Any tips for a first time going to balloon fiesta with kids, for the dawn patrol? Greatly appreciated
Let’s hear it!
Leave your worst Albuquerque / Fiesta advice
Anyone here work at the Coca Cola place on Los Volcanes in August of 2022? Or anyone familiar with their work holidays? I'm trying to solve a mystery. Please help.
I was thinking about riding my motorcycle to the balloon fiesta. It’s my first time going, so I don’t know how parking and getting there will be riding versus a car. Has anyone done it and can suggest for/against?
Is there a really good chiropractor in ABQ? I want the full decompression. I have insurance and will pay extra for someone who does everything.
Has anyone been there? I know you can go in during weekdays and you don’t need a ticket, it’s completely free. But I’m just asking for your experience if you’ve been to there and be completely honest. Is it good? Were you able to visit the top floor? Is the view nice? Any other details I should know? I wanna know wether it’s worth it or not.
Like the title asks. I am in town for the balloon fiesta but noticed that they have either morning or evening sessions. When we got here, someone told us to just stay all day and they wont make us leave. Is this correct?
Hi there, I’ve been trying to find this answer through the ABQ website and images as well as searching this subreddit but cannot find any clear info. Would I be able to part a 25ft long RV in any or all of the parking lots on-site? I’m worried if there is any height restrictions or tight turns. Thank you!
Hello all,
Anyone know what a fair going rate is for piñon these days? I’ve seen some high prices here and there and wondering if you think the prices you’ve seen are justified. Roasted vs unroasted, price per pound vs sandwich bag size, etc.
Give a watch! Comment, like, or throw a mf Sub on our channel!
Hi All, I'm interested in broadening my martial arts knowledge, and came across the website for ABQ Warrior Arts. They appear to teach what I'd like to learn; what throws up a red flag for me is that they do not list any membership pricing: https://abqwarriorarts.com/memberships/
I'm writing to see if any of you have visited the studio, if you are aware of pricing, and/or have positive or negative recommendations for their classes. Thank you in advance!
Currently 16. Need to find a job ASAP, anyone know of anywhere that's hiring around here or has any spots open currently? Idc much abt the pay or location I just need to get something soon. Any help is appreciated
Went to two concerts in the last month and going to another one tonight. Every time this army of people selling t-shirts are harassing everyone. I'm fairly certain they are selling counterfeit shirts(the musical acts don't get any money from), and they are everywhere. I've seen them almost get hit by cars, almost cause accidents, block people from exits etc.. Why does the venue allow this? Probably can't stop them from being on the road but certainly any Isleta property they could be banned from? Or am I mistaken and they work for the venue?
Hello! I’m thinking about going on a hike sometime next week and was curious if anyone knew of any that might give a nice view of the balloon ascension in the morning? Thanks!
The Balloon Fiesta is New Mexico is showcase so whoever decided to do a controlled burn and put the awful smoke in the air certainly defeats our image. The balloon Pilots have known for years that the Albuquerque box effect keeps the wins contained within the Rio Grande Valley. How come the guys doing the controlled Burns didn't figure that out?
Does anyone know of any good places to eat around here that are reasonably priced? I’m new to the area and I’m trying to get ideas for date night….
Just got word that Marble Brewery is filing for bankruptcy and will close all of their locations by December. 😐
I let the mystery snails in our tank breed and now we have way too many and to make matters worse, they all bunched up yesterday like they are having an important meeting and or plotting against me. I've declared in my house that all snail lives matter and we aren't killing any...but I'm wondering if anyone in Albuquerque wants some? I'm not responsible for what may or may not happen after you take them. DM me if you are interested.

how much hubris does your company have to have to be like "well, I see everyone hated the lime scooters, time to do the exact same thing!"
I support our troops (local street people stealing them for copper and batteries)
Semi new to abq but haven’t really seen any soccer stores or bigger outdoor stores with soccer gear/equipment, does anyone know any good stores for soccer? Equivalent to an academy. And also looking to play at the soccer field right beside mesa del sol, I’m just not sure if it’s public? If anyone has any info on it would be great, thanks for any input! Also looking for groups to play with. 20M
Anyone know of local farms or somewhere to buy milk, cheese, breads etc. looking to shop local rather than going to the store with all the additives and preservatives
In honor of the balloon fiesta starting tomorrow, I just wanted to share my favorite pic.
Hi, turns out park and ride tickets DO sell out if you wait until the day before opening day. We already have other plans for Sunday, what would be my best alternative plan for Saturday morning viewing? I thought there were cafes or breweries that open early and either have good viewing or run their own shuttle but trying to Google for those is not very useful. Would really appreciate any and all suggestions, fiesta is my mom's favorite thing to visit for and she brought her bf for it this year.
Aurora Forecasts have been released and it is looking promising to see auroras on Friday and Saturday evenings into the following mornings before dawn.
I don't anticipate them being bright enough to see with the naked eye unless you are in a dark area, but from the city, I am anticipating they might show up in photos.

In town for just a day. High desert has been good to me in the past for flower. I have seen people comment on dark mtr but not sure what the current opinion is. Thanks
