Trying to build a budget gaming PC, currently this is what I've come up with for roughly $1,000
Any suggestions on component compatibility, better options or anything else are appreciated!
I want to start recording, editing and streaming gaming and podcasting to YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. I am currently using WiFi, and paying for 1 Gig, 940 Mbps upload and download speeds, although it’s a new apartment so I haven’t tested it yet and can look into wiring in. I’d like to be able to stream direct from PC, I currently play League of Legends and Stardew Valley. I’d also like to stream from my Xbox to my PC for MLB the Show 25. Budget is very flexible, just started a new job, and am willing to save to achieve a better PC.
I was tryna see if I can get a PC that can work for 3D modeling in Blender and be able to run most sim racing games like ACC and iRacing. I also want it to play most games on the internet at over 150 FPS if possible. I don’t plan to play R6 or Fortnite too much, but I just want it to be able to run games like War Thunder, as well as simple games like Minecraft, Terraria, or even Undertale. I also plan to play games like Sea of Thieves or CS:GO and be able to at least power two monitors, like one superwide curved monitor for my sim rig. It should also be good for multitasking, and most of the parts in the PC should be upgradeable later on, like upgrading 16GB of RAM to 32GB in the future. It should also be able to handle most games (close to God of War graphics) at over 120 FPS.
i had someguy reccomended me these parts but im not sure if they are good
AMD ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 Ghz 6core proccessor
AMD Wraith Stealth Cpu cooler
Gigabyte B550M K micro ATX Am4 Motherboard
ASrock challenger D radeon RX 6600 8Gb video card
Silicon power gaming 32Gb ( 2x16gb ) DDR4-3200 CL16 memory
Kingston NV2 1TB M.2-2280 PCLE x4 NVME solid state drive
And everything is on a cooler master masterbox Q300L MicroATX mini tower case
im not really sure if its a good setup but if it isnt can someone build me a setup around my budget? thank you so much
I'm in need of a PC that is fully cable with running Chrome, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat simultaneously and reliably. I'm currently using a 2019 iMac, 3ghz 6-core Intel core i5, Radeon Pro 570x 4Gb, 8gb 2667 ddr4 running Sonoma 14.2.1. It's so slow I want to tear my hair out. I almost rarely run more than 1 program at once and it still runs like a snail.
Hey guys, my nvme is not showing up in bios and when im also trying to install windows.
SPECS:

This is my current parts list so far, I have limited knowledge about a lot of things to do with pcs so I was hoping to get some advice on what I should change or remove to make it cheaper. I do however would like to build around a white gpu, an aio since I like the aesthetic and that ridiculously overpriced case. Thanks in advance!
My budget is 1300e, my build for now is
i want a better ram and motherboard and maybe other processor, if you can suggest what part should i switch please write down

Hey,
Looking for a new rig. I only need the core part (CPU, GPU, Fans, Case, PSU, ...) of the computer, I already have screens, keyboard, mouse, etc.
I'm looking to play new games (such as Monster Hunter Wild, Assassin's creed Shadows, ...) on very high/high parameters on a 1440p screen.
Anything to look for ?
Cheers,
Hello community,
I've come to you for some help.. I'd like to build a new PC that can perform well for my photo edition and gaming. I've never built my own, I'm new to this apart for some reading I've done. I live remote so everything will be bought online (if that's of any concern).
I do quite a bit of photo editing, RAW images through Lightroom. I currently have a 4TB external drive where I keep all my photos so they don't use too much space in my current ASUS laptop. Need to say that this ASUS TUF laptop has been great. I've noticed that Gaming set ups work quite well for photo editing, colours, processor, etc, so i'd like to stick to that. I live in a hot and humid area so one of my main concerns is good air flow to avoid overheating.
Budget wise, I'd like to stay under $3,000 AUD, I'm sure I can put something very decent with that budget, but I'm here to read all your comments.
Edit: Cable internet connection/wifi and bluetooth if possible?
Thanks heaps!!
Good day!
Can you please check my build? https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/vPTgQd
It's my 1st time building a PC but I still have a lot that I don't know about.
I plan to build around Ryzen 5 7600 and RX 7800XT which I think is enough for what I want with some flexibility for higher-demanding games. Feel free to suggest any alternatives if you think there's a better way to go around this that is cheaper.
