Hey everyone! I'm a masters degree student and am interested in how smart watch enthusiasts think about how technology becomes socially acceptable (or not) in our every day lives. For example, I'm sure many of you have heard of Google Glass, which was discontinued for consumer use because it made people too uncomfortable. I'd love to hear from this subreddit, what do you think makes the Smartwatch 3 seem acceptable, but not Google Glass, for instance?

When did any of you get your last update for your GW3? I mean I knew Samsung was going to slow down the updates for pre GW4 watches, but damn, my last one was in May. At least they could roll out some of the new watch faces for the rest of us.

Anyone trying to use SmartWatch3 & S21Ultra for Blood Pressure? Esp via MyBPLab? I've used Note9 w this app for several years. With Note9, if not measured after 3-4 tries, get a message to go on w/ health check-in. New Phone/watch just fails and fails w/o a 'go on' message. Anyone w similar issues.

Looking for a responsiblely priced smartwatch, that works well with the Pixel 3 XL phone. I currently have the Gear S3 Frontier watch I feel like it is lacking in compatibility. Suggestions with links would be most helpful.
