This may be a weird question. I love green chile but texture wise, I don't like big pieces of chile and prefer is to be mostly, if not all, sauce. I especially have a hard time with the texture when there is skin in the chile.
What restaurants in Rio/ABQ have green chile that is more sauce and less/no pieces and skin?
This morning specifically I am craving enchiladas but always afraid I'm going to get chunky chile which throws me off 😂
Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm looking for places that are doing single thankgiving dinners (so not the heat and alert full turkeys and such)
I'd prefer carry out or delivery but not against dining in in Rio or ABQ. I know Mimis Cafe is doing thanosgiving plates

Hello! I’m new to the area and I’m looking for recommendations on group or private tennis lessons in the Rio Rancho area. Thanks!
Hello everyone I'm looking for a 3 bedroom 2 bath house to rent in rio Rancho. Preferably by Intel or the north east side. Looking to take over an existing lease.
Let me know what you have.
Why the fuck does it take 5 police vehicles blocking 2 lanes to pull over 1 car? Fuck these clowns.
Anyone else seeing a increase in mice lately? I've caught 4 in my garage in the last few days.
Hello! Does anyone have any good recommendations on private or group tennis lessons in the area? Or recommendations on tennis coaches? Thanks!
Hi Reddit!
I recently accepted an offer at the Intel in Rio Rancho that will have my 8th grader and I move from Portland OR (previously working at the Intel here) to Rio Rancho between Feb to April. I’m able to work for my new company in Oregon until I can locate and get the keys for a new house (pretty convenient!). I’m looking for advice on the following:
What do other parents think of Rio Rancho Highschool? My 8th grader is part of the LGBTQ crowd and was wondering how accepting kids are there?
I’ve been browsing for houses next to Intel and the Define gym. Does anyone have any good leads on a house close to those 2 locations? I spend most of my time at work and then free time exercising so trying to make life for me there convenient.
Anyone go to the Define gym? What do you think of it?
Are flat roofs pretty reliable/ leak proof in NM? In Oregon, well it rains a lot here, flat roofs are a major headache.
Any recommendations on real estate agents?
How’s the bicycling/ mountain biking scene in Albuquerque area? Do people organize group rides?
How are the snow conditions at the nearby ski lifts? Do many people snowboard around the area?
We’re both excited to move and appreciate responses. I have family that live in albuquerque and look forward to living closer to them. Also, drier winters and a smaller city seem really nice.
Thanks!
Does anyone have any good vet recommendations? We’ve been going to VCA on Wyoming based on a recommendation from a friend and they are nice but a bit far away and so pricey, they charged us $175 for our kitten’s FVRCP vaccine during their half price vaccine times. From what I’ve seen that is well above what the rate should be. I’m also in a wheelchair and they don’t have an accessible parking lot which means my husband is the only one able to take them. I’d like to find someone who is nice to my pets but more price conscious. Any recommendations?
This place needs to be reported bad, enough that paying the inspector isn't an option, the supervisor does not care about any safety of her workers, comes in drunk on occasions and refuses to pay workers for sick leave and other expenses owed. I'm owed about $1500, enough to get me a little start in life right now. I know for a fact she pays the inspectors as I have seen mold all around the building, including black mold in some places. The workers here are miserable and don't get what they deserve, the managers dont even get a living wage rather $2 below. Please help out any way possible.
I just went on southern by Joe's Pasta House and there were people lining the street on the northern side with some police presence. Anything special going on? Just curious.
Specifically regarding the snow. I work at a school so it's bad enough they called a snow day buy I have a second job this evening and need to determine if I should go.
Anybody know where the kids can go sledding in Rio or ABQ? I know of one place in North Hills, is that still there?
Wet heavy snow on those branches that haven’t dropped leaves can cause broken branches and split trunks.
New to the area and looking for a local lunch spot that won’t run me more than $10-$15, any kind of food is welcome. Any recommendations?
Hello I was over at the block for the 2nd time and tried this Vietnamese place. Let me tell you guys in rio Rancho we do not have food like this. Honestly the block kind of getting it together but damn that food was good. Got some spring rolls and soup 1000/10. Thank you guys happy Halloween from a full belly✌🏽
I've lived in my house 11 years with a monitored security system the whole time. A few days ago I got a bill for $25 to register the alarm with like 3 free false alarms. I've never had a false alarm and I have never gotten a bill for this until now. What gives?
I know that the building caught on fire - heard some talk that it was for insurance money or something.
So is it just abandoned? Does the city own it? Still private? Anybody know?
Its in abq too but it almost gets worse up here and in belen.
Whats the BEST neighborhood to go trick or treating near rio rancho / Albuquerque??
If you're driving 5 to 10 miles an hour under the speed limit in your high horsepower Camaro and someone is just trying to get around you you don't have to drive like a dumbass. You must have a serious compensation problem if you have to flaunt your fragile ego that aggressively. You spent so much time with your hazards on I'm thinking your POS Camaro is actually broken and you're not trying to make a point. Why is it so hard to just keep moving and go the effing speed limit in the first place? Then every car that tries to pass you is automatically trying to race? No you're just dumb! Some ladies actually enjoy smaller equipment you don't have to take it out on the rest of the world just because you need a magnifying glass.
