Which board do you guys prefer at micro center. They are offering two types of motherboards at micro center at the moment. One is from asus and one is from gigabyte
I can really only speak of one narrow slice of the GPU market since I've been shopping for an RX 6800. Right now, the cheapest deals I'm finding are between $315-330. This price for a one, almost two, generation-old card isn't terrible in of itself so much as it's very strange since there's at least one 6800 available brand new for $360 which was on sale a few weeks ago for $340.
Aside from this oddity, I wonder how much a card should be valued given that it's still available new, given the obvious benefits of buying hardware brand new. My from-the-hip idea is 60-70%, but I'm curious what others might think and if anyone has taken a deeper dive into the numbers than my quick jaunt.
AI is changing the market, taking away jobs and possibly creating new ones. With the reduction of jobs, companies stand to make more money, the key to entry being Nvidia products.
As customers, should we expect shortages in graphics cards? Or should we invest in their only competitor AMD?
I'm just wondering what your speculation on this is.
Many like myself are nowhere near a Micro Center Store, and it is very disappointing to see great deals only to be let down time and time again.
Hello,
I see a 7900xtx new for sale for $650.00 is this worth the price? trying to buy two.
Looked at specs and can't find any info. There are two Displayports 1.4 but I'm not sure if one has to be specifically labeled "out" to daisychain to another monitor.
Does anyone know where I could find a good RGB LED backplate for a mini ITX mobo? Apologies - my Google-Fu must be F'd. Thx
Like Egghead, Fry's Electronics, Computer City, CompUSA, etc. :(
And I can't even comment on the sticky.
C'mon, guys, how am I supposed to spam the comment section on what flavor of Linux to use instead of Windows now?!
I've been mashing F5 on their product page over the past couple days and this morning I noticed they added the "High Demand Product" text to the page with "This item is expected to sell out quickly. To improve your odds of getting one, we've updated our reservation process." That makes me wonder if they're getting ready to offer some inventory for sale?
As the title suggests I wanted to know what real world pricing would be for Nvidia GPUs after January.

Looking to upgrade an 1700 to a 5600x to prolong the life of my current build. I mostly game with my computer. With the tiktok deal I can it for $130, it is worth it? Really I'm asking how much performance difference could I expect?
All I see is B&H and it's hardly a sale. Willing to buy 3 or 4, max I can pay is $110 each.
How is it deals on 8tb drives have all but disappeared?? I need to replace a drive on a raid 5, and I can buy a 12tb for about the same price as an 8tb....wth?
Hello guys, I hope you are well.
I'm trying to put together my next setup with the following specifications, I add the most important ones to my question:
- Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI
- G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) 6000MT/s CL30-36-36-96 1.35V
https://www.amazon.com/-/es/gp/product/B0CJX8K4XT/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3TOECTKC4OEBD&psc=1
Regarding the RAM memory, I have a doubt, on the ASUS website it says that the RAM model F5-6000J3036F16GX2-TZ5NRW (white) does NOT appear to be compatible with this MOBO, but on the G.SKILL website it says that if it is compatible. So, who tells the truth? I want to build a white setup, but I'd like to know if this RAM memory is compatible with the MOBO before making the purchase.
Thanks guys.
If I did something wrong, I apologize, I'm new here.

I was browsing for extra storage and came across this. It's tempting since it's a Gen4 drive for 86.99 but no reviews. I see there are 50+ purchases this month and it has links to the Gigabyte store (but the Gigabyte store doesn't have this on sale)
I plan to ship this to my country but I don't want the hassle on going through returns in case this is a scam.
Thank you.
Was not active long enough for me to log in and post but i wanted to let people know so they can keep watching and set alerts accordingly. Same deal as posted earlier this week, combo #4574705
Looking to see how much this could potentially sell for all together.

I recently bought the xfx speedster 6800xt, and it turns out it is like an inch too long to fit in my case, the coolermaster elite 130
What AMD cards are out there that will fit?

Hello, I found a 7900 xt on amazon for 399: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BR6L7TKR/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3I6AOI299KDZJ&psc=1
I was a little suspicious about the seller but I mean, it seems to be a legit product. Should I be worried at all if I buy this product? At the very least, it is protected by amazon's guarantee but I'm still feeling a bit uncertain about it.
This would be for a laptop, and for reasons, can't upgrade the internal drive. Going back and forth between a purpose-built external drive and a drive + enclosure, but this combo seems like a good deal.
Looking for thoughts and feedback.

This Post did not have comments for several hours after it was made. In the comments Automoderator stated "All comments on posts with the OS flair require manual review."
Isn't this kind of sketchy? Someone could post a questionable link and no one would know until the moderators turn on comments.
I forgot I was gonna try to snag a card. Anyone stay up know what they had? There was no post on build a pc sales.
Hopefully the title is self explanatory, but I'd like to figure out a way to get an alert of some kind, ideally a message on reddit when a deal for an HDD is posted, is there a simple way to do that?
Unless you want 4k, you will love the price to performance.
The answer is yes
I get it, the GPU market sucks and all GPU's should be $X00.00 less and so forth. But when you're in the market for a new GPU (my GTX 1080 is showing its age and I need an upgrade soon) you don't have much choice. I have been following BuildAPCSales for a couple weeks closely and realized there are a lot of good GPU deals of all-time lows that I might have at least considered jumping that are at zero upvotes and I thus missed on my feed. The comments will be filled with things such as "still $200 overpriced" and the like. Well it sucks if the price is high but when you need a GPU you need a GPU. If it's at or near an all-time low it should get posted and upvoted.
