And can tell me why the watch will not go to imperial units for my rums no matter how many times I change that setting?
Or how to add music to it now that play music is done? There was supposed to be a way to add Spotify, but there's no watch version of the app that I can find anywhere.
Have been using my M600 every day for 5.5 years. Charged it every third day, plus every night after being out for a hike/run using the GPS. It has been great companion. However, three days ago, the battery more or less died, very suddenly. It barely lasts for one day now. It's probably not possible to use the GPS at all.
Does anyone have experience with battery replacement of the M600, either on your own or by Polar? Is it at all possible?
My M600 upgraded to WearOS 2.3 last night. I still regularly use my M600 and have found that recent updates have made it far more stable than it used to be, say, 4-years ago.
I'm currently trying to source an M600 battery to replace the original, as my buddy is sad his M600's battery is very bad. I have the battery removed completely (done delicately) and see how the things are put together. Just trying to find the actual 3.8V 500mAh battery replacement is frustrating.
Any suggestions or leads I could follow?
Woke up this morning to an update, I think. My Polar M600 now is running Wear OS 2.25. Did anyone else get an update?
My M600 is suddenly not showing my Sports Profiles instead showing a random bunch of Profiles I'm not interested in. Tried a factory reset of the watch which didn't resolve it, so am thinking it's a Polar issue. Any idea how to force a Polar resync on the M600 ?
It's - probably - my last post here and last weeks with M600. After 3 years with, no doubt, best android watch with some sports ambitions built-in. Last week got some digitizer issues (common to me, as my original M600 was replaced by service because of digitizer issues) - and my level of problem acceptance blows out. ;)
So. For some lost souls fantasizing about buying M600 now - DO NOT! It's too old. Android Watch OS is not a sports platform. Sunnto 7 is the best proof. If you're Apple owner - buy Apple Watch instead.
M600 is the most outdated running model my Polar for now. It's better to buy used V800 or M430 for training. For android stuff - buy sth with round, hires screen instead.
I'm sure M600 has one of the best optical HR on any android watch available (never checked new Suunto). New M600 get 2 days battery live easily (and my best sport session battery live was around 3h 40minutes - than M600 block FLOW app to stay alive because of 5% battery - the biggest, stupid UX decision Polar put on this model - I was around 10 minutes to finish my session!). It works with Google Fit, it gets major updates before Polar stopped delivering function updates (btw - we get only one, with some swimming add-ons). But M600 FLOW app is far below what you get on other polar's watches.
If you like FLOW platform - like me - buy Vantage M instead. It's the best runner replacement from Polar's catalog. Vantage V is for pro. But it's worth remembering - days ago Polar informed about the last update, as a last new function update for both vantage models (it's okay - they are full for now).
For FIT guys - Polar has two, new fit models. They introduced weeks ago a heavy Grit X model for "outdoor" athletes.
Lack of music was never an issue for me. On M600 used it on recovery sessions after my ACL surgery. It worked fine. But with new YouTube music replacing Google Play Music - we lost it on android watches too.
In the end - Polar screwed up with M600 heavily. Weak software. Weak screen/digitizer. And the fact, they abandoned it so quickly without any communication to users - it's hard to understand. What prolonged M600 life it was AW system. We got google updates (nice one, like additional swipe screens), there was no problem with additional software for not implemented by Polar functions like 24/7 HR (I used to use cardiogram).
I'm not sure will stay with Polar. After M400 - M600 was runner apocalypse. :) Vantage M lack some mountain stuff I wanted. Grit X is new, big and - like rest of Polars watches - lacks some phone notifications (all new P. watches can't show notifications when you have training mode on!).
See you all around! Keep blasting - keep running!
How accurate is the cadence meter on the M600? Has anyone measured it against any other devices?
Has anyone come up with a way to listen to audiobooks on the M600?
Has anyone had any experience with a workout returning a zero calorie count?
I went for a hike earlier in the day and the watch worked fine, and then the same day in the afternoon when doing a spin class the watch recorded heart rate fine but showed no calories.
