I have an Android app that uses Google Play Billing for subscriptions. It runs entirely on the watch with no companion app. It does work for some people including on my two test watches, the Pixel 2 and the Galaxy watch 4 classic.

I have multiple reports from people with the Galaxy Watch 6 that when they click the button to launch the google play billing screen, nothing happens. This would be when the launchBillingFlow call is made in the Google Billing SDK.

I don’t have that watch so I don’t have logs or a stack trace.

Does anyone know of any incompatibilities between the Google Play Billing SDK and the Watch 6?

I want to track my time using aTimeLogger app and I don't have that possibility for Galaxy Watch 4.

I would like to mention that I have an Oppo Realme GT 5G and I plan to buy Nubia. But I don't think this serves much info help.

Hi everyone! I get a new TicWatch 5 Pro on Amazon. After few days i figured out i don't really like it and i wanna do a refund. So, i disconnected the watch from app, did a factory reset (3 times xd) and disconnected the watch and the services from the Google Account Settings. Am I safe in this way? Can I send it back without any risks for my google account? Thank you for your help.

Since I reset both my phone and my watch about two weeks ago I'm having this issue. I download the app on wear os, open, and it works like normal for some hours, and then suddenly stops to synchronize and I don't receive any notifications from whatsapp on the watch. Don't know what might be causing the issue. (A52s and Watch 5)

Hello, I am currently considering buying a smartwatch. What I would use it for is time management. I'm using sectograph (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=prox.lab.calclock) - very cool app, check it out - to organize my day and I discovered that there's support for smartwatches. I would prefer having the clock on my watch as watchface because on the phone there are way too many temptations.
All in all, what I need in a smartwatch is:

- WearOS so I can sync it with sectograph (or in general, I just need something that can run sectograph)

- GPS to track my walks/runs/bycicle

- if possible (no idea) the ability to run apps that track calories

- don't care at all about receiving calls or whatsapp notifications and the sort. The more the watch is standalone, the better (it's ok if the smartphone needs to be nearby)

in short, I want a device that disconnects me from the internet as much as possible. Any suggestions? I was interested in the Galaxy Watch 4 (it's around 120 eur on amazon). Good? Do you guys have something better?

My first wear OS watch was a huawei watch many years ago. It had a feature where if you double pressed one of the buttons, it maxed the screen brightness. It was great for seeing the watch face in direct sunlight. Then Wear OS removed the ability to do it and I was sad :(.

Fast forward and I now have a one plus watch 2. I can set the buttons to run an app, but I cant seem to find a simple app that controls brightness easily. Like run app for max brightness. The Wear OS suggested way is to drag down and change brightness in the brightness setting. but when you can't see your watch that doesnt help.

anyone know of a simple app that maximizes brightness for a set period of time? Like 5 seconds or something.

Hey everyone. Let me start by saying that I use an iPhone and I don’t want an Apple Watch.

I have been using a WearOS device paired with an iPhone for years. For the last few, a TicWatch 3 Pro GPS and I absolutely love it.

It’s time to think about my next device and Mobvoi has told me that the TicWatch 5 won’t even pair with an iPhone! I guess that takes it out of the running.

Which device would you suggest? Thanks in advance. I love this community!

I made the switch back to the Android ecosystem after a few years in the Apple world. I'm pretty happy with the Pixel 8 phone but the watches...aren't great. I only used a few apps on my old Iwatch and they worked great. <rant> The main reason for getting a smartwatch was for Duo notifications at work. On older versions of WearOs Duo pushes worked, it was a bit clunky vs an Iwatch but on current WearOs/ Pixel2 it doesn't work at all, or should I say the watch notifies me that I need to verify on my mobile device...what's the point of the watch? The other reason for a smartwatch was for bicycling apps. My favorite app doesn't and never did support WearOs, that's on me for not doing the research, but other apps like Ride with GPS don't support the current version of WearOs, similar to Duo. There doesn't seem to be a way to get data from the watch to the phone app UNLESS you are using the Fitbit app other wise there is no access to that data. I found an app, Heart for Bluetooth, that supposedly works around this but it's very finicky and doesn't seem to work for me. Ghostracer is another app that does work but only in standalone mode, that is if you run the app from your watch it will record heart rate, gps data but if you want that data to be recorded on your phone...no dice and this is a problem on longer rides because gps drains the watch fairly quickly. Seems like if you want to compete in the smartwatch market, ie Apple, you need to get your game on...let the flames begin...</rant> Is there a reason that WearOS is so hard to develop for? Why are simple tasks are so hard to implement? From what I can see support is diminishing not increasing...at least in the little world I'm interested in. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I tried severy app on my new OnePlus Wath 2 but these always stop to send any feedbacks as sound or vibration when the watch has display turned off, in this way they are all useless, do I have to set something to make them work properly?