Budget: <AU$2000
I already have a keyboard, mouse, monitor. Monitor is 1080p w/ freesync which is why I prefer AMD.
Planned Use:
Aesthetic Preference: Micro ATX Form Factor Black Case w/ White Lights
Some questions:
Thanks in advance!
Looking at two prebuilds at the moment that both have the same specs except their CPUs are different.
One has an i7 14700f, one has a ryzen 7 5700x.
Along with a 4070 super and with the intent to game and stream which would work best? I am more than a little lost when it comes to CPUs 😅
Note that I do not care about 4k gaming, since I know that may sway some reasoning.
Hi! I've had my previous PC surrounding a Ryzen 5 2500 and RTX 2060 for almost 5 years now, and I haven't been in the know about PC building since I built it back in 2020. Trying to spend around $2000 USD for something on AM5 and a 50 series GPU (if its worth it). I'm primarily playing games like Cyberpunk 2077 and RDR2. I'm looking to prioritize quietness and don't need anything flashy since I'll be dorming in college come next august. LMK what yall can cook up.
it doesn’t have to be way too fancy just need a pc that won’t lag anywhere and windows 11
btw it has to be 1400-1700 dollars
Hello!
I mainly play warzone and have been playing on PS5, looking to upgrade to PC though. Really would like to have a much higher frame rate than what the ps5 currently provides.
Not really worried about the price, but don’t want something that has a ton more power than what I use it for.
Any help would be appreciated!
https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/byYYQd#compatibility_notes
this is my current build.
i need a psu and i was wondering what variant of the 7900XT is the best?
powercolor hellhound - 700
gigabyte radeon - 710
xfx - 719
sapphire pulse - 729
asrock - 750
sapphite nitro + - 780
Haven't built a PC in 5 yrs and have forgotten a lot of stuff.
Budget: $2500
Peripherals: Already have these
Country of purchase: Locally (Australia)
I do not care about the aesthetics of the PC, just purely about function and getting high FPS and nice graphics for years to come.
my pc has a 7800x3d and rtx 3080 and it appartenly dont meet requirments to donwload windows 11
The PC is for my father, no need for RGB, fancy case, etc.
I showed him Cities Skylines, I know he will definitely be playing that, maybe some other build sim games like Planet Zoo and Planet Coaster. Can’t see him playing a ton of different games so a 512 gb SSD should be perfectly fine. I can always upgrade the storage for him in the future if necessary.
No problem buying used parts either. I can build the PC, just have no idea where to start when it comes to parting out a build at a certain budget.
Also just the PC, already have peripherals.
You spend hours assembling your dream PC, and somehow - SOMEHOW - there's always that one mysterious screw you can’t find. It’s like the universe’s way of mocking you. Meanwhile, the guy who bought a prebuilt is chilling, sipping coffee, and laughing at your misery. Anyone else feel personally attacked by missing screws? Upvote if you're on the struggle bus too.
Hi! I'm having a hard time deciding which GPU I should get. I can't seem to find much about the 10GB version of the RX 6750 GRE which is why I have no clue about its performance but what I have read is that the 12GB RX 6750 GRE is better that the RX 7600 XT. Both of the choices are Sapphire Pulse. It'll be my first time building a PC almost entirely for Triple A games and was hoping for a GPU that'll be the best one for the next 3 years. Another one I'm considering is the RX 6750 XT from XFX.
Here's the pricelist of the three:
Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT Gaming OC 16GB GDDR6 - $365
Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 6750 GRE 160 bit 10GB GDDR6 - $320
XFX RADEON RX 6750XT BLACK 12GB GDDR6 TRIPLE FAN - $410 (50/50 on this since I'm on a budget but if it's superior in every way I can pitch in a bit more, this is the only available 6750xt in the local market right now)
Also, here's something to consider regarding the build I'm going for:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X MoBo: Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX AM5 DDR5
I'm fixed on the CPU but I might consider a different MoBo if any of you suggest better options. Thank you!
Hey I need some help with building a pc 1000 cad preferably I'm a tiny bit flexible with the price any help would be good
Hello. Does anyone know how to open 50+ emulator at the same time? or whats the needed set up? My set up currently is i9 12cores 24 threads, 64gb ram. Without lagging, the maximum emulator i can open is only 20. Ive seen chinese and indians open 50+ emulator in one pc at the same time. Can you help me? Thanks in advance guys.
