Hello, could anyone tell me the brand and model of this monitor? Thanks I want a curved ultrawide monitor between 27 to 29 inches. I accept nominations, thank you!
Dropped my OLED G6 I bought used off ebay, what should I do!? It has dead pixels in the corner and turns on for like 10 sec then back off, should I contact support? I don't know about warranty on used monitors.
Will they replace the panel for free?
As you can probably see in this image, the area where the flashlight is pointing is so bright you can't even see what's on the board. Any ideas as to how to make white colors less intense?
Recently thinking about a possible monitor upgrade since been using the XG27UQ for around 7 years
Looking at this new monitor XG27ACDNG but curious if anyone knows how much of an upgrade it would be.
More of a fan i'd guess of this new monitor stand as well, for some reason i've been frustrated with the V Shaped ASUS monitor stand recently also

Hi, first off, would it be a good deal to get one at $478 USD?
I’m just not sure if it’s a worthwhile upgrade considering I am currently using a XB273U GSbmiiprzx.
I mainly will use it for games like monster hunter and bg3. Not really big on competitive shooters/moba. More into RPG/adventure single player type of games.
My GPU is a 4080S and my CPU is a 78003XD.
Would like to know if it’s a worthwhile upgrade and if so, would it be possible to change it from a stand to an arm?
I saw this bad boy in stock and impulse bought it yesterday…. But I’m furthering my research and wondering if there are any red flags for my use case; playing Xbox SX in a casual single player way, after richer colors and better black levels than I’m used to on my 4K Dell office monitor (S2722QC). The Rtings review obviously crushes my current display for this use, but a few things I’m concerned about:
VRR flicker. Is this more of a PC related issue? My guess is console games are just as prone to FPS dips, but I’d love to be able to play notoriously sluggish games like Elden Ring without too much fuss.
Scaling resolutions. This being 1440p, it appears the Xbox will scale its 4k signal and work just as well. However, I’ve seen reports in comments online that say this configuration makes input less ideal, running at 60hz. I’m content with 60hz, and only want to test the waters in 120hz without HDR and all of that.
Lastly, I have an M2 Mac mini that I use for light web browsing, YouTube and streaming content. Will connect with DisplayPort. Don’t think much trouble is in the way there despite vastly differing takes on how MacOS handles 1440p resolutions.
Any help from people with this monitor and this console would be very much appreciated (Switch is docked as well, and I have an mClassic upscale dongle so i have plenty to mess around with)
Hi guys it's me again I've decided to go with a 32 inch 4k monitor for my setup but everywhere I look there's really expensive OLEDS that are way out of my range. I know 32 inch 4k is far from budget but does anyone know any good monitors like this which won't truly break the bank. (Ps low reshresh rate is fine my build won't be able to run those frames)
This is Asus VG249Q1A. I've been using it for around 2.5 years. A couple lines, like on the image, appeared after 2 years. There are more and more lines each week or so. Also, now they appear at the top as well.
I understand that there is no way to fix this, but can someone tell what is the cause? I want to replace it but I don't want this ta happen again.
I'm using two monitors on my PC. The other one is Dell and it is much older and has no lines like that. We had some power outages but those lines started to appear much later.
I'm getting really bad screen tearing and stutter on https://www.testufo.com/stutter, I don't know if the test is supposed to cause the stutter intentionally or no, but here I'm just asking to your guys.
I have ticked vsync in my Linux workspace, I see it no longer tearing on normal webpage search (I see it all the time before I enable vsync). But I get really bad tearing on that stutter test
Im currently testing the AMA setting on my XL2411P and I see blue shadows while aimtraining. Specifically when I flick to a target, any targets in my current view have a blue shadow which disappears after I flick. I do not know if this is a good or bad thing, but I assume it is bad so my best option was off (instead of HIGH or PREMIUM).
Is this happening with you guys as well?
Does anyone have any tips for setting up a UPS for your PC ( laptop setup ) , to avoid any issues that you might encounter , I'm getting a setup soon and buying a UPS with it and would like to know the best possible way to avoid any problems with it .
Hey guys,
So I'm in the market for a new monitor as a treat to myself for my birthday. I've currently got a MSI AG32CV, which clocks in at 32 inch at 165 hz with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080.
Preferably, I'd like a 4k monitor, at the same refresh rate or better, With the same size. Obviously I'd like it to be as cheap as possible but still a decent upgrade, With noticeable improvements in picture quality.
Thanks for reading guys, have a great day/night
My monitor flickers at first start but stops after a few minutes. Can it be a cold joint? It started 2 days ago, I guess. Monitor: Asus Tuf VG27WQ
I’m looking to upgrade to a 4K OLED 240hz monitor, not really interested in TVs or anything bigger than 32” or ultrawide
Monitor prices are very erratic where I live. So much so that the PG32UCDP costs less than the PG32UCDM (1300$ vs 1700$). All prices mentioned include a 15% VAT tax. Budget is 1500$ but it’s flexible.
I’ll be using the monitor mainly for gaming and media consumption alongside the occasional 2-4h of work on mostly static content once a week.
My PC specs are 4090, 13700K and 32gb DDR5 ram. Not looking to upgrade any time soon, So I don’t really care about DP 2.1
Regarding lighting concerns I can probably control the lighting so QD-OLEDs are not compromised.
Just hoping to get some opinions on what is the best or more sensible choice to make.
Current options are:
1- PG32UCDP (1300$)
2- MPG 321URX (1380$)
3- AORUS FO32U2 (1150$)
4- AORUS FO32U2 Pro (1333$)
5- MAG 321UP (960$)
6- LG 32GS95UV (1333$)
7- PG27UCDM (???)
So I'm in the market for a monitor to help expand my setup.