even with "Exercise Timer" that has an option to keep the display on when is running don't work, because it simple ignore the settings and keep to put off the display during the exercise

So guys i want to get my first smartwatch and i want the most of health and fitness tracking features as possible and as i live in a country which there's aren't many good watches available especially (wearOS) ones i want you tell me which one of following watches better and have less bugs:

One of the biggest pain points from switching from a fitbit tracker to Pixel 2 watch is having to charge it daily. Finally bought a phone/watch charging station where you can just place the watch on top of the base to start it charging.

It's really simple but prevents the issue of the watch not being seated exactly right. Also just the ease of setting your watch down to charge is worth it.

They are overpriced so I waited a while to get one but just wanted to share, wish I had got it sooner. Worth it.

I installed Google wallet app on my new Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and when I go into it the error "Something went wrong. Authentication error.You need to sign into your Google account." and when I click ✓ button it says account not found. I'm signed in. Pls advise. Thank you

Im looking for a smartwatch but I don't know which one to choose.

My current phone is a Google Pixel 8 Pro.

So far I have mostly looked at 4 watches which are: The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, Galaxy watch 5 Pro and the Oneplus Watch 2.

The GW4C is interesting because they are very cheap compared to the others, but i have heard that the battery is pretty bad.

The GW6C seems good because its the latest from Samsung and I like the rotating bezel, however the battery life doesn't seem too great.

The GW5P is also interesting because it (or so i've heard) has double the battery life of the GW6C.

The Onplus Watch 2 seems like the best option because of the much better battery life and faster chip but I have heard of some problems with performance.

They all cost basicly the same where im from (except for the GW4C).

Im open to other sugestions but i would like to have somthing with Wear OS or something like it.

I tried to follow the tutorial I found that involves using Bugjaeger and wireless ADB debugging, but I can not get the app to pair to my watch no mater how hard I try. I input the IP address, the port, and the PIN and hit pair and nothing happens. Is there any better method for sideloading the apps? Thanks.

When I was verifying the trace of my hiking, the GPS trace was broken on the Wellness app (even on the exported version on Google Fit, but on Strava and Google Fit (the second app that I use for tracking), that's not the case. Does it happens to you ?

My TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra LTE recently broke down and was out of warranty. I absolutely need LTE and WearOS, I don't care about fitness tracking. There's no LTE version of TWP5, so my only two options are Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro LTE and Samsung Watch 6 (either 44 mm or 47 mm). I'm strongly leaning towards the Xiaomi, but neither of them has a secondary LCD display that TicWatch has. I'm almost inclined to buy TWP3U again, but it was already slowing down after the WearOS 3.0 update.

What I'm looking for is a 22 mm strap with a tiny, inline, bare-bones LCD watch in it. It has to be legible in full daylight, show time, and do so for weeks after the "main" watch had died. Do you know if something like this exists? I'm also open to suggestions if I missed any other WearOS watch that might suit me.

I have a new Ticwatch 3 Pro GPS, and i'm experiencing a little problem that's driving me crazy... and I know I'm not the only one, I've searched and searched and I come across articles but without really having an answer...

Probably maybe I didn't look hard enough.

This concerns bluetooth, and why sometimes the watch loses connection with my phone (Galaxy A52-5G), but it seems to be on the watch side.

So yesterday I was playing around with Facer, and at one point it was impossible to upload a new watch face. I look on my watch, the bluetooth is activated, but it has disappeared from my phone.

I restart my phone, my watch, activate the Bluetooth on/off of the watch, the phone... the Bluetooth connection is no longer possible.

The solutions I found is to reset the watch. It work, but it's quite exhausting, especially since it's probably the 3 or 4 time it's happened to me.

I then returned the watch, and got a second one, thinking it was a faulty watch... The problem returned.

Then I noticed something, which is that the watch does not appear on any other device. I mean that the watch does not appear on my phone when I search for a BT device, and neither on that of my watch, but our phone sees other devices in our house. So the reason I believe the watch has a BT problem, but that only seems to happen when I'm in an app to send watch faces (facer, timeshow, etc., but not sure).

I have the latest version of WearOS, latest version of Mobvoi on my phone, everything is up to date, I connected it with MobvoiHealth, I even tried to go through ADB commands, but the only thing that works is the “factory reset”.

Do you have any “constructive” solutions, and not “buy something other than a Ticwatch”.