I am looking to get a gaming pc in the 800-1000$ range. I've seen from other posts that pre-builds are extremely bad performance per dollar in this price range. I have however, seen posts on facebook marketplace for pcs in this price range that seem to be of good quality. As someone who does not know much about pcs (this will be my first, have only ever had macbooks) is the risk worth it for buying used? Like how likely am I to be scammed without what I see as all the knowledge to fully vet a pc?
If I went custom build, what build would give me a good path to upgrade specific components in a few years when necessary so I don't need to start from scratch again? Looking to play fps games at 1080-1440p at moderate fps, and maybe some story games, though I realize I wont have be able to run at the highest settings at this price range.
Thanks!
ps already have a monitor and keyboard
Figured it would be best to ask here. I know minimal about PCs lol. But I would like to have one that can run 1080-1440p with the most amount of frames possible. This will strictly be for gaming, would like for it to be able to go a few years without an upgrade. Thanks in advance.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wtkQh3
here is my current build, idk what i wanna do yet have some questions
is ddr5 worth getting if you have ddr4?
if yes then i was thinking of maybe doing a ryzen 7 9800X3D, or is intel still the way to go?
is it better to just upgrade my cpu and gpu? i wanna make the most out of my monitor
I built my old PC in 2018-2019 with an RTX 2070 and an upgraded 5600x in 2021. It was fine for my simulation heavy games, and worked OK for VR, but ultimately Marvel Rivals happened and now my PC is just not cutting it for 1440p. Crashing to desktop/bluescreen not cutting it.
Build Request: I am looking to upgrade to a system which can run modern games at 1440p at high/ultra graphics at at least 60 fps stable. I kinda want to stream now and then, but it's not the main concern. My soft budget is ~$1500 USD, but I would consider up to $2000 if I am near some breakpoints in performance for cost-effective returns on the extra money. I'd also consider dropping the budget if I don't actually need that much for 1440p gaming. Ideally I'll keep my current SSDs and case so that I can free up more for the main systems, but if those need to be upgraded then so be it; I'll link them below. The CPU/GPU space is just so much more crowded than I remember, and the supplies are so low that prices seem inflated - my 2070 went from like $450 to $300. I'd absolutely have expected it to be lower. I'm not sure what the good value for my money is, so I'm asking for builds here.
Location: MA, USA.
Peripherals: Will keep 1440p 75fps monitors, so I don't need peripherals.
large Electronics stores nearby: Only large electronics stores nearby are BestBuys.
Brand Preference: No special interest in AMD/Nvidia/Intel whatever; A good build is a good build, I don't care what brands.
RGB: RGB doesn't matter to me.
Cooling: I would prefer air cooled instead of water cooled, since the water cooling seems more complicated, and harder to ship long distances in case I move overseas. My case does have full fans but I'd be OK if I need to swap them out for super top tier ones.

Hey everyone, I’m planning a new PC build and would love some advice! My main priorities are audio production and high-end gaming at 1440p 144Hz. I also want it to be future-proof so I can keep it for years without major upgrades. This budget is only for the PC. I have everything else. Can be UK or German Amazon! Is it doable with my budget?
I currently have:
How much could I reasonably sell this for?
Used ChatGPT for formatting help haha anyways, thanks in advance!

I’m aiming for a solid 1080p/1440p gaming rig that will last a few years and also handle some casual video editing. Here are a few things I’m particularly concerned about:
CPU/GPU Bottlenecks – Will the Arc B580 and i5-13400F pair well or could there be a bottleneck?
Price-to-Performance – Am I spending too much on certain parts, or missing a better deal somewhere?
Missing Parts – Am I forgetting things like extra fans, fan splitters, or any other accessories?
Power Supply/Compatibility – Is the 650W Bronze PSU sufficient or is it worth upgrading?
Motherboard Choice – Is the H610M-E a solid option, or should I consider another board for future upgrades?
I’d love any suggestions, from potential savings to better brand options or small QOL improvements. Being my first build, I want to make sure I’m not overlooking anything important, so I’m open to all advice.
