A friend and I were talking about what we’d like to see in a Bloodborne remake, and we eventually got fixated on QOL features we’d like to see. I’ll leave features I’d like to get added below, and I’d love to hear what others would like to see.

• The option to respec your character. This could be tied to the Hair Ornament that you give the Doll, which doesn’t do much in-game

• Being able redesign your player character’s appearance anytime from the Hunter’s Dream

• A hidden stat display that would show how many Umbilical Cords the player has consumed. This would only appear in the player’s stat menu once they’ve consumed at least one cord.

• Button Mapping - so players can customize the control schemes to better fit their preferences

• Blood Censorship Options: For players with hemophobia (fear of blood), adding an option to change the blood color in the environments and combat could help.

• Some modern accessibility features (e.g.: colorblind display modes, field of view adjusters)

Just finished Bloodborne for the first time and I’ve got to say… what a game! Yes I’m a bit late to the party lmao. Finished on level 61 with secret ending done every boss aside from DLC and only the first chalice dungeon.. took me 25.5 hours! I’m curious if anyone can remember😅 what stats did you all finish on the first time you played?

Both are in their human form, Ludwig gets the HMS and Maria her bloodslicing. I would say Maria wins but Ludwig has the HMS. What do you think?

Can i kill every boss with kirkhammer?

I've looked online but all I can find is "the boss gains 100% extra hp on summon number 2". when you summon an NPC at, let's say, vicar Amelia twice, does that mean every boss from now on has 100% extra hp or only Amelia?

also, does this keep stacking or does summoning 4 npcs give bosses 200% more hp and so on with no limit?

couldn't find a clear answer on this online

I need help defeating the watchdog of the old lords in the chalice dungeon. I’ve been going at it for hours not and I can’t seem to get him down to even half health so I could really do with some assistance lol. Even just tips on how to beat him will do!

Is there a "best" gem set up for Ludwig holy blade.

Also any chance anyone can explain the chalice dungeons breifly? I've looked online but seems like a rng dungeon so can't see how it links to story.

You had to get 3 cords from i forgot who exactly. I know One was from a random lady on a table who I just found out was the fake losefka and I killed her and she didn’t drop it. Is my secret ending cooked?

i first tried this boss even tho i struggle at any multi boss. is it one of the weaker ones? the game was mostly rather ok from the challenge but i still really enjoy it

I assume no since we only hear about or talk to ones that have passed through, but I thought it may be an interesting point of conversation. To my knowledge there isn't anything in the game that explicitly states there can only be one, though I feel like it is implied. As for coop, I chock that up to typical Fromsoft logic of different dimensions/timelines/etc...

This is my third attempt of trying bloodborne after hating it from the first two tries and I loved it for the 15 hours that I played it before I got to Blood-starved Beast and I can’t get past him. I have spent an entire day trying to beat him. Every damn method I could find I tried (parry? Tried. Dodging left every second? Tried but it was always that third phase. Cheese? Tried. The Beast Cocktail thingy? Tried.) I lost all my consumables because of how many times I tried and my day was spent in anger/crying state. I should be happy; I literally just got Cyberpunk 2077 and Sekrio (as I stated I initially liked the first 15 hours) and I love pretty nicely but this day has just been me on the verge of crying because of that a**hole.

Even when I learned he was an optional boss, and I headed towards Vicar Amelia, guess what? Now 16 f**king enemies group together and attack all at once. Run past them? Die. Run past them again? Some enemy further away kills you? Decide to fight? They still kill you.

I can’t take it anymore, even my parents are worried because of what I am doing to myself by suffering through playing this boss.

I don’t know what to do? Git gud, how the hell do I do that?

I’m sorry for the long post but it has been an awful day. I can’t take bloodborne difficult any more.

What do u think I should do? Even I don’t know what to do.

So it seems like when people succumb to beasthood, that person is essentially gone. They’re mindless beasts. Ludwig does have a moment where he regains some sanity, but to my knowledge he’s the only example of someone in the game briefly coming to their senses after beasthood takes over.

That got me thinking about whether ascending and becoming a Great One is any better than turning into a beast. Imposter Iosefka mentions how she can feel the writhing inside (I’m guessing this is because of phantasms inside of her?) and says it feels awful. Now she could’ve just been turning into a kin, but still. Transforming into anything doesn’t seem like a pleasant process.

Obviously answering this will be speculative, but I’m curious what everyone thinks. I’m not entirely convinced the hunter turning into an infant Great One is actually good for the hunter. If they lose their memories and personality then that doesn’t seem any more appealing than beasthood to me. Yeah they’re a Great One now, but if the person they were is dead then what’s the point?

Hi guys as this is my second souls game since I complete ds3 (base game) and not gonna lie some bosses game me difficulty such as laurance (25 deaths), father Gascoigne and blood starved beast I have heard that orphan of Kos way way too difficult to beat so I had planned a separate day for him I was lev 90 when I faced him (gigsaw +10 and 45 strength) 1st try - studied his moves in phase one 2 nd try - studied his moves in second phase 3 rd try - died in second phase (his new movie) 4 th try - Got this MF with 8 vials left.

And I'm in sad bcoz I don't know either I was overleveled or i didn't got rage like others🙄 But I enjoyed the boss fight😌

or will I be just fine using what the game gives me in ng+1