Currently my laptop is used for gaming / work / teaching all in one.
I know that OLED will provide the best picr6when it comes to gaming/media.
But I do play more strategic games with stagnant UI and my work/teaching includes looking at still standing documents and websites.
My fear is just the burn in aspect when it comes to OLEDs.
I know LED monitors will eliminate that issue, but are modern LEDs worth that compromise for the avoidance of OLED burn in.
I'm still learning of all the available options/terms/etc., so any advice would be appreciated
I am currently using a 16:9 iiyama office monitor which I want to replace soon.
My main PC usages are writing/reading, music mixing, consuming & editing images & videos/film, as well as (although rarely intensely) gaming.
My main bottleneck is the aspect ratio I desire. I personally really don't like 16:9 for various reasons, I'd prefer 3:2 (but I am not aware of any 3:2 monitors), 16:10 or even 4:3.
So far, I came to the conclusion that the BenQ RD240Q probably comes closest to what I am looking for (I don't see the big difference in coding and writing other things), but I simultanously have heard some negative feedback regarding this specific model and all the eye-protection and color modes it is advertised with.
I hope this post doesn't break rule 4, if this is the case, I am really sorry.
Hi everyone,
I can’t get more then 60hz in any resolution in the windows and ndvidia panel. When I choose 1444p or 1080p, I am able to use 120hz and more. But I get two big vertical blacks lines that reduce my screen. I use an hdmi 2.0.
Anybody can help me with that ? I hope I don’t need to send it to the repair. Thank you
I bought this monitor based on RTINGS review, and am confused by the colour space settings.
The menu lets me choose between sRGB, DCI-P3 and wide gamut, but each mode looks exactly the same, so I'm wonderinf if it's broken. Furthermore, this test https://www.wide-gamut.com/test says my monitor is not capable of displaying wide gamut, but that's what the OSD is set to!
Can anyone explain what am I doing wrong, if anything?
I am trying to upgrade to 1440P 27" monitor mainly for gaming
so i am looking for second hand options and for a decent price, I found the 27GL850 at 250 USD
Should i go for it or wait more for better options? (Any suggestions)
Also is 32" good for 1440P or i should leave it only for 4k?
Thanks in advance for the advises
I hope this is the correct subreddit for this question.
I have a triple monitor setup. Main monitor 27" 1440p and the others are 24" 1080p.
When I put a window between two monitors the part on the secondary monitor is larger than the one on the main monitor. Even though the middle of the monitors are alligned correctly and have the right resolution in the settings.
Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this issue?
Been using this for an unknown amount of time lol

Hi all 🙏
Wanted to ask if anyone knows about the current status of the Dell G2724D, as it seems to be marked as "Unavailable" on both my country's Dell site as well as the American one.
I spent some time researching and settled on this as my Endgame monitor, so was quite disappointed to find it's out of stock :/ I wonder if they are discontinuing it due to release of the G2725D, but have heard negative reviews of the new monitor. It's not currently available in my region anyway.
If anyone has any info, I would greatly appreciate it! Really hope it gets restocked 😅
If anyone has other recommendations for 24"/ 27", 1440, IPS monitors that are 100hz and above i would greatly appreciate it as well. I am currently also considering AOC Q24G4E that is 1440p and 24" in my country.
Hi, 19 days left till my birthday, and I can't decide Qhd 165hz or fhd 240hz
I mostly play roblox and fortnite and I am pro player in fortnite but my laptop isn't good it has RTX 3050 i5 11400H and when I get fhd 240hz I'll play fortnite on pc, when I get Qhd 165hz I'll play on ps5 because my laptop can't do qhd
Hey everyone,
I recently returned my Samsung Odyssey G8 OLED under warranty and got my money back. I liked the screen, and the PPI (~109) didn’t really bother me, but now I want to upgrade to something better.
I use my monitor 50% for coding, 50% for gaming. Right now, I’m working on a MacBook Pro M4 Pro and I have gaming PC with no screen, and I really miss gaming. I definitely want OLED, because after using it on the G8, it’s hard to go back to anything else.
Should I wait for upcoming releases, or is there something I’m missing?
Do you think a 4K or 1600p ultrawide OLED might be coming soon?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Today i just got the AOC 24g2se monitor 165hz and having was smooth until i started having a headache out of nowhere, eye strain and feeling a likttle bitt nauseous.
Ive turned down the brightness contrast and everything but its still continuing. Also wanted to add that the sides becoming blurry whenever i turned my camera, almost like motion blur was added to it.
Ive been stuck on 60hz my whole entire life and the brightness on that monitor was crazy bright and never experienced any physical symptoms.. would appreciate any help! I jus wanna play games again
Hey everyone,
I'm looking to upgrade my monitor setup and could use some advice. Right now, I'm running a triple 24" 1080p setup (yeah, pretty ancient, I know 😅), and I want to stick with three monitors for various reasons. I'm not a fan of 49"/57" ultra-ultrawide screens since everything is on a single display, which I personally don’t like.
At work (I'm a developer), I use a triple 27" 1440p setup, with one monitor in vertical orientation, and it's perfect for productivity. But for my home setup, I need something more versatile. I game quite a bit, watch movies on my PC, and also do some work, so my setup needs to be multifunctional.
I'm considering two options:
The idea behind option 2 is that the ultrawide would be great as a main display for gaming and movies, while the side monitors would handle work and multitasking. Everything would be mounted on an arm that supports up to triple 32" monitors, so the 34" ultrawide plus two 27" should fit fine (hopefully).
I’m also unsure whether to go with a curved or flat 34" ultrawide—any thoughts on that?
Would love to hear your experiences, recommendations, and maybe even see your similar setups! Thanks in advance 🙂