My watch is on Android 8.0, any way to get 8.1 or 9.0?
Is there something like an updated M600(continuous hr monitoring, barometer, altimeter, battery that lasts for hours.. plural..)? As much as i love the concept of smartwatch with the polar hr sensor and exercise support, i'd like to wear it at all times and am not exactly a fan of the whole overweight fitbit thing it has going on...What i'm looking for is essentially Vantage V with music/maybe a way to call if i get mauled by a bear somewhere so that i don't have to drag my phone around when i go running..
Hi , i want to purchase a polar cadence sensor for my bike, however is it working with m600 or not , i don't find any information.
Is it possible to configure some kind of notification when heart rate enters the red zone? This would only be needed when recording an activity such as a run.
Can you share with me, some cool squares face to update my watch?
All of the cool whatchface, are circles....
Share a a picture of your home watch, and a link to download it :)
Which service do you prefer? I find myself using only Google fit, because it's have an good app to the phone, and nice looking UI at the watch.
Besides, you can manually create your daily goals.
I find Google flow unattractive.
What do you think?
I did a disconnect/reset because my watch was having difficulty acquiring a GPS fix. On Monday morning it simply gave up until I restarted it. Then it took about 5 minutes (outside under clear skies) before it got a fix. After getting back from the run I performed the procedure. This was on Wednesday morning. I used to get a screen with 7 icons when swiping down from the watch face. Now I get this.
Wondering if there's anywhere people have used to purchase replacement watch straps? I've noticed that I've damaged mine and expect it to get worse... Going to try and preemptively replace before it fully breaks.
Did the M600 get continuous HR monitoring or is my watch acting up? The green led indicating the HR is being measured has been on constantly of the last week. Anybody else experiencing this?
Recently upgraded to a Vantage M and was wondering what people sold their used M600s for. Not much to go by on eBay unfortunately.
Hi redditors, all you know polar is giving a running program for m600 users on Polar Flow. Is there any way or suggestion to create a program like that for cycling. If it will be able to monitoring with Polar Flow also awesome .

Thanks.
(I tried https://polarpersonaltrainer.com , however this service not for Polar M600 )
I'm debating training for a marathon(first ever) and I'm wondering how the battery will hold up. Can it comfortably make it 3h45m?
Okay, after two days not wearing my M600 - I turn on my Polar today and get tiles. Nothing special but nice to get some bigger weather/calendar/etc view. It's a kind of visual shortcut for apps. Works smoothly.
Hey guys, a bit late to the M600 party but I've found it to be exactly what I was looking for! A GPS smart watch that I could load music to from Google Play so I didn't have to run with my phone. I'm really deep into Google's eco and I hate opening accounts (free or paid) to use a new device.
I got the Strava app on the M600 and use Google Play Music to listen to music. I only wear the watch when I workout. Don't care to track my sleep, HR throughout the day, or my steps.
I have omitted installing Polar Flow on my phone. Is there anything I'm missing out on? I can get my GPS, pace, HR, zone training, and load from Strava Summit.
Thanks!
I'm stuck with a Polar M600 for now, as I wait for the Forerunner 245 Music to become more widely available (at the moment this seems to be my next training / "smart" watch). I'm not sure if it's a general AW problem or if it happens only with the M600, but ocasionally apps get shut down while I'm running. Normally it's the music app (I use NavMusic, which is way better than Google Play Music, while still missing some features), but sometimes even the Polar app is "minimized" - the workout time still shows up as a notification, but when I try to open the app, it shows back the main menu buttons (Workout, my day, my HR). That's extremely frustrating since, when it happens, I'm not able to finish the workout and I lose all stats.
Has anyone faced a similar problem? Is there anyway to stop it from happening? I feel that if I restart the phone before my workouts the problem is less frequent, but I don't always remember to do that - and it feels like something I'd have to do with a Windows 95 computer, not with some 21st century tech ...
Thanks in advance for the feedback!
