Hey guys, just recently decided to tip my toes back into Demon Souls since I've never beaten it and I'm going magic build.

I don't have PS+ and I don't really want to, I was hoping whether there was an alternative to use or should I just cop the month and try to get the item if it helps for NG+?

I read online that the last boss drop Soul of the Old One, but I didn't get anything. Did it happen to others?

Playing on RPSC3 and trying to go for an achievement run.

I initially rescued Ostrava, but didn't follow him around and he died. I only noticed when I saw a random key floating somewhere and looked it up.

Conversely, I don't know that I want to bother with the item dupe glitch to make the different upgrade paths easier, so I'm suspecting that I may have to do more than one NG cycle.

That said, did I mess up by letting Ostrava die? I didn't even realize he could die.

Is it possible for the all rings trophy to be obtained if rings are traded rather than collected? I'm looking to get the platinum on the game but have been struggling with getting these last 2 rings.

Im trying to upgrade my uchi to sharp. The upgrade path is showing, and it says I have required materials. When I click to actually upgrade though it shows the "you don't have the required materials to upgrade." Message

I am just curious but beside beating the bosses in an area, how can i move my world tendency to white. I had a while world after doing the old monk boss fight but made a mistake and fell to my death. Now it 1 lvl below white. Is there any way to get it back to pure white so i can get the key to unlock the cell in the prison of hope

I’ve accidentally discarded the officials clothes and don’t want to start a entire new play through to unlock yuria, my platinum journey will be so much harder if I miss her on my first playthrough…. Can anybody join and drop the clothes for me?

Ive looked it up, searched some other reddit posts with this same title, and i still havent gotten a straight answer. Im in 2-2 one-shotting the miners with the MLGS (2 handed r1), i die later in the level (i was in soul form the whole time, tendency hasnt changed), recover my souls, go back to the nexus to level up and use my consumable souls blah blah. and yet when i go back to 2-2 I cant one-shot the miners anymore??

Still the same unupgraded MLGS, full durability, still 2 handed r1, the only character difference before and after was that I leveled up (1 point was for faith, so it shouldve actually increased the damage instead of reducing it, further increasing my confusion), except now the miners survive with exactly three (3) hp, therefore requiring a follow up hit to fully kill them. So now im dealing a teeny tiny bit less damage, for what seems like no reason.
