I’m on Ng+ if that’s anything
I think I'm circling the endgame of my first playthrough. I killed Vendrick, cleared the Dragon's Shrine(left the dragon alive), and did like three giant memories, the king memory, and the dragon memory.
I think I'm right at the end of base game(unless I missed another memory?)
So I think that just leaves DLC. Is there a preferred order to tackle these? Something that makes sense for lore/story? Practicality reasons? I know I've ran across a bunch of the gates/portals for the DLCs but I really don't know which is which offhand.
Any suggestions?
So, after playing Bloodborne on ps4 and Elden Ring on ps5, I finally got around to playing Dark Souls on their horrendous PC-ports (Got them on sale many years ago). DS1 was a blast and pretty simple to get the needed mods installed and activated.
Now I seek guidance for DS2 as the process just to get the game playable for me seems quite daunting. With this I mean the QoL mods like PS button UI mods, enhanced graphics and what not. As I’ve gathered I’m required to install GeDoSaTo before I can repeat the process of the way I installed mods for DS1. OK, simple enough, or so I thought. For this to work I need to disable secure boot. Is this safe for my PC? If so, do you have any recommended mods for a first time playthrough? Thanks in advance.
There’s the statue outside of Majula and another one in Lost Bastille, which one makes the most sense for me to use it on?
i want to get the platinum ds2 SOTFS on console, i know i have to go ng++ for all spells cause some are sold only in ng+ and ng++, can't i just bonfire ascetic the bonfire where the merchant is ?
I'm a little over 30 hours into Dark Souls 3. This is my first ever playthrough. I've noticed that Dark Souls 3 retained a lot of the things that people say are problems in Dark Souls 2. Being able to Warp to and from any bonfire that you've visited right from the beginning. Constant ambushes by multiple enemies. Disconnected level design. Enemies that pretty much instantly turn to hit you wherever you've rolled in the middle of their attack. The list goes on and on. I am really enjoying Dark Souls 3, though it has definitely frustrated me quite a bit in certain places. Really looking forward to every new area that I get to. I have to say though, after 30 plus hours, Dark Souls 2 is still my favorite.
